Highly Recommend Fence Me In! Miguel from Fence Me In came highly recommended by my nephew, and I couldn't be happier with the results! I initially hired Miguel and his team to build custom handrails for my new hardscape. I was incredibly impressed with the professionalism of the workers, the quality of the workmanship, the strength and sturdiness of the handrails, and their awesome appearance. I was so pleased with their work that I hired Fence Me In again to build a custom rope fence. Not only does it provide an added safety feature, but it also brings the perfect finishing touch to my tiki-style backyard! If you're looking for quality work, excellent materials, and fair pricing, I highly recommend Miguel and Fence Me In. I'm thrilled with both projects and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! read more

I was extremely happy to hire Fence Me In to replace my old wood fence with a brand-new vinyl fence. From the beginning, Miguel was not only very professional and knowledgeable, but also friendly and thorough in explaining all the details, including the height, materials, weather resistance, layout, and installation process. They were contracted to remove my old fence and install the new one on the same day, and they did an excellent job. The entire process was fast, clean, and efficient, with great attention to detail. Miguel was also incredibly responsive. Every time I called, he answered promptly, without having to go through voicemail or be redirected to an office representative. I highly recommend Fence Me In for their competitive pricing, professionalism, excellent workmanship, and, above all, their friendly and reliable service. I am extremely pleased with my new fence! read more

Miguel is, simply put, AMAZING! I had 3 areas that needed fencing and they were all very complicated....a different type of fence in each area and the timing was stretched out over several weeks. During this time, due to other contractors changes, I had to change timing for Miguel and he was NEVER upset and always accommodated my schedule and believe me, my schedule was goofy and difficult to follow. Add to that his work is exceptional and his pricing is extremely affordable. AND he is so nice and kind. I wish I had more houses so I could use him again! read more

I can't say enough good things about Fence Me In! I've now used them twice, and both experiences have been outstanding. The first time, they handled a 50-foot fence replacement for me, and I was so impressed with their work that I didn't hesitate to call them again when I needed a side yard fence and gate. Miguel and his dad run a family owned company and do an excellent job! From start to finish, they are incredibly professional, easy to work with, and clearly take pride in what they do. Their pricing is very reasonable for the level of quality you get, which honestly exceeded my expectations both times. What really stands out is their attention to detail--they don't cut corners, and it shows in the final result. The materials they used are absolutely beautiful and really elevate the look of the space. Everything feels solid, well-built, and thoughtfully done. If you're looking for a company that delivers high-quality work, great service, and fair pricing, Fence Me In is the one to call. I'll definitely be using them again for any future projects! read more

I haven't seen their work, this review is based on the scheduled meeting for an estimate, the no show, no heads up, and only responded to me an hour after he was supposed to show. When we scheduled the time I asked for a later time and he specifically wanted earlier in the day. I'm about to travel but I still shifted my schedule to accommodate which I now regret. He says he has truck problems, but that doesn't explain why he didn't contact me when it happened so I didn't sit and wait. To me, these things don't warrant second chances because they're likely to be repeated. read more

Miguel (the father) and his assistant moved our existing vinyl fence about 20 feet in our yard to enlarge our backyard area. They were on time, worked efficiently, left the yard looking good, and were receptive to all of our requests. The finished fence looks perfect and we were impressed with the price quote. We already have plans for another fence project and will definitely be using Fence Me In again! read more

Miguel installed a new vinyl fence and gates for me a few years back. Great price, great service, friendly, and responsive! It's been about 4 years and the gate stopped closing properly. I texted Miguel and he came right out to fix everything up. He even did a quick side project! He refused payment to shore things up on the original job. But I was sure to make things $$$ right for his time, effort and responsiveness. read more

My fence situation prior to "Fence Me In" was embarrassing at a minimum and outright a hazard to me, my family, and my pets (and that's without mention of the neighboring tenants). We inherited this monstrosity of a "fence" when we bought the house a year ago. After speaking with several other professionals we decided to go with Miguel and his crew at "Fence Me In." They were able to work with my timeline and accommodate my pressing schedule (I was hosting a company event and needed the project done quite quickly). Beyond that, they had great communication with me throughout the project and left my property clean after completion. Overall, the before and after is astounding and I couldn't be happier. read more

Miguel was very professional and efficient. He walked us through each step and was very communicative throughout the process. Once he started he was complete in less than two days! His workmanship is also stellar. I had purchased most of the posts and rails myself and he worked with what I provided even though our posts were square aluminum and a good foot too long. We absolutely plan on working with him again as the need arises. Definitely recommend MR services to anyone looking to have a fence installed. read more

My experience with Fence Me In was awful. My fence project was delayed for an entire month. Miguel and I agreed on an installation appointment. Approaching that date, Miguel postponed the installation date. The communication was very hard to establish, though I sent dozens of SMS but none of them got response from Miguel. I finally gave up making a deal with Miguel and company and ended up using another fence company. The experience was much better with the other company! read more

