Our experience was beyond our expectations! We popped in for a quick lunch. Not being from the area, it was our first visit. There were an incredible amount of options for sandwiches, breads, and sauces to customize your meal. Seriously, a crazy amount of options! There were also many salad options and yummy desserts. I chose a chef salad, which was a perfect mixture of all ingredients. Not your typical salad, which is usually mostly lettuce. I also had cheese curds, which were homemade. So delicious! My husband had a bowl of chicken enchilada soup, which was very hearty. He also had a sub that was piled high with ingredients and sauce. Both of our meals came with half loaves of garlic bread. So yummy! The two fellas working both had a chill vibe and were perfect for the relaxed atmosphere for our lunch. Can't wait to come back! And next time we will get the cheesecake! Our experience was beyond our expectations! read more

First time here, but it will not be the last! Amazing selection of subs, both traditional and the unique. Huge potions! I ordered a medium/12" and certainly could have gotten away with a small. I had the Sasquatch, minus the chipotle mayo, and it was terrific. My husband had the Jamaican Me Crazy and loved it. Two people running the restaurant during a lunch rush, and they were helpful and friendly. Highly recommended! read more

I won a piece of gift coupon at a golf outing this past summer. I finally tried their service and their selection. The food was good to Soso. read more

Amazing little deli my husband loves to order from when we are in from out of town and need food for the way home. He alwayssss gets an Italian sub! They have good variety and quality. Their subs even come in 3 sizes: small, medium, and large! Parking is easy in the big lot. read more

Fenton Deli is an iconic place. You are not just getting a sandwich, you're getting an experience. I ordered the hot pastrami and my spouse ordered 'the godfather'. First, let me warn you. These sandwiches are massive. We ordered smalls and didn't finish them in one sitting. Also, know what you want when you order. What sandwich, which bread choice and what vegis you want. If you step up unprepared you're going to get peppered with questions. My pastrami was excellent. Hot, juicy and packed with flavor. Think of a perfect pastrami sandwich and there you have it. The godfather was also very tasty. It was like a whole pizza in a bun. There are a few tables to sit and eat but space is limited. This is truly a great deli experience. read more

Portions are amazing along with the quality of the sub. Been hearing about this place from coworkers and it didn't disappoint. And the service was very good as well. read more

The line was out the door and the owner was kind and in no hurry. Unfortunately the food was not great. Honestly I think they'd go out of business if a real deli opened up in town. I've never seen Russian dressing that was a bright red syrup before and I hope to never see it again. read more

Read my review & don't say you weren't warned!!! This was my first time and LAST time that my family will ever eat here!! Paid for 2 extra cookies ($3.20/each) & didn't get them, my kids sandwich was missing ALL of her toppings + a WARM juice box, my sandwich was on incorrect bread, all sandwiches were small/slim (hardly any meat etc for $20/sandwich), and the broccoli & cheese soup was extremely salty (and we like salt)!! We didn't even eat it all, it went into the trash!!! I tried to call & contact them, but their phone number is not active! I cannot go on their website, because that too, is inactive! I left a Facebook message (how professional is it that I have to contact through FB Messenger!?) for their business page, with no reply. Now I have a headache (from all the salt & my blood pressure rising), and my husband has an upset stomach + we're out over $80 & can't even contact the owners about my issues!!!!!! I do not know how this place has good reviews & is still in business!!! Subway is better than this place, cheaper + no headache from all of the salt! Unbelievable NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I am not much of a sandwich person but... wow. These sandwiches are massive and delicious, my husband and I shared a small and couldn't finish it- absolutely crazy. It's a small place and service was a bit slow given the line was 7 or 8 deep when we arrived close to 2PM on a Saturday, but everyone was very friendly. Can't wait to head back- so so good! read more

I don't think i ordered right cause i got the pastrami sandwich and the "russian dressing"taste very sweet.

