I order something to be delivered overnight express shipping and its been five days later and I am still waiting for my package. My building has two cameras facing the intercom the delivery guy just comes and places a door tag claiming no one is home however the cameras clearly show that HE NEVER RANG THE BELL! this has been going on since the 28th of August and today is the 31 and I am still getting the tags stating no one is home. This place beyond SUCKS!!! read more

i just don't understand...... how am i supposed to know that my delivery is here without my fedex driver ringing my apartment buzzer??????? i have been home for two days and i missed two deliveries on both days but have not once heard my apartment buzzer go off. this is insane. read more

Same experiences as others. My package never gets delivered from Fed Ex and I end up here. Terrible location and terrible customer service.

Driver lied twice about attempting delivery. So I had to spend $50 for round trip Lyft to pick up my parcel in the bloody Bronx before it was sent back to Europe. DHL and UPS are much better companies to handle your shipping needs. read more

They were asked to deliver at Lehman High School. Their records state they tried at 8 PM, 9PM and on a Saturday. Obviously they never went to school if they think that these are hours to deliver packages. It's always the same thing with them, "Pickup at Delivery Center" DISGUSTING read more

This location is ridiculously out of the way but I got my package in like 5min and it was fine

The facility itself is fine, but if you have to pick up a package and you don't have a car, I recommend going online and arranging to pick it up at a different location. The location is about a 15-20 minute walk from the subway, and it's in this isolated area full of construction and abandoned buildings. I went there in the middle of the day on a sunny Saturday and I was still creeped out. read more

I wish I could rate them a zero! They are useless, lazy, rude, unresponsive and should not be used in NYC. read more

They completely ignore any pre-signed forms or notes that let them leave the package. They dial wrong numbers or don't even dial my numbers at all upon arrival. Not sure about other FedEx offices, which may suck as well. read more

I wish I could give it a Zero Rating, or a -10. Zero Professionalism. Treat their customers like dirt. They should all get fired. They made me go through hell just to get my package. I hope they all get 10,000 times more pain than what they cause customers to go through. I have lost all respect for FedEx as a company for having such low caliber people representing it in the New York area. read more

Absolutely terrible, I can't believe this specific location manages to stay open. This one is contracted, it shouldn't give them any excuses to do less than the bare minimum but it seems to give them plenty. The drivers will lie on the tracking information to say they've delivered the package but they never showed up, and I would know after having waited at home for 2 full days and then finding online that apparently I wasn't home both days according to the driver that never even tried. Upon calling their customer service (what a joke), you're told that they will contact your driver and ask him to try delivering it to you again but a phone call to the fed ex head office would tell you that this isn't something they can even do, so basically they just lie to you to get you off the phone and then lie to you about how you weren't home and delay the delivery of a package to about 2-3 times longer than it would've taken by any other method. Literally, a snail moves faster and has more intelligence. I genuinely feel bad for Fed Ex with a location like this bringing their reputation down. Avoid this place like the plague, if someone is shipping something to you and you're in the delivery range of this office, MAKE SURE they do NOT Fed Ex it to you. read more

Zero Zero Zero stars if it were possible. The worst delivery service experiences I've ever had. Repeatedly will not receive any notice of delivery--no door tag, no note--and my package will be returned to sender without me even knowing delivery was ever attempted. When I've ordered something and know it's coming, I'll stay home just to get it, and no one buzzes the apartment or knocks on the door all day. Mysteriously, the updated online tracking shows an attempt has been made--"Customer not Available or Business Closed"--which is exceedingly frustrating, as I've stayed home just to get it. No tag left at the door, no indication anyone's ever been here. read more

Our regular Fedex delivery guys are wonderful and they know the building. They will leave your packages outside your apartment door because they know the building is safe and we all prefer that. But Fedex frequently sends other drivers to our neighborhood who make no attempt to deliver here other than putting a useless door tag on the door. UPS is vastly better because they always send the same drivers on the same routes, and those drivers are part of our community and know us. Fedex has no concept of community, or customer satisfaction. I am asking every company I do business with to delivery by UPS only. read more

Horrible! The location isn't even right on here and takes you blocks away. Calling customer service doesn't help because they don't know anything about anything and you can't call anyone else because their phones are always down. Getting lost in this area at night with creepy guys making kiss noises at me isn't worth it. Next time why don't you do your job and actually try to deliver the package instead of leaving a note outside and not even using the intercom? read more

