They forged my signature and dropped the box in front of my door in a black plastic bag. Opened the bag the box is soaking wet and smelled like vinegar. Took it back to the post office the next day and explained to the supervisor, it was delivered signature required I never signed and presented her the box inside the plastic bag. She whispered to the teller "those are MTA uniforms" then tells me they had an entire shipment of boxes that came to them wet. Yet instead of sending them back and saying it was damaged in transit they decided to send them to me. Because of my connections I called another post office and had them run the tracking number and I was told "someone signed it as if they were you and they spelled your first name wrong" . Isn't that a federal offense? The supervisor sent it back "refused" so, now I have to call the uniform company and tell them what happened and let them know to look out for the damaged box and to resend the uniforms to me once they receive the package. I have so many horror stories from this post office including my income tax check never made it to me and it was cashed. IRS did an investigation sent me another check. That one was cashed too but, yet it made it to the post office both times. I'm over them.

Being able to have all of my UPS shipments held at this location so I could go and pick it up is convenient for me especially if its a valuable shipment. I also mostly rather have my shipments held here because what happens often (verified by a few drivers) is that the tracking update will say something like attempted delivery and it'll be rescheduled for another day when I was clearly home all day in the first place. Now I could cut all that down and just go the UPS facility, show my ID, and boom instant relief from getting my stuff. Their hours are a bit strange. Wish they would open earlier for customers but I'm sure there's a reason for that. They are open late though for those coming home from work. Until something terrible happens I will keep on visiting this place!