Owner was extremely rude and food is overpriced. Two small sandwiches with nothing else was 35.00. Would not recommend

placed special request corned beef and swiss with coleslaw on a pretzel roll and an 8" (small) everything sub bun (they did not have the rosemary) with just tomato onions and mayo. Total was almost $25.00 and it seems too pricey for what read more

Great deli sandwiches and the staff is the friendliest around. We can't say anything bad about it.

Nice enough staff, and super creative sandwiches... though some of the creations are a bit out there. But the wait is just.. a bit much. It's hand made, husband and wife duo, but even if there's two people in line ahead of you you're looking at 25 minutes in line, at the very least. Good food, but with wing snob opening right next door this establishment might lose business simply because of wait times. read more

This morning, my father went in to order sandwiches. The gentleman said they'd be open in five minutes. My father waited. He went back in five minutes later. The gentleman comes out. It'll be five more minutes. Not particularly polite. That's definitely not ideal. If you have an opening time, try to open at that time. If you have an emergency situation. let people know. read more

This is by far my favorite deli on planet Earth!!! The specials are always intriguing, the menu is huge with so many flavor combinations to please every palate. We were recommended to come here by a coworker in Ann Arbor so that said volumes if they're driving to Fenton from there for a sandwich. Elated that we tried it!!! Every time I've stopped in I've tried something different and have not yet been disappointed!! Portions are huge so I usually get a half and still usually don't finish it which provides a snack for later!! Lots of bread choices to accommodate your selection! Highest recommendation I could ever give!!!! Enjoy!!! read more

We just got a veggie sub. Got back on the highway, and it's the best sub I have ever had. My husband is kicking himself for not getting him his own sub. I don't even know how a sub could be this good! I would drive out of the way for this. Sad I live in NC read more

I was excited to try this place. Sub was very bready but very good. I was expecting more meat like I saw on other reviews and photos. In my opinion it was over priced for what I got. read more

Didn't know what to expect when coming here. There are so many sandwich choices. I went with the Italian on rosemary bread. The small is enough for 2 people! read more

Wonderful service, fantastic food. The line can appear pretty hefty, often going right out the door, but it moves quickly, and the food is worth the 10-15 minute wait. You'll likely need that amount of time to read through all the fantastic offerings available in the shop. We opted for 2 sandwiches, so we could each enjoy different flavors and share, but the size was huge. We ended up having leftovers for lunch the next day as well. I highly recommend the sweet chili chicken and the Hot Pastrami, both were delicious. We will definitely be back! read more

Food and service were amazing! 7 people ahead of me had me intrigued. It's a little wait, prices are a little higher but definitely something you have to experience. Online and phone orders would be a plus read more

Fun, unique, delicious sandwiches with a focus on flavor combinations and, maybe, messiness! Many sandwiches have numerous sauces and toppings. New sandwiches are added (and retired ) every month. Multiple sizes of each sandwich allow you to finish yours in one meal or split/have leftovers. They have a variety of soups, chips, sodas and shakes to accompany your sandwich. You may wait in line to order, but the crew keeps everything moving. Easy to get in and out in less than 10 minutes. They have at least 10 tables for eating in. Brisk to go business. Clean restrooms. Shared parking with the rest of the strip mall. Easy on/off for 23. read more

GREAT subs and sandwiches! Ordering is an experience as you are simply spoiled for choice. Love all the crazy sub names and themes...it adds to the fun of the visit. The ONLY drawback is you can wait quite some time for your food. They take orders on an individual basis with two persons behind the counter. (they clearly work hard!). Portion size is remarkable. medium sub lasts two days. DEFINITELY worth any wait you may encounter. YUM read more

Feels like a sub shop that's been there for ages. In a good way. The owner is super nice and helpful when it comes to their huge menu which is a bit overwhelming. He makes a news sub of the month. Subs are huge and a bit more then your average subway but worth it! read more

Local Deli, lots of sandwich choices. No indoor dining, a couple of sidewalk tables. A few unusual sandwiches that get really good reviews. I ordered a salad it it was delicious! Definitely a hometown deli feel to it. read more

