They repeatedly mis-deliver packages to other residences and lose packages in route and provide no method to fix anything. They are completely impossible to contact. Their "chat" feature is a useless AI that does not answer questions or lead to a human. Their phone number doesn't answer; just leaves callers on hold permanently. Very unfortunate to be writing a review for a shipping company. Usually I don't stoop this low or have time to write these types of reviews, but this one was unacceptable. It's currently January which means Christmas was a month ago and for those of you that live away from family, you can understand the tough holiday stress of shipping packages to and from family. Well on Saturday my family sent me the remaining Christmas gifts that I was eager to receive and the estimated arrival date was Thursday - great, I can work with that. Well, I work to afford a living and the package was addressed to my gated community with my apartment number on it also. Expecting them to deliver it to my door is too much to ask apparently. The package was too large to fit inside the mail box and the parcel locker too, so what did the FedEx delivery driver do? They left it on the counter unsecured in a mail room with no cameras on top of a trash can. There are a lot of words I said but the one that kept coming back was "incompetent." Imagine this is your package and that's how you want it left? How ignorant of a worker to leave a package that had valued belongings in it to leave it out in the open unsecured. The driver was too lazy to walk 30 feet to the left and hand it to the main office. Unbelievable. Waiting for FedEx to accept my claim. I hope they make this right. Trash. Absolute garbage. The fact that I had to take a day off of work so that I could receive a package that required a signature since their estimated time of delivery was a FOUR HOUR WINDOW is ridiculous enough. To top it off, an hour after the end of the window, I not only didn't receive an update but when I checked it said that the time was unknown but the date was promised and final. So I waited. It is now five hours later and guess what... it's STILL sitting in the Phoenix office. 24 hours after it arrived there waiting for delivery. To say that FedEx employees in Phoenix are abysmal is a compliment. Every single one I've ever had the displeasure of coming into contact with was high out of their minds and couldn't tell their left hand from their right it there was a million dollars on the line. I will not purchase any items from a store that uses Fed Ex for delivery. They are horrible. I love Chewys but will no longer buy from them. My dogs medicines are broken open. The prescription dog food is thrown over the 3 ft. Fence instead of brought to door. Every delivery is left next to the street. I shipped a pkd to black canyon city. The driver sent a delivery notice to some other place.24hrs ago. I notified them immediately after but u can't get thru. U get the 800 number with excuses. They tell me they can't contact phoenix or the driver. I've called hourly since then. It's been 24 hours so I can only assume these drivers are stealing. Never again will I use fed ex. Cant wait till I come there next month and go personally to speak to the driver. They give u no info even tho they have gps and know exactly where it went. read more

FedEx must hire thieves and liars. They assume to be above reproach and maybe they are. They say they deliver packages that never arrive. As a consummer you deal with a virtual assistant. You leave your number but they never return your call. They know who these delivery drivers are that are accused of failing to delivery but they dont do a thing about it. Poorly run FedEx location at 43rd Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona.. I got a promised delivery date of 6 May 2031. Then I received a delivery date of 8 May 2021. FedEx is one of the worst shipping company there is. I had an envelope to be delivered today and I was home all day. The driver was not able to driver the envelope because there was no one one(I was home all day). I was able to talk to a Supervisor and had the envelope redelivered. I got the envelope and while I gave the thing that you sign to the driver, he said in a sarcastic way "you're welcome" without me even saying thank you. I called and complained again and talked to a Tyler, very unprofessional and accusatory. No wonder I don't use them nor friends use them. Unfortunately, j have friends who are pilots for FedEx. FedEx delivery for items ordered from companies is AWFUL. Many shipments coming to me take weeks to get to me, arrival dates shift and delivery instructions are ignored. My last expensive item was left sitting on my porch waiting for a porch pirate to steal it when I left instructions to drop it off at Fed Ex drop off location. Additionally, the company I bought from (Wayfair) promised 2 day delivery which moved to a 4 day delivery, and then actually was delivery 6 days after being ordered. My package was coming from Cal. to Az, yet cycled through 6 states, including Ohio and Tenn. The companies using Fed Ex need to find a better alternative.....oh, I just found out that it gets worse. My shipment was in two boxes and one box ended up on my doorstep and the other ended up at the shipment center (same tracking number)...Fedex your service is the worst. read more

Left boxes at bus top next door to our home rather than in our yard or let alone near front door. Christmas gifts inside box were of course stolen. Also, another time driver simply pulled up and placed attempted delivery sticker on mailbox while we were home with our gate open. It was time sensitive and we paid for express shipping. Couldn't get item delivered for 3 more days. Another item arrived with FedEx box wide open and item inside damaged and out of vendors packaging. Terrible service! The express delivery driver said it was a bad address. It was the correct address. I was told it would be resent but it wasn't. Then told it would be sent the next day. But wasn't I finally had to drive 27 miles to pick it up at their depot in Phoenix. This is the second time we have had this problem. I have never had a problem with UPS, USPS, DHL, Amazon or even Fedex ground. Just Fedex overnight. Horrible just use UPS if your in a hurry. If you use this location often, pls help us complain to their corporate office by calling 1-800-463-3339. This location repeatedly uses only 1 employee in the front to process customers which causes other customers to wait in line outside in the summer heat for an average of 30 mins. Now with the virus restrictions they only allow 4 customers at a time inside the lobby, so the others are stuck outside in the heat. They do not help the one employee working in the front even when they see the long lines. Also, they let their employees park in the customer lot so it is very hard to find parking read more