Miguel was incredibly professional when it came to installing 3 different types of fences at a property I purchased. He was quick, efficient, clean and easy to communicate with. He did an iron fence across the back of my property and a wood fence that turned into vinyl headed towards the front. (He also does gates!) The neighbors thought it looked so good, they asked him to do their fences as well!! Great work and would recommend 11/10 times! read more

What can I say Miguel is a rare find in the the handyman/painting/fencing world. My neighbor and I hired Miguel to do a 200 foot cedar fence separating our properties in El Cajon. Not only did Miguel beat out the competition by 30% his work was superb. I'm sure the fence will be there long after Troy and myself have departed this earthly coil. Get this Troy asked Miguel how much to Thompson waterseal the fence and was quoted $200. Unfortunately their was a misunderstanding as to who would provide the materials, but rather than argue Miguel did the job to maintain good customer relations. Wow! Who does that so Miguel basically made about $20 work for four hour of labor. I was so impressed that my wife and I hired him to paint our bathroom. Again his price was about 30% lower than all the other bids we got and his work as you may have guessed was outstanding! Wow! Wow! Wow! All I can say is if you hire Miguel you'll be greatly impressed not only with his bright cheery personality but his old school craftsmanship. Miguel immigrated to this country as a young man from the state of Jalisco, in particular the city of Guadalajara. You might not be aware it but Guadalajara was built by the Spanish with beautiful historic buildings. The construction and maintenance of these buildings was/is done my individual craftsman called Maestros(or masters). Miguel comes from a long line of Maestros so he is able to intuitively figure something out in a matter of minutes and execute a solution, in what would take most mortals hours to do. For example Miguel was able to construct a cedar fence on a 30 degree slope have it perfectly plumb in the same amount of time most people would take to fence a level surface. Also this the most amazing thing, Miguel is a one man band/Maestro and does all the work himself, and that included(in our case) carrying up 100 pound bags of concrete to set the footings for the fence. I don't know if you believe traits/character can be passed on from generation to generation, but however it happened Miguel has that special 'it'. As they say Guadalajara's lost is our gain, you'd be foolish not to take advantage of it. read more

Miguel did fantastic work on a fence project for us! He was quick, fair, all-pro, and easy to work with. A true diamond in the rough for your fence and gate needs. The project was about 100 feet of open fencing in a non-standard open design. We showed Miguel pictures of what we wanted, held a few discussions, and he was able to come up with a great design both structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing. He was great resource on choice of materials to get to our desired outcome and price points. He also did 4 gates for us - two solid gates on the sides of our property, and 2 open gates to match the fence. I couldn't be happier with the way that this turned out. We highly recommend Miguel for all your fence and gate needs. read more

Miguel did a great job installing a redwood fence at a place I am remodeling in North Park. He gave me a quote ahead of time, specific date, and got the job done on time. Miguel and his father make an amazing team. From the initial meeting through execution and with the help of Angel with cleanup, I couldn't ask for a better and more professional team to work with. We asked for specifics like putting a gap between the ground and the bottom of the fence and no questions asked - they delivered! Miguel was trustworthy right away and did what he said he was going to do. I needed a small gate put in a section of existing chainlink fence I have. I contacted several people and chose Miguel since he was reasonably priced and had good reviews on Yelp. We talked over the phone about the project, then I texted him some pictures of the area and the measurements I needed. We set a date and to be honest, I was a little nervous since he never came to see the area in person before starting the job, but then again, it wasn't anything overly complicated. He came the day we scheduled with all the necessary materials, made the fence in just a few hours and there it was! A perfect swinging gate with no hassle or delays or issues. Great work. Great guy. Super down to earth and reliable. He didn't cheap out on anything and I will definitely reach out to him for any future fence and gate projects. read more

If I could choose zero I would. I scheduled an appointment and confirmed it the day prior. Ten minutes after our appointment time, I checked my phone, no texts. 15 minutes Still no text. I decided to check yelp. At 1:15 he sent a message on Yelp if he could come earlier, because he was nearby. Our appointment was at 2:30. I texted him yes com over now. He texted he had been here but I didn't respond. A lie. I made all kinds of arrangements to be here on time He never knocked on my door, I was waiting since I pm for him. No calls no texts. WOW! Miguel created a magical fence that we've needed for SIX years to keep our pups safe... He was overly communicative which is VERY rare in the contractor world and he was always on time and SUPER efficient! He is SUPER busy but still made the time to make sure that the project was EXACTLY how we wanted it. Oh and he also created a super leveled, (our yard is VERY bumpy with a TON of roots) 120ft sturdy fence in 2.5 DAYS... BY HIMSELF! I can't recommend him and his cheerful, hard working, attentive and accommodating nature enough! Lastly, he did such a great job on our gate with Rosewood that we asked him to come back and switch out the regular wood boards with Rosewood and he was able to do it the next week despite being SUPER busy... SO awesome and VERY affordable! Best quote that we got out of six! THANKS MIGUEL!!! read more
