He delivers information you may not want to hear but he's got a long medical professional history to ground his advice and insights. He gives us his attention and is thorough when we have mysterious ailments pop up. I wanted to give five stars but the front desk and the medication reconciliation process gives me heartache. And for some reason they insist on ordering new medications at my specialty pharmacy (only used for my neurologist medications) or my home delivery pharmacy (which is only for my longterm medications). I once pleaded with the admin to only order my meds at CVS so I could pick it up (usually within an hour) but they had the doctor order my new medication via home delivery pharmacy which arrived to our front door while we were away on vacation in another country. A very frustrating delay in care that could've been avoided. Instead of listening to me, the medical assistant or whoever I talk to on the phone ALWAYS offer to simply delete my specialty pharmacy and my home delivery pharmacy. I literally have to beg them to don't touch my other pharmacies. Only use CVS. Aieeeeeeee! They want to delete them to make it easier for them. Huh? It's so much easier to just listen to me ... only use CVS. There. That's it. Aside from that headache, I still think it's worth seeing Dr Wadhwa. I know my health and body are in capable, kind, warm-hearted, intelligent, sometimes humorous hands. I'm glad we found him

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Wadhwa and will not be returning…read more From the start of the appointment, he repeatedly interrupted me while I was trying to explain my symptoms (lower back pain) and my recent urgent care visit. Before allowing me to finish, he dismissed my concerns and stated, "I'm not a back doctor, I can't help you." When I attempted to provide context, including a prior back injury and medical records I brought with me, he refused to review them and instead insisted--multiple times--that my pain was solely due to my weight. He did not examine me, ask follow-up questions, or consider my medical history. His tone was dismissive, and at times he appeared to roll his eyes when I tried to speak. When I shifted the conversation to the reason for my visit--discussing my treatment plan and medication (Mounjaro)--he again interrupted me and incorrectly insisted that the medication cost was $300. I explained that my pharmacy quoted $1,300 and offered to show proof, but he dismissed my input and continued to argue rather than listen. Throughout the visit, I felt talked over, disregarded, and disrespected. I left without my concerns being addressed and without any meaningful care or guidance. Patients deserve to be listened to and treated with respect--this experience did not meet that standard. I would not recommend this provider based on my experience.

I had to once file a police report against a male Doctor at an urgent care in El Segundo for sexual assault and so I was so nervous to see another male doctor. HOWEVER, Dr. Shiau ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. He knows how to carefully examine women and I couldn't have felt more safe. Thank you Dr. Shiau for your kindness and for giving me hope again. What started as a regular doctor visit, ended in a therapeutic experience for me. I feel relieved. I highly recommend Dr. Shiau. He took a lot of time with me and wasn't rushed at all. I felt safe, secure and comfortable with him. So happy to have met him. Also would like to add that the nurse Blanca is so sweet so kind and did an amazing blood draw on me. !!!!

Thank you Dr. Kim.

Over a month ago, I scheduled an appointment with my primary doctor after two days of chest pains…read moreand extreme back pain. I went to urgent care, but wanted to follow with my primary, Dr. Hardeep Chohan on Oct 24, 2025. I told her that in the morning I was crying in pain, but my symptoms had subsided after taking the muscle relaxers and pain meds I filled from the urgent care doctor the day prior. I was ashamed to say that I had put off my own health due to a hectic work schedule as the VP of a college, and hadn't been back for a physical or my blood work in nearly 2 years. Since I was there and meeting with her I asked if she could put in an order for me to do my bloodwork and she quickly shut me down. She said "Why are you talking about bloodwork and scheduling a physical? "You are here because of back pain". I was so taken aback by her tone and facial distain. I said to her "Why are you being so rude to me" I then explained to her that since I haven't been to her office in nearly two years I wanted to ask for an order for bloodwork and the last time I was there I asked for a colon cancer screening and the cologaurd never was sent to my house. She got even more furious when I said that the office hadn't sent my colon screening (2 years prior), and blamed me for not following up. I told her that I did call the office to let them know I hadn't received it, and nothing came of it. I once again questioned her tone and asked why she was being so dismissive and rude. She said, "You are rude and talking bad about the staff here". I really couldn't believe her behavior and did say that I was clearly going to have to find another doctor. She said "good" and "we are done here". She walked out. Honestly, it took me so long to write this because of how terrible this experience made me feel. I have a doctorate degree myself. I am an educated person but I was made to feel belittled by her. I can't even imagine someone who doesn't have the strength or education level to feel that they can advocate for themselves against someone like Hardeep Chohan. When I went into her office that day, I was concerned of how I had been feeling the past couple of days and scared considering my brother had a heart attack in his late 40s around the same age that I am now (this of course is all in my medical records that she has). I also had a bad blood panel two years prior and had to do diet changes and return in 4 months (also in my records). I do take personal responsibility that I haven't been back for my physical in 2 years, but this office never checks in or sends remembers and completely ignored my colon screening that was ordered two years prior. After I left that day, I felt terrible. Magically, my colon test came in the mail and I was telephoned from the front desk with my results a couple weeks later. I truly don't want anyone to have to be treated so poorly by a physician.

I appreciated her teledoc support when my husband passed away last year. I am very happy with the staff follow ups for communicating my messages and prescription renewal needs with Dr. Chohan.
