After getting licensed, we were supposed to be placed in externships. Unfortunately the communication from the school stopped with no explanations. As of today April 15, 2026 entire class did not get any externships so we are all doing random jobs now to get by. What's even worse is that my friend got motivated to do the same program and enrolled on the program for the class batch after us, he also passed the board. We both did not know that the school would suddenly stop assisting us after getting licensed. During the enrollment and beginning of the program, the school emphasized that they will assist with the externship. One of main reasons I stayed with the program is because they advised that they have a plan-B which is staffing so there is a safety net, that we will get externship, but that didnt happen either. While our entire class is trying our best to find our own externships after getting licensed and got "ghosted" by the school. The school is still enrolling more and more students and posted more future class schedules on their website. Which makes me wonder about their plans, if they can't find externships for the previous and current students, why are they still enrolling more students?

I haven't knitted in years but was recently traveling in Copenhagen with a friend and she made a point to visit so many yarn stores, I think it rubbed off on me. Anyways, no one greeted us. There were a few customers in the store while some women were crocheting or knitting at a table in the back. We walked by them (I even scooted a chair in) to look at yarns and they didn't stand up or say anything. Finally, dad and his daughter walked over saying they wanted to buy something so I went over to get in line behind them with some yarns. Bad service, nice selection of yarn as well as books and patterns and accessories. Not cheap but organized nicely and easy-to-find items (which is important when there's no one there to help you.)

They even said Jody Long had visited the shop in person- wow! They had plenty of wool, alpaca, silk, and more-- a good, high-end selection overall. The two women who were working were very nice and provided me with a lot of feedback (when asked) on yarns for various projects. I loved their cute Pride display and left with some beautiful Juniper Moon Cumulus yarn. If they'd had more in the colorway I'd chosen, I would have bought more. I don't visit Half Moon Bay frequently, but if I find myself in the area again, I will definitely stop by.

Such a fun and unique experience, perfect for anyone with any level of artistic ability!…read more My mom and I took a glassblowing class here and both opted to make the milk jug/small vase. They have a handful of tiers that have different items you can make including paper weights, ornaments, pumpkin, and a terrarium. Each tier is priced differently and gradually increases as you move up a tier. When you book/preregister for your class, you have to select the tier you want to make from, but you are able to change it when you get there. My mom had selected a tier 2 item when booking, but switched to tier 1 the day of, and we were charged appropriately. Instructors were very helpful and gave good insight and demonstrated how the process worked. They were very hands on, and could be even more so if you needed them to be. Our class had some younger kids as well as adults, and everyone was given great care and the assistance they needed. You take turns each making your piece one at a time, so the actual process per person probably took around 20 minutes for tier 0-2 items. Depending on class size and how many people are in your group/when you arrive, you could expect to be there anywhere from 1 hour to 2.5. You don't get to take your blowing home right away, it has to sit in a hot oven overnight to set, so I sadly haven't seen my finished product yet, but I can't wait to pick it up and start putting it to use! Good pro-tip, wear long sleeves! I wore short sleeves because I figured I would be too hot in long, but the molten glass is VERY HOT and can irritate your skin just from the proximity! My arm turned super red and had a little bit of a heat rash the rest of the day, but it went away by the next morning.

I didn't know what to expect but it ended up being such a fun and unique experience. It's easy to book your glass blowing session online and it's only $80 for a small item. My friends and I all made small pumpkins to remember our visit and they turned out to be so beautiful. The day we came someone was wrong with the oven. It wasn't as hot as it should've been but the workers teaching us were very cool and easy going and we were still able to make our glass. They gave great instruction and helped us the whole time. I learned so much and loved learning how to do this! I like that they can even mail you your item for a small fee since it takes a day or two to cool. I would definitely do this again! It's such a special experience.

Luckily, Teacher Chloe had another class for him, and he was beyond happy and excited to continue learning with her. There are no words to describe the transformative healing I've had this year. The following is my…read morebest effort to convey the power of what I've experienced since working with Jane. She is an incredible coach, teacher, and healer (among many things) who I have learned so much from. Last year, I stepped into the unknown. Not an unfamiliar place for me but the circumstances were (of course) different. I had just ended a 10 year relationship, was in between jobs, needing to move, and I realized that somewhere along the way I lost myself. Or rather, I forgot who I was. I was starting to identify that my soul's purpose was (is) to be a healer, but had no idea what to do with that or where to go. From the moment I met Jane, I knew her shamanic training program, Luminous Path, was where I needed to be. I wanted her healing as well as her teachings. And while she has provided much healing for me, she also taught me how to heal myself! On top of that, the healing takes place within a tribe of beautiful and strong women wrapped in a safe and secure container that we are all taught to create. Jane taught me how to share openly and vulnerably, how to stand tall and take up space, how to change my false lifehood story, how to let go of limiting beliefs and step into who I really am. I have shifted from codependency to co-commitment both within my relationship with myself as well as with others. I have shifted from feeling insecure to secure, again both within my relationship with myself as well as with others. I found confidence, clarity, peace, and joy. I found myself. I remembered. As the end of the year approached I found myself ready for more. I wanted more healing, more teachings, and more space to integrate it all. Luckily, Luminous Path is a 1-3 year program. Another thing I am grateful for as I am now in year 2! A huge THANK YOU to Jane. I am beyond grateful to know you, to have received your offerings, and to learn these ways from you. The ways of the healer. The ways of the warrior. The ways of the wild one. The ways of the medicine woman. The ways of the Goddess. Many blessing. A'ho!