Thanks to FedEx's screwed-up delivery system, I am unable to receive the medicine that my MS specialist prescribed for me. Even if I sit by my apartment door all day, no delivery person will show up -but online, I see that an attempt was made, and no one answered the doorbell. (Where did the delivery person go? Obviously not to my apartment!) NO STARS!!! read more

No stars! The driver leaves a door tag, next to the note that says, that I'm home! I call and complain, with in 5 mins. He's ringing my bell. I've emailed corporate. No response yet. This company care less bout the customer. Boycott Fed Ex read more

I had a package delivery "attempted" a few times without a tag being left. I would not have known if it wasn't for FedEx Delivery Manager. The 3rd or 4th time, a tag was finally left, while I was home.... The bell was never rung. I called FedEx, which resulted in this location contacting me directly, apologizing and saying they would reach out to the driver to see if they could attempt another delivery in the same day. I was told I would get a call back, which never happened. I waited two hours before I called them back, within their listed business hours, with no response. Then I only found out through the delivery manager that it was being sent back to the shipper. Now I'm without my package, with zero recourse. I hope this place is shut down. Whenever I can, I now request that my deliveries come from a different shipper/location than allow this place to handle my deliveries. read more

Avoid at all costs. This place should be shut down (as well as FedEx itself). It's a perfect example of how little fedex cares for its customers. We walked out here in the snow to this facility, which most people from Manhattan who aren't home between 9am and 5pm to sign for a package are forced to do. I checked online before leaving home and the posted opening time for Saturday was 9am--no weather advisories or late openings were mentioned. On arriving at 9:30am we were told by the building security guard that they would open at Noon. He did not even invite us in but left us outside where it was 20 degrees. While my wife and I were waiting, to more people showed up and waited with us in the cold. I called the FedEx 800 number and they didn't know anything except that the facility should open at 9am. They offered to call the branch and did, but received no answer. While four customers were waiting in the cold multiple FedEx employees showed up and walked in without acknowledging us. After staying on the line with corporate for over 30 minutes I managed to get them to put me on the line with the branch manager. The call was abysmal: me: Where are you, inside? F. Martinez, Branch manager: I'm in New Jersey. me: What? Why, the website and DOOR say you open at 9am? F. Maritnez: we open at noon today. me: Did you try to communicate that to to the outside world in any way? You have customers who showed up at the posted opening time who are watching employees walk in and are being told they can't be let in to get their packages. F. Martinez: we open at noon. We ended up having to walk away, kill two hours in the bronx, and come back. Not even the guard at the security gate had been told they were closed--WE HAD TO TELL HIM. He had been waving people through telling them they were open. Fedex has stopped caring about its customers and nothing shows that better than this branch. Take your business somewhere else. Avoid at all costs. read more

They're simply liars. Both the drivers and the staff in the center. They say there was a delivery attempt but there wasn't.

If I could put 0 stars I would, this is the third time in a row where I had to wait to get my package delivered. They keep putting down "delivery exception" , and "business closed, customer unavailable", so the question is, who determines that the customer (me) is unavailable? I was waiting for someone to either ring my bell or knock on my door. I received neither and now have to walk to go get my stuff. This needs to change, but it seems with the other reviews here that it hasn't even though it should. Maybe the manager there doesn't care, the drivers don't care or maybe their policy is not being upheld, but it seems like something is getting missed and your customers are still pissed. Pick UPS or USPS. read more

I ordered shoes from Amazon and its happening again.. I spoke to FedEx customer service and they said unfortunately this is the main office for my area and if I order anything from FedEx other than their Ground services, the order will come through here which means it'll take about a week or to receive it and you'll probably have to go all the way to 132nd street and get it yourself. read more

Horrible. I spent a $35 cab ride to get to the station to pick up my replacement IPhone just to be told that my goverment issued ID would not suffice. I was told the next day by the customer service manager that the employee (Jennifer) should have made an exception given i do not look like a criminal and had a Florida issued State Drivers License. Unorganized. Dirty. I would never go back. read more

