Beau, the owner, visited us and gave an estimate that was very competitive. Throughout the move process they had very good communication. Before the move, we packed up most of the things ourselves, but Phoenix offered to have some of their office staff pack up the fragile items like dishes and art work on an hourly rate. This really helped! On the day of the move, they were on time and they brought in 10 people to pack the van and get us on our way quickly. When they moved us, they did not consolidate and transfer our things to another van, our things stayed in the same van until it reached its final destination. Workflow: - straightforward online form instead of trying to make a phone call during business hours while at work - email confirmation right after submitting form and again two days prior to the move - as described in their email, on the morning of, I received a phone call within an hour before, informing me that they were on the way - they arrived just before the scheduled time (I was their first move of the day) - I had packed the things I wanted them to move in advance, so I showed them the piles of things I wanted them to move - we signed the contract (all the things I expected + insurance option, with the default basic option as a price per weight reimbursement for any damaged items) - without even having to say much to each other they knew where to start - wrapped all the big furniture in blankets and duct tape - couch cushions were temporarily a little squished as they do during a move, but there were no damages to anything - after the move, I verified that everything had been moved and signed the post-move part of the contract Pros: - perfect workflow for a zellenial who's used to ordering things online and they magically appear - the team understood that my goal was to stay within the 3h, told me it was definitely reasonable, and were ultimately able to accomplish it - paid in cash and exactly as quoted (minus the $75 deposit) with no surprise fees and no extra charge for supplies or gas or stairs

Never in a million years did I think it would take over 4 hours for 2 movers to clear out a 2…read morebedroom apartment. I say over 4 hours because they started at 1pm and it was going on 5pm and they still haven't left my apartment. It's not even a packed 2 bedroom apartment-my daughter and me live together. First, my apartment complex is very anal: the elevator goes from the basement floor only to the 1st floor and I live on the 2nd floor. So-if you don't take the elevator that's 4 flights (10 steps each) of stairs you have to take to get to the moving truck. If you take the elevator-that's only 20 stairs (2 flights) to get to the first floor, walk out of another door and about 15 grown person steps to the elevator and boom you're on the ground floor. From there it's about 10 grown person steps to the mover's truck. If it was me and I was a mover, I would just opt for the elevator since I have several boxes and the heavy stuff would tire me out going down all those stairs.....not my movers. They chose the stair option. So- a 365 dollar 4 hour Groupon moved turned into a 685 dollar 6 and a half hour Move. The foreman's customer service was awesome and the entire time it remained that way but the 4.5 hours to clear a 2 bedroom is just beyond me.

PRICE GOUGE - Adds RIDICULOUS trumped up fees that are not in the contract. They have generic contract without any totals on it except the cost for that agreement we initially made. However, they charged me an addition $500 extra. and wouldnt take my most valuable items off the truck until I paid. Threatened me with storage fees and drove off with my valuables for 12 hours forcing me to pay the trumped up charges. When they returned, they would not deliver the heavy items into the home. The police had to them move it upstairs. CUSTOMER SERVICE - The people who do return your a call eventually are skilled scammers, and professional liars. One of the movers who is the owner of the fraudulent business denies accountability. POOR MOVING WORK ETHIC - Movers was an hour and thirty minutes late. Complained they were tired the whole time becuase this was there 5 move. They took smoke breaks, and was very, very slow. One guy stood around and waited for orders from the lead mover who is the owner. One bedroom apartment took TWO trips because they didnt pack the truck up. I later learned this was part of the time scam. I do NOT have a lot of items that would taken 6 hours to move. The mover gave me a generic receipt that looks a waiter could of written up in restaurants. In my opinion, don't think this company should be in buisnesd and should have their licenses to move people revoked. Location: This company is web based. They don't have a physical address, but there website provides a suite number. There is an apartment building at that address. There is soooo much more I can warn you about, but I hope you learn from my HORRIBLE experience and USE A REPUTABLE company. Be sure not to get in this jam.
