We have visited Feelgood Farm on several occasions in search for foxhunting/eventing prospects and have consistently been treated with professionalism and patience. Morgan and her staff have always been efficient and helpful, allowing us to try several horses on each visit. She has also been understanding of our budget restrictions which has made Feelgood Farm one of our first stops when looking for horses. We also appreciate that we have never been treated with resentment or disappointment when we have decided not to purchase. Instead, we have been encouraged to return later when new horses arrive that might better suit our needs. It should be noted that Feelgood Farm horses often do move quickly, so you have to act with speed if you are keen on a particular prospect! Thank you all for everything and we look forward to working with you again soon! read more

This business is into flipping horses as fast as they can at horses expense. Buyer beware - not honest and will do anything to sell a horse. We have a pre purchase vetting complete with radiographs on the palomino Appaloosa named velvatine rabbit - he is extremely lame on right front They will tell you he is sound and can be ridden. This poor horse is still being shown to people and being ridden when vet expressed months of time off for his lameness. Very reputable vet! STEER CLEAR OF THIS FARM read more

FEEL GOOD FARM IS FEEL GOOD FARM, the trainer here IS THE BEST IVE EVER HAD OR MET. SAME WITH THE OWNER, these ladies are bad ass. I bought a horse from them in September and have been nothing but happy as hell. The girls that ride there are also the sweetest people I have met along with the owner and trainer. Feel good farm makes you feel good because they never judge you and are so amazing along with their horses. I love it here and will never leave. Do not buy a horse from here. They don't know what they're doing. They don't even have coggins for most of the horses they get in. The proper time/money is not spent on these horses that they're getting from who knows where. They have some fancy horses, but who knows what could be wrong with them. If you do buy from here get them vetted. read more

We bought what we were told was an 11 year old Canadian warmblood gelding from Morgan in October 2021. He was shown to us very underweight, dull coat, and a runny nose. He moved well and seemed safe and sound when test ridden, first by a teenager and then by my daughter. He test rode as was described: a "kick ride," but he was green at jumping. We were looking specifically for a safe horse to use for trail rides with potential to show at local low level shows, and this horse seemed to fit that bill. The videos Morgan posted showed him at WTC, and jumping small fences. She said he was foxhunted and had dressage training. If I didn't have photos to compare, I would not have believed that we brought home the same horse! Two vets confirmed that he was much older than 11 years old, probably 17+. We could live with this had it been the only difference, however the horse's entire manner seemed to change completely. He was nervous when being led from the field and wouldn't stand in cross ties. Again, this we can work with. But the biggest difference was dangerous -- found out on Day 5 that he would not tolerate a rider and would bolt, buck or rear immediately from the mounting block. Having not known this, the first time I got on at home he threw me and sent me to the hospital with a broken arm and hip. I contacted Morgan several times about trading him for a more suitable horse or returning for a refund. She refused and argued about his age and training. I don't think two vets could be wrong! She said her vet in Canada aged him, but I'm doubtful as vets do not age a horse for a Coggins test, just markings. The prior owner turned out to be another "dealer" who shops the auctions, and then ships them to her in Maryland, not the story she told us about a woman who needed to sell her horses due to bad health. I am just now getting around to posting this as we have had him for several months and have taken his training back to the basics. He is still bolting from the mounting block, but getting better. He has dumped his rider a few times. After several vet visits for possible injury/pain yielding no findings, we suspect he is green broke or had some rodeo bronc training. The current trainer says he was used as a buggy horse, as evidenced from the scars on his nose. HOW DID HE GO SO CALMLY AT FEELGOOD WHEN RIDDEN THERE??? The other sales horses all go very calmly, too, very robotic. Hmmm. These types of sales are unethical and can produce incredibly hazardous results. This one did, I am just glad I am alive to complain. Please read the other Google, Yelp, and COTH reviews; there are quite a few similar stories to mine. Long story short, had I received honest information I could have saved myself not only heart ache, but weeks in the hospital. Please get a PPE, a drug test, and a full history on any horse you consider before buying from Feelgood Farms or Morgan Baugher. read more

Staff was very nice before and after arrival. Facility was clean and inviting. We were allowed plenty of time with the horses. Unfortunately the 3 horses we were shown had apparently only been there a couple of weeks and were not what we were expecting. My opinion is the horses need more time to be acclimated, evaluated, fattened up, feet taken care of and groomed, It was over a 6 hour round trip for us and we went ready to purchase. We were so disappointed and will not take another trip there. read more

