I have since gotten married and am expecting my first child and have still never heard back. $2000 for nothing is a lot of money. She was recommended to me through a family friend and I initially was happy to work with her but after that experience I will never work with her or recommmend her to anyone else. Your wedding should be a happy time in your life and your event planner should make it easier but she was the only vendor I had that did not respond professionally, make any accomodations or return my money. A few days before the wedding, she came over to review everything with me, but the meeting felt rushed. She seemed eager to leave and did not take the time to properly go through my schedule, timeline, or the details I wanted to discuss. Unfortunately, this lack of preparation carried over into the wedding day. She printed only one copy of the schedule for three people, and the schedule itself was the wrong version. She was unprepared and, rather than taking responsibility for mistakes, blamed me and others during the actual wedding. One of the most upsetting issues was that I specifically asked her to keep track of an important family heirloom. It was lost during the wedding, and I had to spend the morning after my wedding searching the venue for it. Thankfully, the venue staff were much more organized and helpful and were able to assist. There were also issues with staffing. Pnina told us we would need to pay for two additional assistants, but she initially only brought one and added the second at the last minute. When I saw the assistants throughout the event, they were often sitting on a couch rather than actively helping. I had also provided fans that I wanted distributed to guests by the assistants. They were never handed out, and I overheard Pnina complaining to someone, saying, "Another thing on my list to do for them that I didn't know about." These were only some of the many issues we experienced. Throughout the day, Pnina repeatedly commented that I looked "stressed" and "awkward" in my pictures, which was incredibly upsetting and only added to my anxiety on a day that was already overwhelming. Overall, my experience was extremely disappointing. I found the service to be disorganized, unprofessional, and not worth the price. Hiring a wedding coordinator is supposed to bring peace of mind, but unfortunately, this added stress to one of the most important days of my life.
