They have a few outdoor seating options, but to my delight they actually let us eat in the restaurant! This was a lovely suprise that we didn't have to dine out in the heat. On top of enjoying the air conditioning, I was finally able to get a real southern style meal! I ordered the fried fish and shrimp with mashed potatoes and gumbo. Everything was tasty and exactly what I have been trying to get on my road trip. The staff was great and the restaurant was quiet. After a Walmart run, my 16-year-old requested Sonic because we don't have one back home and she LOVES their Blue Raspberry Slush with Nerds. Honestly, it had become part of her Arkansas wish list before we even left for vacation. This location doesn't have a traditional drive-thru, only the classic pull-in stalls with carhop service, which honestly added to the nostalgic old-school Sonic feel. Service was fast, staff was friendly, and our order was exactly right. We kept it simple with drinks, snacks, and a pretzel, but sometimes those random late-night snack runs become some of the favorite memories from a trip. Nothing over-the-top fancy here -- just a well-run Sonic with friendly employees and the classic drive-in vibe people expect.
