Luis is the best HVAC Tech we've ever had! Feel Good Air Conditioning was professional, helpful, very knowledgeable. We bought our home 58 days before the AC went out and needed replacing. Luis took the time to explain everything - all the why's and how's. During this process of replacing our HVAC system, Dolores was also very helpful explaining the process as we were using a warranty company, along with helping to set our expectations regarding time, etc. we consider ourselves very fortunate to have dealt with Feel Good Air Conditioning. My experience at feel good air-conditioning was excellent super efficient quick and family oriented

They were awful. They came into my home, worked in my house and on my air conditioning unit but refused to put in writing exactly what thy did, because my home warranty program requested the service. "You'll have to get the paperwork from them." Their representative did not speak english so a company staff member was required to interpret in Spanish, on the phone. I was not comfortable all my concerns were understood. After trying only one of many contact numbers he left without telling me his findings. I left multiple messages for over an hour until a woman finally answered. She actually claimed they didn't have to tell me a thing, they worked for the warranty company, not me! Then "as a courtesy " she said they had to add Freon " because it naturally evaporated" and everything was working fine now. More than half of the Freon was replaced. It was not a problem just a year ago when it was tuned up. According to two A/C repair facilities the significant loss had to be due to a leak. By offering a temporary fix all they did was look out for the warranty company's needs, not the clients. In the coming weeks the same problem is sure to reoccur or worsen, while possibly exposing me, my family, pets and the environment to a toxic chemical. They were anything but a "feel good" company. Luis of Feel Good Air Conditioning inspected our A/C and then told our home warranty company that our 18 year old air conditioner "had been repaired before" and therefore the failure of the coil was a "pre-existing condition." They then chose not to pay for its replacement. We are now trying to get them to fulfill their responsibilities under the warranty. Apparently, contractors who do work for home warranty companies routinely do this. I don't know about that, but I do know that is what Feel Good does. Don't use them. read more

Luis has taken care of my 40 year-old house for several years! He is great at explaining what is working and what isn't. He helped me to keep my unit limping along until I could afford to replace it. I think he bought me at least 4 years! Today he is replacing the unit and I am so glad! He never tries to sugar-coat and gives you a fair (if not conservative) time frame. Luis and the other technicians with Feel Good Air Conditioning are the best! They were sent to one of my homes via the Home Warranty and we were impressed with their work and timeliness. When my very old unit broke for good, we asked for them to come out and replace it and again they did and amazing job. Today, they came out to our second home to replace an ancient unit that has not worked for a couple of years. This company is always courteous and provides outstanding service. After a referral from First American Home Warranty, Luis from Feel Good AC came out and said a new AC unit was needed. He ordered a new one which turned out to be smaller than the old one. He charged $1,000 for installation, as well as modifications that were nowhere to be found (unless you count about 3 yards of tape and a 6 inch wide piece of sheet metal a $1,000 modification) in order to accommodate the improperly sized unit. Now the coil freezes up because the AC unit is too narrow, so there's not enough airflow through it. Because of this, the AC blows hot air during the not so comfortable summer afternoons. I would have not known about these issues until another company came to see why the AC was not working properly. To fix the problem, I need to buy another AC unit and pay for the installation. Do yourself a favor. If you have a problem with your AC, and you prefer not to spend money twice over fixing it, talk to literally any other person other than Luis from Feel Good AC. read more

This company was selected by my insurance company to repair my A/C unit but they called themselves LV Construction. It turns out, they're the same company. Luis waved his hand over the outside unit and said "It's blowing hot air. It's fine". I was a little surprised so I asked him to check further. He went inside, waved his hand over a vent and said "It's blowing cold air. It's fine". I was pretty perturbed by this point so he tried to convince me that the temperature inside my home was 73 degrees and not 82. He said my thermostat was defective. I told him to get out. Now a week later, a real A/C technician came out to fix my A/C unit. He had to replace the "Run Capacitor" and "Contacter"for the compressor because they were both bad. Worst of all, the power box was all burned up and melted inside because the bad parts caused it to run so hot! A fire could have started. I wonder if Luis would have waved his hand over my burned down home and pronounced it fine??? Use this company at your own risk. Then have a real technician check the work! read more

I don't understand how the bad reviews could be true. Luis from Feel Good Air Conditioning came out, fixed all of the wires to the AC that my new dogs chewed while I was at work. I think he is the owner of the company. He also helped me with a small fence I had to prevent it from happening again. Feel Good was referred to me by First American Home Warranty. They are unprofessional, poorly qualified and vindictive. All my communication except one short early call was in writing and civil so everything below is documented. Feel Good denied a permit was required to replace or renew my HVAC package unit. They also over-sized my unit based on overestimating my house size by 40%. When I pointed this out, they said it didn't matter, nor would they quantify added operating costs. Since it was a home warranty job, I accepted their revised offer in writing within two business hours for non-covered costs and the larger unit. Subsequently, I insisted on a permit and still tried to get a number on additional operating costs of the larger unit. Two days later, Feel Good reverted telling me I had not responded in a timely fashion and they could not do the job for 27 days. They also told my tenant they expected I would decline their bid. I learned from the Alliance of Construction Trades that Feel Good was unaware the City and County require permits for all new and replacement HVAC units. This behavior is clearly unprofessional and unacceptable legally (no permits) and otherwise. read more

Feel Good was referred to me by First American Home Warranty. I have used other contractors through First American, and it's hit and miss. After ready the other review about Feel Good I was nervous about letting them work on my AC but when it's 110 out, and your AC decides it needs a nap, you take what you can get. WOW! Was I impressed. Not only were they able to get me on their schedule within 48 hours of calling First American, but they actually came a day early!!! They had an opening in their schedule, and I got it with 15 min notice, but who cares? I was able to take the appointment and thrilled to do so. When Luis Vargas got here, he was calm, professional, and caring. He listened to me (I was NOT calm due to not a lot of sleep the night before) and accessed the problem in just a few minutes. He showed me that the capacitors had blown out. He replaced them, reminded me to change my air filters monthly NO MATTER WHAT!, actually changed my filter (due for it's monthly change), and left with a smile on his face. He was easy to talk to, didn't try to sell me anything, and gave me his card, saying, "if you need ANYTHING give me a call. We guarantee our work for 30 day per your insurance agreement". Within a couple of hours, my house was cool again, and other problems I had (a squeaking sound when the ac was on) was gone. The unit is running much more efficiently. I recommend Feel Good AC without reservation. I'm so grateful they were able to help me so quickly and professionally. read more
