Again, this place is not fancy nor does it pretend to be. It doesn't need to be when magical hands abound to give you the amazing massage that you deserve. Sure, the masseuses may talk some to each other through the wall while you are getting massages, but I just tuned it out. They are speaking a language I don't understand, so I just tuned it out. And, yes, the rooms are small, so they have to slide the massage tables a bit to get all the way around you to work different areas... but, come on, it's NYC. Spaces here are small. Forget what the complainers are saying, and check this place out. It really is the real deal, and I highly recommend it to anyone. Oh, one final quick note: When we called to make an appointment, no one spoke English, so we took a risk and walked in. Luckily they had folks ready to massage. The acupuncturist was very patient with me in the consultation (only $20) and the acupuncture treatment was very thorough (though not necssarily relaxing after all there are needles going into your body). He also did this other things on my spine which involved activating my vertebrae/loosening them up. I also received a tui na massage which was very very helpful. The doctor went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and to recommend me other additional ways to help change what I was experiencing (yoga and tai qi/qi gong) as well as other thoughtful advice.
