    Blackened Chicken Salad

We started out with the Boo Jack rolls, which Cajun boudin, jack cheese done in wonton wrapper like an egg roll. It was great start to a late afternoon lunch. I had the blackened chicken salad which chunks of blackened chicken strawberries blueberries green apple pecans blue cheese on a bed of romaine lettuce with a raspberry vinaigrette. It was fresh light and delicious. My husband had the chicken fried sandwich. He declared it a real chicken fry. He enjoyed the gumbo immensely. For dessert we shared a sticky toffee pudding that is as good as you find in Aberdeenshire Scotland. The service is a little but they warm up front because make everything to order.

Small town feel with the nicest staff. I tried a couple appetizers and they were phenomenal. The fried mushrooms were great. The batter was delicious on both the mushrooms and the fried green tomatoes. The mushrooms were also the perfect texture. The cat fish po-boy was just alright. The lettuce was a little soggy. The Natchitoches Meat Pies did not very memorable as well. If I came back I would probably just stick to the appetizers. Overall a good place for a meal with great service.

Really nice place to eat. The old store atmosphere adds to the experience. I had the Ruben and fries, it was the best I've had. My son had the chili cheeseburger and he said it was delicious as were the fries. Wife had the shrimp and wasn't impressed. Tea was good, service was great.

Our server Grace was amazing! She made sure we had everything we needed, especially because we had kids and the kitchen was very behind. The food took an hour and a half to hit the table but it was fresh and tasty. We had the fried mushrooms with ranch, the shrimp po boy and the shrimp basket. The sides were fries and fried okra. They gave the kid's complimentary ice cream for dessert and my husband ordered bread pudding, which he said was divine! I agree. A very cute, local spot. We enjoyed the vibe, the decor and the live music. Will come again next Diamond hunting trip!

Excellent service. I especially enjoyed the central local by antique shops close to the Crater Diamond State Park. The blackened chicken salad and unsweetened latte were wonderful.

Just stopped in for a mocha and ended up ordering a crabcake po-boy with fries. Excellent! The fries are crispy on the outside and perfect on the inside. The crab cake had just the right amount of breading. Cute, unique cafe with friendly staff.

The food was delicious and served hot and fresh. The prices were amazing for the food. Me and my wife both got the Friday special: 2 enchiladas with rice and beans. I got cheese and she got the beef in flour tortillas. Man, it was good! We are from Murfreesboro, TN, and if we ever return, we will definitely return to Telingas!

We were here on a Friday after a morning of rock-washing at Crater of Diamonds and needed a reprieve from the brutal heat. I had the Ranchero Special with chicken and my dining companion had 3 street tacos - Al Pastor and carne asada. First, the staff were gracious and efficient. Our server was particularly attentive while not being intrusive. The decor might seem gaudy, but I've seen similar at other Mexican restaurants with excellent food. It was a nice change of atmosphere after having spent a couple hours in gray, dust-brown troughs of mud and gravel, shoveling piles of rocks into a bucket to be washed in a vat of murky gritty water. Some reviewers have said the salsa was just plain tomatoey, but I really liked it -- it had some light heat and is similar to what I've had at many Arizona Sonoran-style Mexican restaurants. Maybe those reviewers were expecting jars of Chi Chi's or Pace-not-"made in New York City!?"-Picante. The Ranchero Special was fine. The flavor profile was a little one dimensional, particularly with their white queso on it. The sliced tomatoes added a bit of acidic balance to that. My dining companion said her corn tortilla street tacos were pretty tasty. The pork in the al pastor had a little fat in it, but there were also a few good chunks of sautéed pineapple there. We also had a limonado drink which was very refreshing and delicious. Overall, a good place to have a meal if you're in Murfreesboro, AR and have nowhere else to go.