Terrible. Legitimately missed the 1st delivery but had a door tag. 2nd and 3rd time they claim they came - left NO door tags. I was home at least one of those days so they lied. So I call the main # to find out where my package is. The following happened within 2 hours 1st rep says it's on the truck out for delivery then quickly transferred me to someone else who said it was NOT on the truck and I have to go to the Bronx by 9pm to pick it up. A final rep, within the 2 hours said that it was already on it's way back to the shipper. By the way, Fedex ground is even worse! In the past they gave away my box to someone in the lobby - who signed my name and wrote "superintendent" next to it ... I am not the super in the building and this building does not have one. Never recommend Fedex. Always UPS or USPS! read more

Never Use FEDEX! Kept on hold forever. They don't let you choose a delivery window after the first failed attempt. Ironically when you call them up to schedule a delivery window before, they say you can only do it after the first attempt. This after talking to automated messages, call hold tunes and even more incompetent customer care whos only answer is it must be a tech issue, you will have to talk to our tech team. read more

If you are going by public transit, be aware that the location is very sketchy - only go if you have to, and avoid going there after dark. Get off either at Cypress Station or take the Bx33 - walk south on St. Ann. If you go strictly by a location finder, you may think that you can walk down walnut or some other street further east but in reality the entrance is far to the west - as someone else said, a 20min walk that is. Go by car if you can. And bring an ID that they recognize (phoning ahead on this to be sure is worth the heartache) as they will turtle up and be unresponsive. They are inflexible and unhelpful if you have any situations which deviate from their scripts. If you find yourself having to go here, I highly suggest that you try to phone fedex to coax them to send it out to you again. Waiting on the phone is better than trying to go out to this hell-hole and worth a shot. read more

Will never use FedEx again for important shipments. Lets hope UPS is better. I was shipping a package from DE to my residence in NYC for my business. It was a high value package that was very deadline heavy so it was sent Priority overnight business. Thats $50. I followed online on the fedex website and it was already in the Bronx by early in the morning the day after it was sent. So far, so good. Then it sat in the Bronx from 8am onward. Guaranteed noon time delivery? Nope. I called fed-ex every hour (through online sleuthing, i found ways to get around their desperate attempts to get you to use their automated system which leads you nowhere). Each hour I got a different answer. Its still in the Bronx facility. Its not in the facility but on the truck. Its not in either location. It'll be there in an hour, nope 2 hrs, nope 1 hr. Etc Etc Etc. It finally arrived 8pm that night. Why pay $50 when it arrives so late and how do you run a business when you can't depend on packages arriving on time? Why does it take less than half the time to get from Delaware to the Bronx then it does to take from the Bronx to my home in Manhattan? Incompetence-thats why. read more

After having amazon contact fedex directly multiple times, Malcolm and Luis from the fedex customer advocacy team were able to contact the senior supervisor at this location and my package was finally delivered to my home. Another unsatisfied customer. The delivery man didn't even come into the apartment building. He left a tag that was barely filled out on the outside of the apartment building door. When I chatted online with the website fedex representative about delivery today, since the delivery man didn't even come to the door, she said all of the trucks were back at the Service Center. When I called the Service Center, they told me the package was still on the truck, and I could only pick it up at the Service Center after 6 PM. Obviously, someone was not telling the truth. I will never use FedEx again, and I'm not about to go to that service center based on the pictures and others' comments, since I live in Manhattan and would need to take public transportation. read more

Unprofessional. Drivers are lazy. They do not ring your bell, they will just leave an "attempted delivery" notice and then lie and say otherwise, even when you had been home all day waiting for the package. I'm sure the supervisor/manager is just as lazy and incompetent. read more

I've had so many horrible encounters with this location. They do not do their job properly. If they bring a package and no one is home leave the proper note so that I am then informed. Same as all the other reviews, if I could give negative stars I would. This is legitimately the worst customer service experience I've ever had. After multiple conversations with the customer care line, and multiple promises they would call and ring the doorbell when the package came, I left a note with my signed package slip asking to call, ring and if all else fails, just leave the package. Sure enough, I go outside to check and its another failed delivery attempt. After numerous transfers i spoke with station manager Juan who told me basically tough luck. When I told him how disappointed I was and that I was going to be his 20th negative review he told me he didnt care and that he would call me back, then hung up. Explains a lot. This experience was so bad, not only will I never use this location for my NYC deliveries, I will never us FedEx anywhere ever again. read more
