Management is non existent as far as problem solving in Fort Lauderdale FedEx distribution center. Drivers do exactly as they please. Delivering to who they please when they please and not delivering most of the time like today. Why Deliver the package when your Management team doesn't care of you do or not. Just scan it "tried to deliver " and never leave the FedEx truck like my driver did today. You wonder why FedEx after all these years can't get profitable???? Ill tell you why,because the drivers dictate who the company will deliver to and who they won't. overnight delivery of needed meds did not arrive. Trying to call FedEx or get an answer through their website was ridiculously difficult and unhelpful. BUT when we got to this shipping center and were able to talk to a live person, the woman who helped us was both pleasant and efficient. The worst company in America. Two weeks ago, they lost 7 boxes after taking a picture of them on a forklift. Today, tracked packages, says they are at local facility, but won't be delivered for 3 days and they must be there tomorrow. I was on phone trying to get a live person. After answering every electronic question, I was told they could not help me anymore and hung up. Now I have to trek down to the facility in hopes of finding the packages and delivery myself. Is this what we pay for? Our company switched a long time ago from Fedex to ups. They just don't care. read more

FedEx never fails to disappoint. No GPS tracking on the trucks to verify that your package was delivered to the wrong address (It WILL be) If you ever get your item and it's anywhere near the expected delivery day...And not smashed flat, you are very lucky. Whenever I have the option, I spend a few bucks more for my items to be delivered ANY OTHER WAY. Accidents and issues happen with any mail/delivery service...But with FedEx, you're almost guaranteed it will happen. read more

Worst customer service!!! A driver delivered my package(with signature) to the wrong place. A building with a completely different address. My package was coming from APPLE and I called as soon as I saw it was delivered but not to me at 3:31pm. They opened a case and I went ahead and called APPLE. APPLE advised me to call and speak to a manager because it needed to be handled right away. So this happened around 4:45. The manager was helpful and called me back after 15 minutes and told me that they did indeed ship it to the wrong location and that they were in communication with CAROL and she was having the driver pick the package back up and redeliver. This was at 5:15pm!! I was told I would receive a call back as soon as possible and the manager understood the urgency to be delivered today to the right address. Here I am cooking dinner, getting things ready for the next day of work and school for my family and I notice that it is 8pm and haven't heard anything. I call FEDEX and they state that the case was closed. Now I'm LIVID! I ask to speak to a manager. The manager states he can see everything I've said and that he doesn't know why the case was closed but that it was closed by THIS location. Well I can only assume that Carol and shitty driver just wanted to go home after a "hard" days work! How can you do that to people?! If I wouldn't have called I would have never known it was closed. No updates. Nada! Meanwhile the package Apple sent has a pretty expensive item in just some random persons possession. CAROL! NEEDS to answer for her poor customer service actions!!! This is absurd!!! You wasted a day of my time yet you couldn't take extra time to make something you messed up right!!! Now you've wasted so much of my time that I will make it a priority to make sure everyone I come in contact with will know your poor customer service and to make sure they use another company over you! read more

Not only did she decide to walk away from me with an attitude, but she did not wanna follow instructions from a supervisor that emailed her and called her to let her know I could pick up my package. Horrible place with a horrible system. Drivers never deliver packages on time. They write delivery attempted when they never come to the business location AT ALL! They never update tracking information AT ALL. Here I am waiting at my location since 10am on Black Friday for my "FedEx Priority Overnight package" to be delivered! Whats the point of paying extra fee if you don't even receive it on time. Now I would have to waste costly medication that needed to be COLD and report it to the company. Now its 4:55pm and still no package. SMH. Thank you Fedex for your horrible drivers & service. I wish I can put zero stars. Wasted my day completely waiting hours for nothing. I'm only giving 1 star because that one is required. I'm a disabled US NAVY vet and i can't travel well at this point. a perishable package was sent ( paid for 24 hour overnight delivery) and the package was listed as "tried to deliver" but they never even tried to delivered. i have a fedex box in the driveway, and came...i was home all day... no fedex truck.. so they lied about that. then my partner went to the facility to pickup. she has the exact same address on her license but they wouldn't release it to her.. i was on the phone 3 times with Fedex over the afternoon and they refused to help. read more

