I drop packages off with prepaid labels here all the time, Service isn't bad, but it's also not stellar. It is easy to get your package scanned for check in, get a receipt, and be on the way. I haven't used any of their other services so I can't comment on them. Since they are located in a shopping plaza, parking is ample and easy. Better than USPS, but about equal to UPS. read more

If your on-line purchase is going to use FedEx to deliver your product, contact the seller and DEMAND they use another delivery courier!! FedEx corporate is bad enough but this local office is INCOMPETENT!! I ordered several things from Wayfair. I put a "vacation hold" with FedEx on deliveries, expiring on Friday, 20 September, 2024. On Friday, NOTHING got delivered. When I called the local office (Tampa), a manager told me that they interpreted the vacation hold to be THROUGH 20 September, not ending at midnight on 20 September. So, he assured me, everything they held would be delivered the following day (Saturday, 21 SEP, 2024). Tracking indicated 2 of the 4 pieces were out for delivery on the morning of 21 SEP. The other 2 were still showing "delivery exception." Calls to FedEx corporate ensured us (Wayfair and I) that all 4 pieces were out for delivery and would be delivered before 2:00PM, when I had an assembly appointment. Well, by 2:45PM nothing had been delivered so Wayfair cancelled my assembly appointment. At 2:52PM ONE of the pieces arrived. As I sit here at 6:32PM, one other piece says "out for delivery" and the other 2 say "delivery exception." Will I get the "out for delivery" one? I doubt it. Will I EVER get the "delivery exception" ones? Who knows, but under NO circumstances use FedEx for your on-line deliveries if you live in the Tampa area! read more

Had to come into this facility today to drop off a package for a return for something I had ordered. They have plenty of parking available and this place is convenient to where I work so I was able to stop in on my way home since they are open late. There was a line of about 4 people when I entered and only 1 clerk working the front. The clerk seemed agitated and was very short with some of the folks ahead of me to the point where I was raising my brows lol. Another person did come out and help out who was much friendlier and made the line move ally quicker. read more

FedEx was suppose to deliver my package today, however claimed I wasn't home when they "attempted" to delivery my package at 11:43. They never even walked to my door, let along knocked. I've not only been home all day, but have a dog who goes nuts when someone is at the door. Chances are the delivery person either went to the wrong address, or just didn't try. FedEx has a specialized shipping center located along Waters Avenue near the intersection of Anderson Road. This ship center is open to the public, and it's the perfect place to take oversized parcels or things which need to be dropped off after 6pm. The center is open Monday - Friday 8:30am - 8pm, and Saturdays from 9am - 4:30pm. I had two oversized trade show shipping containers totaling 100 pounds, and I wanted to ship them via FedEx Ground for delivery later in the week. I pulled right up to the Ship Center, unloaded the containers and wheeled them to the front door where one of the helpful FedEx agents held the door for me. She provided the correct ground transport forms, and then helped me to affix hanger tags to the display cases. She had one of the guys come out from the warehouse to hoist the containers up onto the scale, and then he wheeled them into the back. I found the employees to be exceptionally courteous and helpful, and the entire process to be quite simple. It's definitely worth coming to this Ship Center if you are sending a larger parcel which might need specialized handling. read more

I'd like to commend the lady by the counter that helped me with my package today. I had my diploma sent to me from the Philippines about a week ago. Due to work schedule, I wasn't able to get the package when the mailman arrived which needed my signature. They made 3 attempts to deliver it but on all attempts, I wasn't home. Turns out that after 3 attempts, they send it back to the sender and the sender will have to pay thr necessary amount again. A few days ago, fed-ex called my grandma in the Philippines to inform her that they will be sending the package back to her if I don't pick it up by Dec 11. In panick mode, I called them immediately and informed them that I will be picking up the package on Dec 10, Saturday. Come today, Dec 10, I called before I left home just to inform them that I will be stopping by to pick up my package. To my shock, the representative I talked to told me that my package is already on the way back to the Philippines. I reiterated the agreement I had with fed-ex when I called a few days back that they will be keeping my package until the 11th but he said that they couldn't keep it any longer and had to send it back. To my dismay, I hurried to the fed-ex location ready to start a fight. The lady by the counter told me the same thing after checking my package information from their system- that my package is already being shipped back to the Philippines. Fortunately, she was very kind and was very proficient in her job that despite the information that was being relayed from the computer, she double checked at their storage room and found my package hidden somewhere in there. If it were not for her professionalism, my package would have been sent back to the Philippines. Thank you so much! You know who you are! read more

Truthfully, this I'd my first experience with Fed Ex. I dropped my cell phone and they overnighted me a new one. Long story short I had to return the phone I dropped. My company sent the replacement via Fed Ex with a pre-paid label to return the old phone. I pulled up and there was only 1 other customer. I am used to my regular UPS store where they package and do everything for me, so I was out of my element. The one employee was really nice and efficient Instead of making me buy a shipping container, she knew how to re-use the original. She gave me my receipt and explained about the tracking... She was very helpful and pleasant. What's a girl to do? I learned Fed Ex is cheaper than UPS. read more

This is the worst FedEx office I've ever been to. Only one person in line in front of me, and two employees working the counter, and yet it still took 30 min just to mail a simple package (for the person at the counter and the gentleman in front of me). Then I find out the package they called and told me to come get, isn't at this facility but they aren't sure where it is. In this day and age, everything is tracked electronically and it's hard to understand how there can be so much confusion. read more

I was expecting a package to be delivered overnight as it contained an item I needed immediately for health reasons. I was home all day awaiting this package only to track my package and see that they claimed to have knocked on my door and attempted to give me my package but said that no one was home to answer the door. This is completely false as I was home all day, most of the time spent in my living room right near my front door, and no one knocked or appeared to be at my doorstep at all. I have a dog as well that barks at everyone at the door and he did not bark at all today. This is super frustrating as I now have to wait for 2 days to receive this urgent package due to an ignorant error on the delivery drivers side. I will definitely NOT be using FedEx service ever again as this type of service is unacceptable, especially considering the price of shipment. Horrible costumer service from the service desk at this facility. 1 out of 5 shipments to my business are always delayed or lost, I receive shipments daily at our business! The fed ex drivers and management are great, they have always tried to help with delayed packages or ones that cannot be found, Which is the only reason for the second star. The employees at this facility in the front are just rude, non caring individuals. They have no interest in helping customers out in any challenging situations. After being hung up on by one of these women at the front service area, I decided to change most of my shipments to be carried through UPS.