I got feedback from the seller after reading my review which 1) mentioned my daughter took blame for the horse REFUSING TO JUMP SMALL JUMPS (she's a kid who saw a video of a horse jumping huge jumps thinking he should do small ones - NOT KNOWING IT WAS A DIFFERENT HORSE). Are you seriously going after my kid when you put her on a different horse than YOU advertised?! 2) said the Seller from Florida could defend them putting my daughter on a different horse. Here's my reply. FACT. I never spoke or texted with anyone but YOU. No reason for us to now talk to a stranger in Florida. FACT. YOU told me the horse we had texted about over 70 times and two months was in your possession. FACT. YOU put my daughter on a DIFFERENT horse than we had texted about over 70 times and two months. FACT. YOU and your Trainer pointed to YOUR cell phone video saying that horse wasn't jumping for my daughter but LOOK! HE CAN JUMP IN THIS VIDEO of a DIFFERENT horse. FACT. My daughter and I drove over 10 hours to ride the horse you advertised but it was a DIFFERENT horse. FACTS. Morgan - you want to respond again blaming my daughter and someone I never spoke to in Florida? Then we should show all of our texts with the side by side videos of your ad compared to the videos of our riding the horse you put us on. Don't go after a kid - it looks even worse. read more

Our experience with Feel Good Farm (hereinafter "Feel Bad Farm"/ "FBF") Here is my wife and my recent experience (April /May 2022) with FBF 1st horse -Obviously has DSLD,Morgan of Feel Bad Farm states it would be a great horse for us. My wife states that we do not want to purchase a horse with known problems that will only get worse in time, to which Morgans' response is that any horse can have issues at any point. 2nd horse- just blew an abscess but was recovering. shortened gaits and in obvious discomfort. When Morgan was asked if he had chronic abscesses, she brushed it off saying " abscesses are not chronic, the farrier dug it out." Which we know not to be true as we have personal experience with a horse with chronic abscess issues. My wife rode Abscess Boy. He was calm but still limping. The appointment was made to view 3 certain horses, NONE of which were tacked up or prepared . Second horse on the list to view was a Haflinger Gelding. We have a Haffie. We had a Haffie that passed, we know they are strong willed, this one was listed as safe and definitely was NOT SAFE , except for other than a very experienced rider. We watched him come into the arena and knock my wife into a bench, twice. The rider attempted to mount at block, and another blow up occurred. Finally rider mounted and this horse was a true jerk. Taking off and not listening at all. Very bad and unsafe behavior, complete opposite as to what he was advertised as being. During several of the appointments that day, Morgan stated that the horses come from Canada and when they get here, due to change in soil, etc, they start to limp so she " slaps shoes" on. During text Morgan was asked if the horses are micro-chipped. Morgan states they all have a coggins from Canada to travel, but they are not micro-chipped. However, Morgan has a rebuttal post online where she replies that "our horses are microchipped". Time to meet the Palomino gelding. This guy is mean right out of the pen. When saddled, obviously in distress so my wife remarked to Morgan that he may need ulcer medicine at which Morgan dismissed the possibility of health issues causing his discomfort. During the visit there was a tall spotted drafty boy in the arena who we viewed being ridden, at all gaits, and then standing completely still for over an hour, not hard tied to a post while jumpers and people and chaos was all around him. We decided that although this is not who we came to see, by his outstanding behavior he deserves a second look. Staff member rode him, even backwards. I rode him and my wife lead him around. He was a good boy, in spite of being underweight and having very long toes. After discussing tall spotted drafty boy, he seemed so calm that he would be a great fit. Texted Morgan, asking what payment types she took and could we pick him up early the next day (8:30) Morgan states she will accept Paypal, but to make sure to use Friends and Family so no fees are incurred to her. Morgan states we can't pick up prior to 9:00 am because that is when staff arrives. Morgan states that if tall spotted drafty boy doesn't work out, we can trade for Abscess Boy, who she promptly sold that week. RED FLAGS HERE- Using Friends and Family was a huge mistake as it affords no protection to buyer. Arrive at farm at 8:50 and appears that staff did Not just arrive. (Time to medicate) By the next day, my boy is completely lame and not wanting to walk at all. Morgan suggests abscess. I tell her vet is coming and will also be drawing a drug screening test to which she says that she gives her staff permission to give 1 gram of bute to horses that were shown several times in a day. WHAT healthy, sound horse needs bute to be shown 3x in a day with rest in between?? PayPal will not refund. Morgan will not refund or trade. I now have a grade 4/5 lame horse that is a lovely pasture pet. RUN far away from feel bad farm! Save the heartache and your money. read more

Don't waste your time. The horses seem great in the photos and videos, but in reality, a majority of the horses shown to us were lame (and I mean LAME), and the riders didn't seem to notice. We were not shown professionalism, even though we had traveled 6 hours, with a trailer, to see their horses. The owner didn't seem to know much about the horses, except how much they were asking for them. I expected better from people who owned such a beautiful facility. read more

We had a great experience working with Morgan and her team to find a wonderful husband/kiddo horse to add to our family!

