They came out and gave us a quote really quickly, then got us on our schedule. We got a good price for a new picture-frame style fence and gate with redwood. We couldn't be happier and would easily recommend North County Fences to our friends and neighbors if they need fence work done.

Need a solid dog fence? Consider another company. Not great…read moreexperience and after more research speaking to other fence companies; i should have gone with another company who understood my needs. We had an existing wood fence that needed to be replaced with aluminum for our dogs. Told the salesman from superior fencing that whatever fence we get, it needed to be dog proof (he got a look at our dogs during the visit), as I don't need my dogs getting out, which is the whole reason for the purchase of the fence. The fences they install are hollow aluminum fences which allow the rails to bend very easily. 1. Installed fence over sprinkler head and broke pipe 2. First week of install, a raccoon bent the hollow aluminum railing and come through our yard with ease. I bet the railing with my hands almost back inline. Called the company with questions about the new flimsy fence. No resolution. 3. Both dogs went though the hollow aluminum railings with ease. THESE ARE NOT DOG FRIENDLY FENCES 4. Called company for advise or option to upgrade to better fence meant for dogs. No Follow Up; I have called 3 times giving them a chance to help improve my experience. Still no resolution Called another fence company for advise and they recommend i look into puppy add-on fence. This was a great recommendation. Went to HOME DEPOT and found a aluminum puppy add on. Best recommendation yet!!! To bad it wasn't from the fencing company that i paid to install my fence.

After two missed appointments with the owner George simply forgetting about me, I told him (as a joke) that he would have to change the company name. Turns out it was not a joke. I have never dealt with a more disorganized company. They said repeatedly they would show up and then didn't and I'd have to call to get them back forthe next part of the job. As for the workmanship, I would call it average, so the product does not make up for the delays. There a few small things left undone after two months, but I was fed up and just paid the invoice. I am another of George's ghosted unsatisfied customers.

George answered and we setup an appointment for him to come look at replacing my fence. One star for making an appointment, keeping the appointment, and showing up on time. Unfortunately, that's where it ended. George showed up as promised and good conversation about what I needed, spent some time talking about a vintage car in my garage and he left with my email to send a quote. Well, that was over a week ago. Crickets since then. I sent a text (I know he uses his cell as it was constantly ringing... busy is good) to confirm my email . . . maybe there was a mix-up when he wrote it down. Crickets. I think it's unfortunate in the broader construction industry that the lack of integrity is rampant. I finally looked up their reviews on Yelp and wasn't surprised to see this is a common trait of Reliabuilt Fence Company. If the job is too small, if you're too busy, if some emergency came up I understand, but show some integrity and respect for yourself and your business and say so. So, would I recommend ReliaBuilt Fence Company? Apparently, I'm not worth their time, but no. If you end up hiring them; just know what to expect. Thankfully I found out before money was involved.

Their willingness to coordinate with the other work being done made the process so much easier. The owner, Edwin, is extremely honest and knowledgeable. He took the time to make thoughtful suggestions regarding my upcoming project, and his professionalism ultimately played a big part in my decision to choose Apache Fence. I was also impressed by the craftsmanship of their work and the quality of the wood they use and the postmaster post. Edwin suggested going taller with a six-foot fence, and I am so glad I took his advice. The additional height provides exactly the privacy I was looking for, and I couldn't be happier with the result. Overall, Apache Fence did a phenomenal job, and I absolutely love my new fence! I contacted Edwin and asked him to come out and fix it, but I had to contact him many times before he finally came. Unfortunately, the same problem happened again a few months later. Once again, I had to repeatedly ask him to come out and fix it. Then, a few months later, the gate stopped closing properly again. This has happened over and over for the past several years. At this point, I am emotionally exhausted from having to deal with this situation. Every time there is a problem, I have to contact him repeatedly--sometimes 10 times or more--before he will come out to address it. Now, he is completely ignoring my calls and text messages. I don't want to keep chasing him anymore. He installed both sides of the gate, but the locks were not installed identically or properly, which I believe is part of the problem. He originally promised that the gate would be covered by a lifetime warranty. Based on my experience, however, he has repeatedly failed to honor that promise. This entire experience has been extremely stressful and emotionally draining. I don't think he realizes how much stress he has caused us by repeatedly promising to fix the problem and then failing to follow through. I would not recommend this contractor to anyone who wants reliable service or someone who stands behind their work.
