Me staying w/him as my doc for 10 years speaks volumes. Dr. Goodman is a kind, calm and very professional physician w/excellent bedside manner & great knowledge. Like an another reviewer said, he's that 'old fashioned' kind of doc that has no 'God complex' that a lot of docs have, and patient care is his #1 concern and he encourages you to ask as many questions as you want & he will happily explain. When I didn't have insurance, he was VERY accommodating with his cash fees. Yes the wait is usually long (about 1 hour), but Dr. Goodman is SO WORTH IT. I can't recommend him enough. : )

I saw Dr Kane a bunch of times. He's nice, but he's very quiet, not a good communicator, and while…read moreI don't have questions about his ultrasound and injection skills, I do have issues about his ethical choices and lack of clear communication leading to confusion. There is also evidence of highly-questionable documentation. He misrepresented the nature of a customer service complaint call requested by me to discuss issues with being given misleading info regarding the IV ketamine infusion procedure and what is actually done (they apparently don't do infusions, but they charge for "infusions". They actually just jab you with an IM/SUB Q dose and then leave and do not come back to monitor or assess safety for discharge). I honestly mulled trying infusions for a few months before desperation made me cave. His CYA documentation says he came back and assessed me prior to being "discharged". I was "discharged" by an assistant who asked me to leave because she needed the room about 30 min after the jab. I emailed him and requested a discussion about my concerns, which he granted. He called me while he was on vacation out of state from a private cell number at no particular predetermined time. He agreed to my request for a partial refund. Did not explain the discrepancy between what they tell you to expect, and what they actually do so my assumption is they cut corners intentionally to save time and effort since they double-book that slot. But, I thought he responded non-defensively and I used him again for a procedure later. They then went ahead and submitted a claim as a "telehealth visit" for that informal complaint call 2 months later. Also created a retroactive "telehealth visit" note stating he used HIPAA compliant audio & visual equipment and that he was in his "office" at time of visit. The summary says we talked about strategies and plans to manage my shoulder. What?! Also says that I was informed that they were going to bill for that visit and that I agreed to it. I'm honestly shocked. I have spoken to my insurance, also spoke to MPM newly-hired billing-specialist. They said they would withdraw the claim and "correct" the documentation. It has not been withdrawn or corrected, and has actually been resubmitted after telling me they would withdraw, and it's been processed and potentially partially paid (although ins says not yet sent). So they lied in an effort to recoup my partial refund, probably. Back in the Spring, I spoke to their newly hired billing/reimbursement specialist who was hired to help clean up the mess with their claims. In a follow up call, when nothing was moving, he stated that the MDs have had poor oversight over their billing, and that after reviewing their tax documents, stated that they were grossly underearning. So it make sense they will look for ways to invent ways to scrape in any extra cash. Insurance is not aware of a request to withdraw. I did submit to my insurace my dispute to this claim, the emails leading up to call and post-call emails regarding the partial refund. Informed them that he was not in NY state and was at his parents home in Minnesota at time of call (he told me this and I actually gave him the option to defer discussion, but he said it was ok). This whole experience feels like the true meaning of being gas-lit. To read a note saying I agreed to something I did not agree to and to read a note that has nothing to do with what we talked about is stomach-turning. I honestly was willing to move on after our discussion, I thought he was non-defensive, and seemingly accepting accountability for a sloppy and misrepresented service. It was actually commendable at the time. So I'm really let down by him. I had about 6 real visits with him and the claims issues have also been a mess, careless, missing vital info, lack of responsiveness from their office. It's nearly a year later and it's not fully resolved. It has taken up hours of my time to get them to move on this. I went in hopeful, seeking relief, but got added stress instead. I'm an RN for 33 years, and have had an unfortunate number of MD visits since my general health started to tank in the past 3 years. I'm pretty discerning from my professional experience of what makes adequate, great, or inadequate care. Part of the service experience is not just the medical piece. It's the entirety of the experience. I know others who have liked MDs but are blindsided by the lack of care and ethics in the financial aspect leaving the clients in very stressful situations. It is not worth it in the end. This is by far the most distasteful experience I've had to date. And after coming in hopeful and hearing such positive things. They claim to be ethical and transparent. There was nothing ethical or transparent about this whole debacle. I could not, in good conscience, recommend to anyone.

I had been in past treatment for what had been diagnosed as asthma since 2019 when I was a patient at the Lenox Hill Northwell Medicine Clinic at 178 East 85Th Street, 2nd floor. There I saw various internal medicine RESIDENTS who report to their attending physician supervisors, who put me on Albuterol, and Flovent. I decided to make an appointment with a pulmonologist at my wonderful hospital health care system, namely Lenox Hill Hospital of Northwell Health. Dr. David Posner MD was highly suggested to me and then I did my own research on his qualifications, reviews on multiple sites, Yelp, Healthgrades, Vitals, Google Reviews, etc. Hence, upon meeting Dr. Posner I was amazed at his kindness, bedside manner, and listening skills! I explained all, and he set me up for a lung challenge test among a few other tests, and low and behold, I NEVER HAD ASTHMA NOR COPD!!! Dr. Posner explained all in detail, took his time with me, and is one of the best medical doctors at Lenox Hill Hospital of Northwell Health and their pulmonary clinic on the 3rd floor of 178 East 85Th Street, New York, NY 10028. I was further treated with professionalism by the front desk staff, which is extremely important, and the clinic is beautiful. Dr. Posner will always continue to be my go to pulmonologist at Lenox Hill Hospital of Northwell Health in any future issues regarding any pulmonary issues or questions. I highly recommend Dr. Posner!!!!!

He acted as if my father didn't do enough to fight for his life, when he did everything NYC and Yale hospital had to offer him. He was extremely insulting and hurtful. A couple of months later while reviewing my blood over the phone with Dr. Solomon, he became rude once again. He reprimanded me for not calling him back sooner and acted super arrogant. As he was asking me questions about my health he wouldn't let me answer them because he kept speaking over me. No educated adult needs to be spoken down to like this. The conversation was a waste and very disrespectful. I did not appreciate his attitude, arrogance and ruddiness on either occasion. Maybe I could have looked passed all of the negatives, if he were able to help my health situation, but he wasn't. He put me on prednisone, which is something my primary doctor had already done three times before. Nothing revolutionary at all! This was a waste of time, money and effort.