I contacted Feelgood Farm about a horse I saw online and was interested in. Although that horse was sold they welcomed me to come out and try any other horses I may be interested in, and to let them get a good idea of what I may be interested in. The staff was very friendly, the horses in good condition. All of the horses had fabulous ground manners, including standing for tack without being tied. They had one or more of the staff ride the horses for me to see, then allowed me to try as many as I would like. They continued to pull up any of the horses I may be interested in, with no annoyance at me wanting to try such a wide variety of horses. When I was uncertain at the end of the day, I was told I would be welcome back for more try out rides on the horse I am considering or any others, to take lessons, or to start a lease to own. With the lease, the horse would stay on property until the sale was final. If during the first month I decided the horse and I are not well suited to each other, the lease could be transferred to another horse or paused until a horse I clicked better with became available. Considering how many horses of the type I am looking for go through the barn, I have no doubts I would find a suitable horse shortly. As a definitely *not* hunter type rider, as well as a heavier rider, I really appreciated the friendly, helpful, and non- judgmental attitude of Morgan and all the staff. I also really liked the friendly atmosphere and happy camaraderie everyone at the barn seemed to have. I plan to start taking lessons there with the horse I am considering, and probably soon a lease to own. read more

This past fall i purchased a horse from Feelgood Farm for my fiancé as a wedding gift. She had ridden most of her life but had taken time off after her horse had an injury and wanted something she could take out on the weekends. Not knowing much about the process and where to begin I contacted a few farms in the area and began the search for a calm, safe trail horse. I lined up an appointment at Feelgood for my fiancé to go look at what they had available. Upon arrival I noticed they had a clean and well maintained facility. The staff were very helpful, polite, and did their best to answer all our questions. After looking at several horses we decided to take the night to make our decision as my fiancé was torn between 2 horses. We ended up setting up a pre purchase which the horse passed and were able to take him home that week. My fiancé couldn't be happier with her horse (Denny) and I'm very thankful for all of the help and guidance from Feelgood Farm for making this possible. Highly recommend! read more

Drive 6 hours each way to see a horse for sale at this farm. The horses are not clean, groomed or in training. The horse we went to see had 2 large scars on a rear that were disfiguring despite us being told that the horse had no prior injuries. They told me to cover it with paint if I didn't like it. The horse was advertised as "bombproof" yet it spooked at a weedwacker, walked off multiple times at the mounting block and proceeded to spook persistently along the entire side of the arena. Obviously, not beginner safe. We evaluated every other horse they had for sale at the barn and all had evidence of prior injury, were poorly maintained with clear evidence of physical discomfort. The horses clearly had very little training and none of these horses was suitable for a beginner rider despite their claims that the put young children on them to ride. The horses were hugely overpriced. The ads were deceiving and full on untrue. Would never consider another horses from this place again. read more

In my opinion, this group is not prepared for horse sales. When trying to purchase a horse, at the moment we were about to hit "send" on the money, the owner was unable to produce any records (Coggins prior to 10 days ago, health record, previous bill of sale or other proof of ownership). Immediately after withdrawing from the sale because of this, I have been blocked by the owner from contacting her. read more