The FedEx driver didn't want to leave the truck to deliver the package. He wanted me to reach him instead the other way around. Even opened the house and went outside to meet him but He neglected dropping the package which he even showed it to me just because was wet outside. He said he wouldn't drop it. We would have to go to a far location to pick our package just because he didn't want to get wet. I thought dropping packages was the job of this company. Well. Here's a place to come to if you want your day ruined. Iphone day was my birthday. Like most other apple geeks, I pre-ordered and was super excited to get my new toy, following the tracking. So when I went to take a shower around 2:00 and see a door sticker-I was infuriated. I had specifically stayed home all day waiting for this package ON MY BIRTHDAY and the Fedex guy didn't even knock on my door. Trust me-my dog barks at any sound in the corridor-he would have gone nuts if someone had knocked on the door. I get it-you have a lot of deliveries today-but make an attempt. I was home. I immediately called Fedex customer service and they said I could go to the distribution center to pick it up after 5:00. boo. This is where the problems start. I walked in and presented the tag and my ID as I was instructed. The lady who was clearly in a LOVELY mood tells me I can't pick it up and they will redeliver Monday. I asked what the problem was. My ID is out of state since I'm a student and I haven't switched (nor do I plan to) to a Florida license with my current address. I had 10 pieces of mail in the car to prove my residence but evidently that wasn't good enough. She insisted it was verizon who was mandating this. I don't buy that for one second. So I called VZ to find out. The girl at VZ customer service had no idea what I was talking about. She offered to talk to the bitchy customer service lady who immediately had attitude when I was being completely rational. Like I wanted to spend my birthday at Fedex-not playing with my phone and with my friends. I then informed them I needed something done other than redelivery on Monday seeing as I have a 6am flight tomorrow to leave town for a week and any redeliver attempts (for which they won't even accept THEIR OWN signature slip) would be fruitless. And evidently I can't pick up my own packages. The only reason for the 2 stars instead of one-one agent with a brain offered to send it out on the night truck for me, only guaranteeing it before midnight but insisting they needed a warm body to sign. I got a phone call at 7:30 asking me if I would be home in 20 minutes-as I was getting ready to walk out the door. The driver was actually very prompt but gave me the third degree even as I opened my own door to sign for it. I finally got my package after a ton of hassle and was late to my birthday dinner reservation but it was worth the headache of having to deal with these people for the next 10 days. The agents at the desk of the distribution center clearly hate their jobs. Similarly to the post office-people want their stuff. However they make no attempt to be pleasant or apologize for "this is a rule, I can't control it." read more

Angela refused to provide proper service. I was asked to provide proof of my address because my ID does not have my current address, I showed her a bill and she insisted that I contact my provider to prove my address. I called at&t and she said it needed to be in writing. The at&t rep asked for her supervisor and he accepted my bill for proof of address. I spent over an hour dealing with Angela who could've helped me but for some reason she refused to. Other non-black customers were able to come in and be assisted in a matter of minutes. I was waiting for an important package wit htickets to an event for next week... the first attemp was made yesterday... i went today to pick it up at this location and they told me the package was send back... "the driver didn't find the adress"... he leaved the freaking attempt sticker on my mail box! they have the phone number of the company who send the tickets, my number, and the driver just decided to return the shipment with no reason and nobody cares... So now my package will arrive at it's origin point 2 days before the event and i won't have it befor ei get to the event... thank you fedex! like usually, if we need nothing we can count on you! last year they already dropped a package in the mud in front of my house... fedex is the worst shipping company! So now the company has to ship the ticket by air express to the hotel of the event with UPS, becasue they always deliver. i just hope i won't get the tickets too late because fedex got drivers who don't give a damn about delivering and supervisors who don't give a damn too and don't want to take a chance to do the right thing by calling the 2 phone numbers they had with the tracking... never again with fedex! EVER! they don't even try! (at least when it happened once with UPS they intercept the package on it's way back and send it back by plane to do it quicker, free of charge with a ton of appologizes, here... they don't even care...) read more

