Couldn't deliver a package on time. Does not matter how many times you call, a live person never picks up.

Fedex, that arrow on the sign isn't them going forward, it is, as all arrows do eventually, crashing towards the earth and it's due incompetence and inefficiency. I ordered a package and paid extra for it to get overnighted. In due course I got the tracking number and saw the item was after only a day held up in their main facility. The label said there were questions from customs as to the contents. It was a shipment of shirts. I contacted the shipper who said they had been in touch with FEDEX and were told it was resolved. And for the next WEEK+ the item just sat there with the code saying there were questions from customs. I would call up and four different times were old by fedex people the matter was resolved but the package didn't move and the site didn't change. So either the phone people were lying or the web site was lying. And there was no answer when it would move. Finally on Monday the site changed and said it would be delivered on Tuesday. Great. I followed up on Tuesday morning and it was delayed because it had arrived at this location after the rucks had left on their runs. This is FEDEX itself that can't keep its own schedule which they set themselves! Between needless delays and employees that were either lying or were incompetent, there isn't a 3rd option there, I've contacted the sender and said I will not be doing any more business with them so long as they use FEDEX as their shipper. I know things happen and companies have to deal with it but FEDEX' response is either to lie to their customers or if the phone people are not lying, then they are too incompetent to enter details into their system correctly so their web site for tracking is updated. These are on FEDex. There is no excuse for the delays they inflicted on this and it's not the first time they've done this. It was all on them and the fact their badly misnamed customer service department was incapable of giving a straight answer. FEDEX just isn't worth it. Use the post office or DHL or a trained alpaca, any would do a better job than this lot. read more

Service great today. Past issues with unfriendly employee s seem to be resolved. Be aware that if someone shops to you via ded ex and asks for a signature, it is inconvenient to reschedule and inconvenient to get to the Fed ex office when they are open. Overnight with post office is much easier because the post office is close to home. read more

I purchased a dress online for a wedding and paid an extra 50.00 to have it shipped to me on time only to be told by there automated service that it would be delivered by 8pm which never happend.When I talked to a customer service rep.she told me it was delivered to an wrong address(even though she repeated my info to me on the phone).Mad,angry and disappointed is an understatement!!!!!! read more

I missed the Saturday delivery of an important item. After calling the 800# for Fedex I decided to take a chance and drive to the Fort Washington shipping center. The person at the counter was pleasant, friendly and efficient. She was a true professional. Kudos to Fedex for hiring such a good staffer! read more

This is my second time in about the 5 years that I have been using yelp to write a review. I am so impressed with Michael's service at the Fort Washington location that I feel like people should know. I called the 800 number on my FedEx door tag to see what time my package would be back at the location for me to go pick it up. After putting me on hold for a couple of minutes, the rep came back and told me that it will be there a few minutes before they close, but I can drop by and wait if I'd like to. Immediately after I hung up, I got a call from a 215 #, who was Michael. He made sure to tell me that they would not lock me out if the driver didn't show up by 7:50 with my package so I was welcomed to go in and wait. I was surprised to hear from him. A couple minutes later, he called again to ask me if I was going to be home and if I prefer that the driver come back and try to redeliver the package. I said yes, and he said he will confirm the time and call me back. As promised, I got another call from Michael stating that the driver will be at my home around 5:30pm. Around 5:20, he called again to let me know that the driver is stuck in traffic and will be at my home a little closer to 6. Talk about following up! I am impressed with the level of service, and with so many competitors in today's world, attention to detail and convenience really stand out. Thank you for your help! read more

if i could rate it lower i would horrible customer service, horrible service in all. Package required a signature some one was home between 8am-11am and 1pm - whenever. They wouldn't resend a driver. They wouldn't refund my money that i paid for overnighting the package. They wouldn't give me a number to contact the store. They offered nothing to compensate for their screw up. read more