This Review is about my own personal experience with Morgan of Feelgood Farms. I was shopping for a horse with a limited budget. Morgan had advertised these two Draft X brothers - Batman & Tarzan. I was specifically interested in Batman. I will start with the advertisement. Morgan mentioned in the AD that Batman was 2 coming 3 and that she was selling because she has too many horses and just didn't want to spend the time training and sell later. She also mentioned that they were great for the farrier and had no vices. In conversation, Morgan mentioned that she had another young horse for me to look at, named Chrome. A 2 coming 3 year old just like Batman - she just hadn't marketed him yet. So I told her I would be happy to see them both. My mom and I drove up from North Carolina and were really excited to meet the two young horses. Meeting Batman you could tell he had VERY minimal handling and actually struck out when my mom went to pick up his back foot (This horse has never had his feet handled). Batman was absolutely adorable and his personality, although very introverted, was very kind and sweet. Morgan than took us to see Chrome another 2 year old, recently gelded, horse who was put out with a mare he now took on as his new mother. Having been weaned a long time ago I would think "He should be with other geldings, not a new mom at this age". Aside from that observation this horse was terrified of people. Morgan mentioned that his castration was traumatic for him and didn't go into details. She said before the castration he was sweet (she said his castration was a month ago but it was actually December 2016). Based on the two young horses, I chose Batman because he seemed to be a little further along. When I brought him home we discovered he was a wood chewer and you couldn't bathe him, groom him, cross time him.. NOTHING! He was given high quality hay all day long and outside with other geldings the majority of the day. Not to mention the condition he was in when he arrived... He had a large indention on the left side of his neck and through his winter coat I was pulling dead skin that were old wounds through his hair all over his body. His mane and tail were full of bot eggs and mangy. Feelgood Farms would have known all of this had they touched him at all. We eventually had our vet come out and the first thing he checked was his teeth. My vet said immediately "This horse is between 5 and 7 years old. Based on his well established canine tooth in the lower jaw, I would say closer to 6 years old". WHAT?! I was heart broken. I taught this baby to bathe, groom, lunge.. you name it in the 3 weeks I had him. I called Morgan and told her what my Vet of 40 years said about his age. She eventually got on the phone with my vet and she told him that he could have his opinion about the horses age but that it was impossible for him to be 6 years old. My vet simply stated "It is not an opinion. It is FACT that this horse is between the ages of 5 - 7". A horse, ANY horse no matter what breed, gets their lower canine in starting around the age of 5 years old. She continues to think that its opinion and not fact (or she is just trying to save her own skin) - Even after telling her that the Vet she normally uses said the exact same thing my vet did. My vet spoke with Morgan for a few minutes and based on her reaction and the fact that she had NO paperwork on the horse and REFUSES to tell us where he came from exactly, he was pretty sure that he was a PMU baby. And so it continues... Aside from being so upset as I spent 12 hours in the car and spent a lot of money for this horse that I was hoping to be much taller (I am 6 feet tall and specifically told her I needed a large horse). Batman was about 15.2 and my vet said maybe he will get another inch taller... was definitely not enough. Morgan REFUSED to return my money. I paid some up front and we had a contract for a few extra payments. She did however offer that I could bring Batman back and switch for Chrome the other 2 year old (I decided to do this, with additional encouragement from my attorney, in order to protect my money even if Chrome would not grow to be the size I needed). I felt I needed to be as nice as possible because I was afraid she would just take my money and refuse to work with me AT ALL. Luckily, she allowed me to return Batman and pick up Chrome AFTER I had him vetted. I did not Vet Batman but if you decide to purchase from Feelgood Farms after you read this VET THE HORSE! You may regret it if you don't. I drove back up to bring Batman to Morgan and create a new contract for Chrome. She also decided to not honor our original deal of payments and required the rest of my payment up front for Chrome which was difficult for me but I had no other option since she would not give me my money back or honor our original terms of purchase. You can recognize the house with the pillars from the road - they put horses there in their sales videos. Morgan and her crew were super friendly and very helpful. Every horse I wanted to see was out in far pastures and they didn't blink an eye as they scurried around bringing horses in and out. They only wanted to help me find a new partner. The horses were in good weight, and as advertised. Their riding area was big and clean. I don't know how they deal with all the super green riders we saw, but they did. Did I find my next horse? No. Would I go back again to look? Definitely. