During my visit, I fell in love with a fluffy little girl. I had already decided to buy her, but I wanted to follow the basic steps that responsible owners recommend. I asked about her vaccinations and about the health testing of the parents. The staff told me that all of their puppies come from small local families here in Virginia, that the families vaccinate before shipment, and that they only breed from healthy parents. I felt reassured and excited. To be safe, I asked to see her paperwork. I was told earlier that everything was local, so this was supposed to be a simple confirmation. Instead, the papers said she was bred in Missouri. I asked the salesperson how Missouri counted as "local to Virginia" and why he had told me the exact opposite. He said he got confused. That explanation made no sense. I pointed out that he had spoken with confidence about all of their puppies coming from local families, and yet the paperwork showed something completely different. At that point, I could not trust a single thing I had been told. If you are thinking about buying a puppy from here, look at the paperwork yourself before you make any decision. Do not rely on what the staff tells you. My experience showed me that what they say and what is written on the documents are two very different things.

Catnificent Cattery - Ellie

Vlada provided me some goodies to get us going, and because of traffic, it took over 4 hours to get home. She slept and just looked around - no crying, no problems. She is 7 months old today (10/19/25), and is PRECIOUS. I am NOT a cat person - I am a dog person, but I have fallen hard for my Ellie. We experienced ZERO of the horror stories I have heard about kittens and cats. No accidents - she was already litter box trained. No scratching on furniture - she was scratch post trained but she's not really a big scratcher. She has the sweetest meow when she wants something, but it's never annoying or too often. She loves going "outside" (on a leash of course - she is completely an indoor cat) where we go to the mailbox and I brush her. She loves going "bye bye" in her cat backpack - she travels beautifully. Not once has she bitten or scratched - not even accidentally. She is definitely not a lap cat - she will not even sit in my lap for a moment, but she loves being held and kissed and snuggled as I am walking around. She likes to be near us, but she is never overbearing or clingy. A funny quirk: she is very hot natured - she loves being cool so she sits in front of air vents sometimes and has no interest in being anywhere near or on a blanket. Thank goodness we have hardwood and ceramic tile flooring for her! I have taught her to sit and come. And her favorite play includes wand toys and those little 1 inch pom balls. She loves chasing them all around the house, and she even brings them back to me to throw again. Also, Vlada was excellent to work with. And, my Ellie is perfectly healthy. We had her spayed last month and she recovered wonderfully.

My husband and I brought home our kitten in May of 2023 at just over three months old, and our lives changed for the best. He is the friendliest, sweetest, and cutest cat my husband and I, as well as our friends, family, and vet have ever seen. Both of us grew up with cats, but this one is different -- all in the best ways! He loves to play, cuddle, and socialize with our guests. He has so much personality for such a small creature! We are constantly laughing at his antics. Vlada was so easy to work with, communicative, prepped us for bringing him home well, and has been a joy to stay in touch with over the years. We can't imagine our lives without our sweet boy and are grateful to Catnificent Cattery! We felt the adoption process was professional, safe and healthy for the kitten and us, and have been honored to raise him and make him part of our family.

She provide me a free vet exam. I ended up wanting the 8 month old boy who was so friendly. I didn't know much about Maltese but they are absolutely lovable. Maltese like all dogs raised and trained well are so affectionate. I received a package of everything I needed to start of with. Most importantly, after my military discount, the free package of necessities, and the same day appointment, I had the breeder come out to show me how to keep my little boy as bright white and clean as when I received him. Each of the dogs I saw were bright white, well groomed, I reviewed the AKC, CKC purebred pedigree registrations, all vaccination and vet records were in order, I even asked about the cray to prove each Maltese had four to five puppies a litter. OMG, my breeder had everything available. Most of all, she when to college for and works in the veterina field. I was impressed. Also, I confirmed the champion sired dog and the champion bloodline. I WENT TO SIX BREEDERS AND DIDN'T GET ANY OF THESE SERVICES. I recommend PawshMaltese.com. She has started the few other breeders who follow her business set up. I am 100% sure they kidnapped my cat from my community and hostage her for donation and selling as a business rather than a non profit organization. Pure intention matters! I have donated to multiple organizations monthly base, raising fund for good purpose, money is not a problem for me. However, I don't want to reward bad behaviors. The missing time for my cat and the one they posted online matches and the very detailed stripes pattern matches. It's questionable that one employee said she from North Carolina, another one said she from West Virginia. I have my cat since she was born, I can recognize this cat from eye contact. Well, if you know your children, you know them by the spirit, right? I sent them many details to JUST take a look, they refused. It's not built to help ppl or animals at all. I will show how my cat look like and how sick she is now in their foster home. I'm deeply saddened and worried about her. She is territorial as a cat does. She has been a happy cat in her own home, wtf they think this is a rescue. Now I have to either kiss their ass or be assertive to fight against this negativity just to get her rescued from these horrible ppl. F that! If they don't practice as ethical as it should be, this is a big big issue! I put the photos of how my cat looked before and how she looks now in their foster homes(one with name caption) I am seriously furious and frustrated about this. If they couldn't give me an explanation why they made it so difficult to meet the cat. I have to say I will use my popularity and influence to the extreme to make things right!!!

Needless to say he lost the fight and needed emergency care. I called 4 nearby hospitals and they were booked solid. I called this facility and they promised to be ready to help upon arrival. I drove over an hour to utilize this animal hospital, staff met us at the door as promised, then quickly proceeded to treat him. They showed so much care & compassion! A few days ago, I noticed my pup refusing to walk even during nice weather days. His genitalia was dark red & inflamed. I took the voyage back to the hospital and received the same level of care that I remembered. They have an onsite pharmacy, so we went home with 3 Rx & an e-collar. He's healing slowly but surely. We have pet insurance and a wellness plan elsewhere, but I will pay out of pocket for the top tier service & 24/7 coverage that I receive here.

It felt as though profit was prioritized over patient care, particularly when dealing with elderly clients who may not fully understand medical decisions. While I was out of town, my mother-in-law brought in our family dog, Walter, after he fell and became paralyzed from the waist down. He was diagnosed with IVDD, yet no one at this hospital knew what stage he was in. After returning home and doing my own research, I determined that Walter was already at Stage 5 IVDD. I then contacted the veterinarian I work with at a different hospital. Based solely on the information I provided, she was able to conclude that Walter would most likely never walk again due to not receiving surgery in a timely manner. At no point did anyone at Columbia Pike explain the urgency of immediate surgery or that delaying it would drastically reduce his chances of recovery. Instead, we were told that three weeks of medication and strict crate rest would be sufficient. When I later called seeking clarification and guidance, the only recommendation given was to pay for an MRI to obtain more information. Additionally, despite knowing that my mother-in-law would have difficulty administering medications, no one offered basic suggestions such as using pill pockets. As a result, she resorted to giving Walter chicken nuggets to get him to take his medication--something that could have negatively impacted his health. This experience was deeply upsetting and highlights serious issues with communication, medical guidance, and patient advocacy at this clinic. If you truly love your pets and want the best for them, avoid this place at all costs. EDIT : I called 3 times today in the span of 11 hours asking for medical records and still have not received any.
