What an incredible experience. Laya and Shaz were wonderful to work with. From the professional seamless setup, the beautiful Bali style decor, to the end of the night breakdown services. My daughters 13th birthday will be one she will always remember thanks in large part to Bohoing. It was a perfect night! Thank you Bohoing

Simply the best outdoor experience I had. I was looking for a safe outdoor get together idea and a friend of mine recommended boho experience. I contacted them and they were very nice and friendly and gave me bunch of different options and were very open about what I had in mind and incorporated them into our evening. I had a location in mind which I told them about and they had no problem with setting up there. I couldn't believe how hassle free the evening was. All we had to do is show up and everything was already set up to perfection. We all had a blast. Will definitely be returning to them for another memorable evening. Thank you boho experience for an unforgettable evening in these crazy times. Your services were flawless .

My friend had a birthday celebration with Boho Experience. They made such a beautiful setup and planned it so well. It was an amazing, relaxing and cozy experience.

Love love love this little business. Had the experience twice. Once just a friendly gathering and second for my birthday. We all loved it. Laya and her crew were A-mazing. They are super friendly and professional at the same time. Very clean and definitely follow COVID cleaning guidelines. Personally, I felt like a princess. Walked-in and out and they took care of everything. Definitely recommend.

Laya did a beautiful job setting up the Tulum boho experience at the beach for my friends and me.

Complimentary bikes to cruise the marina, cabanas to relax in -- the kind of thoughtful touches that make a stay feel like a real escape without leaving the Westside. Big shoutout to Katarina from the Del Rey Lounge who delivered some of the best hospitality of the entire stay. She's the kind of person who makes a place memorable. I also have to commend whoever is behind the rebranding and marketing direction happening here. There's a clear vision and it shows. Someone is doing great work behind the scenes and it deserves to be recognized. If you're a Westsider looking for a staycation or have guests coming to town who want to be close to the water, this is your place. Highly recommend.

We booked a ResortPass for a Saturday and had a really enjoyable day at the Marina del Rey Hotel…read more Having eaten lunch here a couple of times before, I already knew the hotel had a great vibe. The location is hard to beat, with the property surrounded by boats and beautiful marina views that make it feel like a true getaway. Check-in was quick, and the front desk staff was especially welcoming and friendly. Self-parking was convenient, although the lot filled up quickly and available spaces were limited. The pool itself is very nice, but it was quite busy with families and young kids when we arrived. At times, it bordered on being a little too chaotic, especially when some parents weren't keeping a close eye on their children. It didn't ruin the experience, but it did take away from the relaxing atmosphere early in the day. Getting food and drinks was easy. We simply walked into the bar to order, and the service was smooth. By later in the afternoon, the pool area had quieted down considerably, making it much easier to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, we had a great experience. The beautiful marina setting, friendly staff, and relaxed atmosphere more than outweighed the crowded pool earlier in the day. We'd definitely consider another ResortPass visit. 4.5 stars

When he called and asked if I had ever been here, I responded and said no-to which he added that it was understandable being that "Joe Blow" can't just come in here and plop down for a bite-you need to be invited by a current resident and be placed on the guest list. If you want to be transported back in time, specifically either the 70s or 80s on a Friday night, you'll definitely want to come in and dine. The crowd is a nice mix of resonance or friends and or associates of the residents who live there. And while it's certainly not an assisted living home, the average age of the crowd when we attended was certainly on the north side of 60, and for over half of them pushing 70 easily. The ambiance, physical structure, layout & features (both overt and subtle) of the Dockside restaurant mirrored that (era/time/age of the location in every way-and in this particular case I would argue that's a good thing. My guest and I both went ahead and ordered the chicken tender salad, with him opting for blue cheese and myself going with ranch for the dressing. We both agreed it was better than average. Since I don't do alcohol, I didn't order any drinks, but he stated the two drinks he did order were excellent. All in all a great experience at The Dockside restaurant here at the Marina City Club restaurant where depending on what day and time you arrive, you will be treated to some jazz, old disco, or any combination thereof. If you want to go back in time a bit, it's a nice place to visit if you can get on the guest list.

I know it primarily because it is the halfway point on my evening run. I always stop and take a look at the view, which in my opinion is magnificent. In fact the Bird Nest is ALL about the view from the patio. You can see from Marina del Rey, to the West (see photo I posted) and Century City, to the East. The spot is truly inspiration point. The next time you are visiting the LMU campus be sure to take the time to visit the Bird Nest and soak in the view.

O Bird Nest. You'll always be the Bird's Nest to me. For some reason, either right before I…read moregraduated from LMU or right afterward, it became a big deal for people who worked for Student Center Facilities or whatever department to refer to this swingin' remnant of the '70s as Bird Nest rather than Bird's Nest. Whatever. This weird clubhouse-like structure will be familiar to anyone who grew up in the '70s or '80s in California. It seems that every place near a beach or a pool had some wooden building with dark windows, a loft, and a conversation pit. LMU's Bird's Nest, or Bird Nest, is no different. I attended many a campus event here, and all of them were disappointing. OK, that's not exactly true. Many of them were wonderful, but Bird's Nest never really lived up to its '70s hype. The loft was always kind of sad, and the conversation pit, while definitely not sad, just never did the best job of maintaining conversations. I will say, however, that it was cool that during pre-orientation my freshman year they had Dazed and Confused on loop here during a mixer. I didn't really watch the movie, and I actually really didn't enjoy this mixer, but this movie and the feelings I had were very appropriate. The Bird's Nest was much cooler when it had a swimming pool next to it. They took that out either in the late '90s or right around 2000. When I was at LMU, it was a tradition that you were thrown into a body of water on your birthday. Most people got thrown into the Foley Pond, which is scary because it's really really really shallow so if you struggled at all you were likely to get hurt. If you had a nice friends, they would throw you into the Bird's Nest's pool. I was one of the throwers once, and the lead thrower counted 2 twice, so I let go of the girl's arms while he held onto her legs. She wasn't injured, but I felt really bad.