The food was pretty good except for the fact that the philly cheesesteak sauce overpowered the taste of the sub. The customer service was horrible when I simply couldn't hear them and they just yelled at me. Wouldn't recommend. read more

Clear shower curtains hanging across the front counter as a "barrier"? I have no idea! The menu is so enormous, random, and so hard to sort through. The owner is screaming out asking what I want on my sandwich and the type of bread as I can't see him through all the clutter. The sandwich did taste freshly made and overall good. This place just needs so much help! read more

Again, still on point. Got the Missus a chicken Caesar salad and for me, a large Leroy steak with EXTRA sweet hots on it. It's 18$ for a large, but it's almost 3 meals for me; well worth the cost. Jalapeño bread is delicious as well. read more

The food is enough to fill you for awhile. The only downside is the amount of time it takes to wait to order or take to have the food ready. If you're not on a timed schedule, ordering at the counter would be fine, otherwise if you're on a timed schedule, such as a lunch break from work, I would at least try to order in advance, if possible. read more

Unless you are Daddy Warbucks and don't mind an attitude I wouldn't recommend! Overpriced, food is decent but not worth gouging your wallet gets. Tried to call 22 times on Tuesday to find out how much a sub is supposed to cost and nobody answers the damn phone. Not to mention the guy (I assume the owner ‍) behind the counter is cocky and has a bad attitude most the time. read more

$70 for 3 medium subs and a cup of soup? If we'd gotten larges it would have been over $100. Crazy. Especially since one guy makes the food- very slowly, and it's mediocre. The split pea soup had no peas in it! Just deli ham floating in green broth. Never again. read more

Absolutely love me some Fenton Deli! I was rather skeptical of any selections due to a recent diet change and becoming a pescatarian. Much to my surprise, the Sub of the Month is "King Salmon". As usual, Fenton Deli goes beyond expectations as far as tasty sandwiches. Thank you Fenton Deli for making my day (again and again)! read more

The sandwiches are so delicious! No complaints there, and so many to choose from. But 2 sandwiches and a pop for lunch was $27.14. Almost $30 for lunch seems pricey to me. But definitely worth a try if you're looking for a combo you've never had before. read more

First time visitor. Told the cashier girl 3 times I ordered fries with the sandwich, guess what she forgot to put in the bag. Holy cow! Hidden gem. It is in a strip mall and looks like any generic sub shop- dont let looks fool you! You walk in and there are an infinite amount of options, different bread types, add-ons, salads, cookies, drinks etc. I chose the chicken cordon bleu sandwich but instead of bleu cheese I went for the garlic mayo- YUM. Paired with the toasted cheddar bread it was out of this world. I got a small and it was huge, I cant imagine what anything bigger would be. Super friendly staff guided me through the ordering process because I was mystified over all the choices. I think I will head back tonight now that I am thinking of it.. read more

Sandwiches are good, but the customer service is atrocious. The owner constantly closes early so he can get home and watch "the game". Nobody likes to travel a long distance to dine somewhere only to be told that's not possible because we are closing two hours early because "the game" is on. Especially when there are tv set(s) on the wall. Very unprofessional read more

Great sandwiches with handmade spin. I appreciate that this is a local joint and the owner MAKES the sandwiches & sauces himself. Lots of quirky combos that all sound delicious. I had the Cali Reuben 10/10. And they have gluten free bread!!! read more

Went to the Fenton Deli today randomly on our way back from DTW Airport and all we could talk about the rest of the way home was how amazing the food was! We loved that there were so many options to customize your sandwich and that everything was fresh including bread made in house. The price is higher than your average sub shop BUT you get what you pay for, I got the small and ate it for 3 meals! My boyfriend got the medium and it came in 4 separate pieces, basically 4 sandwiches. They also had basically every drink or chip you could ever want too. I loved the garlic mayo and boom boom sauce and had a lot of fun choosing my sub since there are soooo many creative options to choose from! Next time we are excited to try some other things like the Alfredo garlic bread, fried rice, macaroni salad, Buffalo chicken Mac & cheese, an array of awesome looking salads, carrot cake, and more! read more