Typical poor management and no customer service remedy. Package was sent to be delivered from CA to Phoenix with a delivery confirmation text of 12/11. Since the package was sent ground - on 12/12 the status was changed to "Pending" and in speaking with a customer service agent today could not even obtain assistance from the "Customer Advocacy team" and the distribution center numbers internally were not available. The package contains custom blinds and the one option proposed was to call the sender to have the file a lost package and redo the order. Not when it is a 2 week turn around for custom blinds. FedEx your no longer a preferred shipper and should be given fines for your deceptive practices to delay delivery read more

Apparently the only way you can receive a package after you missed the FedEx guy is to bring them the paper they tape to your door. I found the paper laying in the hallway of my apartment no where near my door. After, I thought I miss placed it but figured they could look me up in the system either by name or address. When I went to the store they told me without that paper or a tracking number I wouldn't receive my package. Their system was being "updated" and they could no longer search by names or addresses. (I was never given a tracking number.) So for future reference hold onto that paper for dear life or pretty much face the fact you won't ever be able to get your package from them. read more

I came to this location to ship breast milk which I have been pumping to donate. I had researched how to properly package and ship breast milk but this was the first time I was doing it. When I dropped off my package, the lady checking it in approved it and I was sure to tell her there was dry ice in there. Everything worked out well and my package was set to go out that same day. I went home and a couple hours later I got a phone call from a gentleman who said there was an issue with my package and he needed to know if there was dry ice in the package. He said if I wanted my package to go out that day, I had to call back before 6pm, which gave me one hour. I was a little frustrated but it was no big deal, I just didn't know why the girl didn't document that there was dry ice. I called the phone number and spoke with a different lady this time. I gave her my tracking number and she said she couldn't find the package. I informed her that I just dropped off the package earlier that day so it might not have been in the system. She kept asking for the tracking number to make sure it was entered in properly, and put me on hold a few times, when she finally came back and transferred me to another person. This lady said the packaging was incorrect and that I couldn't mail it as it was presented. She said I had to come by this location and purchase a box to place the styrofoam cooler in. A little irritating but I made it there in time. I ended up speaking with the man who called me and he brought my package over and said, "We can't ship it in this type of cooler. You have to buy a different cooler to ship it in." He said I had to do so and bring it back tomorrow. I asked him why somebody else accepted it as is, knowing dry ice was in it. I also asked him why the last person I spoke to said I had to buy a box to put it in. He didn't give me an answer to either. All he did was say I needed a new cooler. I told him this was my first time shipping a package like this and I didn't understand what kind of cooler he was referring to. I stated my frustration in that I just spent $30 on dry ice and was not going to have it go to waste. Also, I spent $100 to make sure this package got shipped out today, and now he was telling me to take the package home and bring it back another day. He left and got a lady from the back to come speak to me now. She told me the cooler was perfectly fine, they just had to put a special sticker on the outside displaying that there was 7kg of dry ice. Again, I was frustrated to be told something else from another person but fortunately this was a quick fix. We put the stickers on the cooler and I left. Not before the gentleman behind the counter said, "I told you we could get it out today." Not five minutes later I got a call back from the same lady and she said there was a mistake, that they thought my name was on a special list to mail dry ice and since it wasn't, I had to buy a cardboard box to put the cooler in in order to ship it. First off, why did they think I was on a special list? The "special list" is for people who regularly ship dry ice. I told the man this was my first time so wouldn't that indicate I most likely am not on this list? Second, I knew I needed a cardboard box to put the cooler in! That's what they told me in the first place on the phone! But of course, it wasn't as simple as purchasing one of their boxes in the store because "you can't ship a box with a FedEx logo" in this situation. I've never heard of that before. It was 10 minutes till close and the lady said I had to get a box from a place like Home Depot and bring it back IN TEN MINUTES if I wanted my package to go out today. I rushed to the store and found a box that would fit the cooler inside, came back, and handed it to her. Yes, I'm thankful she waited for me in the end but I'm incredibly disappointed in how poorly run that store is. No two people were on the same page. It was an unnecessarily irritating process and the staff were very condescending. I will not be coming back to this shipping center. read more

I was met by Vince -- within 5 minutes I felt compelled to tell him that he was the most unpleasant FedEx employee I'd ever encountered. I got the impression that he already knew that and that he took certain pleasure in mistreating me, his customer. Follow-up messages to the store to complain about Vince went unanswered. I noticed that my tracking showed that the delivery was attempted but I was not available or the business was closed. This is not possible because my business was open when they apparently attempted the delivery. Then I called customer service and they guaranteed that re attempt will be made by 5pm the same day. 5pm came, the package was not delivered. So apparently customer service from this company does NOT exist. I have lost 4 packages in 3 months due to their damn freaking laziness. I have a fence around my yard and they won't even open a gate and walk up to my actual door and place my packages there. NO!!! They prefer to just dump them right over the fence which is by a sidewalk on Thomas road. So if I don't catch them delivering, the packages sit out by the fence for anyone walking by to see them and then take them as they please. There's also no way to catch one of the damn drivers because by the time they pull up and I see them and go out front they are gone that quick. All they do is a freaking dump and run. They have no concern to what happens to your package after they toss it out of their truck. I would like for them to have this treatment and see how it feels to constantly loose stuff they order because the person delivering doesn't give a f*ck about the packages.