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! These horses are not all as represented! My friend bought a horse, Alfred, at the beginning of the COVID shut down. He was bought from a video (due to no visitors in farm) that met all requirements. NOT SO!! Dangerous on the ground. No concept of your presence. Does not cross tie, can't be brought out of pasture without his buddy. SOooo for 4 months he has been standing around USELESS. He was bought w/ the option to trade if not suitable. NOT SO!! This review is about a personal experience with Morgan and her staff at Feelgood Farm. My daughter contacted Morgan about some horses she advertised for sale on Facebook. My daughter was very specific about her budget and the fact that she is 6 feet tall and needs a big horse. She was very excited about training her own baby horse, which brings me to the ad she responded to. The ad said two horses Batman and Tarzan. Batman 2 coming 3 years old and Tarzan 3 coming 4 years old. So when my daughter spoke to Morgan she asked if the horses had papers regarding parentage and where they were from and Morgan replied yes. My daughter made sure she asked a lot of questions because it was a 5 1/2 hour trip one way and wanted to make sure our trip with horse trailer would not be wasted. My daughter has 22 years of experience with horses. Training them and giving instruction to children and adults. When we got there Morgan showed us Batman which is the one my daughter really wanted. Now mind you her ad said they loaded on a trailer, bathed and good for farrier. But when I went to pick up Batman back foot he struck out with it. She also said she had another horse that was 2 1/2 that she did not market yet named Chrome. We looked at Chrome and noticed that he was very attached to a mare but had been weaned. He was not people friendly. So my daughter decided she really wanted the Batman horse and we then went to load him and the only way they could load him was by two of her men picking him up from the rear and pushing him into the trailer. Morgan proceeded to make many excuses for our trailer that he would only load on an open stock trailer. Before we loaded the horse my daughter signed her contract with 3 additional payments after an initial deposit. We then noticed that the health certificate and coggins said Batman was 6 years old. Well Morgan proceeds to tell us that the doctor in Canada got the horses mixed up and he was definitely not 6 years old. Our first mistake....we trusted her answer. So we returned home and let Batman settle in for the nite. The next day my daughter stared working with Batman only to find out he was introverted, he did not bath and we could not handle his feet. My farrier even tried with no success. She then gave us some tips to working with him so she could trim him next time she was out. We also noticed a large lump on his neck many many scabs and sores in his coat and bots in his mane. He was a mess. His feet were horrible. But my daughter continued to love him and patiently teach him. He learned to trust her. She finally could bath him, groom him, fly spray him and he was letting her pick up his feet. All the while we had him on a weight gain program after consulting our vet. He got grain in the morning with orchard alfalfa hay, at lunch he got soaked alfalfa and more hay and the grain for dinner and more hay and evening hay. At about three weeks we had our vet out for spring shots and coggins. Along with my daughters horse and my horse I also had a boarders horse at my barn. Upon arrival my daughter had our vet look at Batman and literally the first words out of his mouth were this horse is between 5 and 7 years old. My daughter was In shock. She then walked away in tears. The vet said he had his canine teeth in and those usually come in between 5 and 7 years of age. My daughter immediately called Morgan and told her what the vet said and she said it was impossible so we put the vet on the phone with her and she proceeded to say it's your opinion to the vet and the vet (of 40 years experience) said no it's a fact. The vet also said her lack of information regarding the breeders most likely meant these were PMU horses from Canada. So Morgan then offered to take Batman back and said we could pick up Chrome. So my daughter agreed. Meanwhile we contacted an attorney and he advised us to do the exchange and said her ad was a red flag in itself and the contract was written so she could say the horse was purple and get away with it. So we knew we needed to be done with this most dishonest person. Upon arrival at Feelgood Farm we unloaded Batman (now known as lil blacky) and proceeded to let her know all the wonderful things that Batman learned in the 3 weeks we had him but she spoke over us and showed no interests . So we then did the bill of sale paperwork and final money. Mind you we had Chrome vetted to make sure he was 2 1/2 years old and he is! When we went to load him her incompetent staff loaded him on our trailer with much resistance from the young horse. All was fine in the end but was scarey. Chrome made a wonderful transformation in 24 hours of patient handling and is now bathed, fly sprayed, picks up feet and lunges. All within a weeks time. LESSON: Morgan tried to sell a 6 year old as a two year old. Very dishonest! Her advertisement was extremely misleading and untrue! BUYER BEWARE!!! You must VET ANY AND ALL HORSES FROM THIS FARM. DO NOT USE HER VET read more

When we arrived, the staff was distracted by responding to a personal text message to the daughters boyfriend. He is a brain surgeon. Her last bf didn't have his shit together, but he had a hot body. New bf has his shit together though. They were going to invited him out to dinner that night, and possibly his parents. This took up so much time, and we didn't need to know about any of it. If they would have focused on selling a horse, they may have. Even though we didn't "have a great budget". Do you really think people that travel six hours(one way) to your farm to look at horses, don't have the funds to increase their budget if they saw something worthy?? Pushing a mare you need to get rid of so you could bring in a training client is not the way to raise a budget, nor is bringing out dirty or foot sore horses. Showing professionalism and not going over your daughters dating life would have been a great start to making a decent sale to a nice home. Beautiful farm, horses could be great, lack of professionalism lost a sale. read more

Don't know about their training program, but this is NOT a place to buy a horse from. Every advertisement sounds awesome, but they essentially flip horses overnight, have no way of actually knowing the condition of their for-sale horses, they do not take any responsibility for what they sell, and you could end up with a blind, non-rideable horse (as I did). Stay far away from this place. read more