My issue isn't with this shipping center in particular. Is with the whole FedEx Department of the area. I was expecting something very import today. The sender paid for Express overnight Next day whatever so I can get my product delivered today. FedEx sent me an email saying that I should be home and sign for the delivery. I spent the whole day at home next to the door and at 3:45 PM I got an email saying that the package couldn't be delivered because nobody was at home at time of delivery. I called customer service to explained what just happened and ask them to contact the carrier to know why he/she did knocked on the door. They don't even left a notice saying they were at my place. What customer service said is they are so sorry, they would escalate my issue and they would hold my package to a FedEx office and I agreed with this but guess what, the office was closed already so now I have to wait until Monday to get my package. I needed my product for work to turn in on Monday and now I'm behind just because somebody didn't want to do his job properly and knock a damn door. read more

After dealing with problems over the years at my local Fed Ex Office ( Victoria Park) these folks were truly amazing. I was erroneously told by my local office they didn't handle shipping perishables even though I wasn't using dry ice and directed me to this branch. I also had some wrong online quotes. Geraldo the customer service person and his manager Roxanne helped me work out everything. Roxanne definitely renewed my confidence in Fed Ex. She was warm, kind and extremely knowledgeable. She recognized immediately what the problems were and clearly wanted me to be satisfied with Fed Ex service. It was a great ending to a not so great story. I'll be driving a longer distance to go to this Fed Ex office but it will definitely be worth it! read more

Everyone who works for themselves needs to know about this place and anyone who needs to ship overnight in an emergency needs to know about this place. It's hard to find, but once you find it once it's going to be a total lifesaver. It's been the cause of many a glowing annual review from people I work for when they have missed the deadline for shipping at the office and I've dropped off here...where you can get a physical receipt rather than dropping at a drop box. It is the last guaranteed shipping point in Fort Lauderdale for Fedex. Last drop off is at 8:15pm. Take I-95 to Griffin Road and take Anglers Ave north off the exit and then Left after Flossies (awesome bar, check it out) on 39th Street. There are no street lights but drive all the way to the end and the Fedex office is way back there on your left, at the end of the road . read more

Same problems, Same steps, no action taken. For years I thought that FedEx exemplified the shipping business. I thought that there was a level of professionalism that came with the added price. I know see that it's all a sham. Third time this issue has happened to me. The worst part is that it has been consecutive. I was told last time that this would be resolved and the time before then. And now I have been told the same thing. Is this some sort of game? Because I'm not catching the joke. Or maybe I'm the joke. That seems fairly accurate. The customer is the joke here fellas, let's all have a laugh at the customer's expense and time. Please just get bought out or have massive lay-offs. Horrible horrible service..It started out as a minor error on my end of forgetting to include my apt #. The driver who reports from this facility not only did not deliver the address as incorrect which forced me to have to make over ten calls to both fed ex and the shipper to correct the address which was only missing an apt# and was in fact correct. After address was finally corrected, I immediately went to pick up the package as I desperately need my contact lens which I paid to ship overnight. The person at the counter responded that the package was out for delivery... This was at 7:00 pm after tracking the package and calling the fed ex center both sources confirming that the package was at the facility. I believed the employee and was optimistic about receiving my package still. The whole time there was someone home. Upon refreshing the page minutes later I find the status changed from "delivering Monday" to "on vehicle for delivery" at 7:54pm. 6 minutes later at exactly 8:00pm, status is changed from on vehicle for delivery to "customer not available, business closed". How can a package be loaded onto a truck for delivery and the driver reach the location to find it closed in under six minutes?!! This is clearly a manipulation of the tracking system. How can a reputable carrier such as FedEx be guilty of such practice??! I know I cannot trust or rely on a company with this lack of integrity to handle items of value. If it were medicine for needed treatment, I could be going through a medical crisis right now if I was diabetic and ordered my insulin or a cancer patient getting his medication delivered. I will surely avoid using FedEx at all cost. Extremely disappointing. read more
