FedEx Augusta/Aiken is awful. Zero stars. Today I had to be home from 11-4 for a signature required delivery. At 4pm, after checking often for updates, I am notified the driver attempted delivery at 3:19! The proof photo was a blur, needless to say. And no door tag- because the guy never arrived. He lied. FedEx often frustrates but today the fraud of saying they attempted delivery when they wasted five hours of my day is too much!! read more

Received a FedEx notice that my package was delivered. I was home all day, and I had a USPS package and a UPS package delivered to my house but no package from FedEx. The FedEx tracking information stated it was left at my mailbox and had a picture of just my mailbox with NO package. I looked and there was no package anywhere, so I contacted FedEx and filed a missing package report. I contacted the shipper who I do a lot of business with, and they sent another package. Three days later I am driving home from town and find a large package leaning against my mailbox delivered by FedEx. This is not the first package that was supposably delivered but the second package that was sent by the shipper to replace it. I pulled up the tracking information and the driver stated, "left package at gated driveway" that is a LIE! I have lived here for over ten years and there has never been a gate or fence to prevent any deliveries to my house. The mailbox is over a hundred yards from my house and can hardly be seen. FedEx has always delivered to my house; this is just pure incompetence on the part of the driver, and they know they can do this because there is no accountability by FedEx. I have contacted the shipper and from this date forward all shipments will be through UPS or USPS and NOT FedEx. read more

This time waiting on a generator and it says it's been sitting there for 3 days and giving delivery times everyday that it's going to be here the same day. Never shows and still sitting there. The FedEx store on Bertram Road in Augusta, Georgia, is without doubt the worst location in the world. Staff members are rude and even outright hostile. After a very bad experience with them in 2023, I didn't go back until yesterday (Monday, 17 June 2024), and when I sent inside, nobody was there, although I could hear the worthless employees talking on the other side of the wall that separates the public lobby from the room they were in. FINALLY. a woman came out, reading a sheaf of papers, and she never once looked at me until, after her outrageous treatment of me, I reached across the desk and took my driving license from her useless hand and said that I'd go somewhere else, which I did--to the UPS store only a block away. This woman at the Bertram Road FedEx store, never bothering to stop reading whatever she was reading, condescended to act as though she just MIGHT notice me, but she never even once looked at me until, as I say, I reached across the desk and took back my driving license. When I put my carefully wrapped package onto the scales, she said--in an uppity and hostile tone, but will without looking at me--"I COULD reject this package 'cause that ain't shipping tape," referring to the duct tape with which I had carefully secured the shipping box. So I simply said, "Are you GOING to?" And, still without looking at me, she said in a hostile time, "I COULD!" To which I simply repeated, "Are you GOING to?" But rather than reply, she asked me to answer the hazardous materials questions on an electronic device that is also used for payments, so I did that. That's when she demanded my ID, so I handed over my driving license. STILL without looking at me, she stopped reading the sheaf of papers and began verifying my identity from my license. Then she said, "Is this a valid return address?" And I said, "Yes." But when she continued to ignore me--not looking at me--I reached across the counter and took my license and said, "I'll go somewhere else," and left. I went a block away to the UPS store. This outrageous incident took place between 1:00 and 1:09 p.m. EDT. Very much this SAME THING had happened about one year ago (Summer 2023), and when I got home I phoned FedEx Customer service to complain. I stupidly assumed that the problem would be taken seriously by FedEx, but yesterday's encounter made it abundantly clear that not only had the problem from 2023 not been corrected, but that it was not GOING to be corrected. Bottom line: I shall NEVER bother FedEx again. And I shall tell everybody I know NOT EVER to use FedEx for anything whatsoever. FedEx has a REAL personnel problem at the Bertram Road store in Augusta, GA, but it is clear that they do not care and do not intend to do anything about it. They had a YEAR to do something but they did nothing. What else does a would-be customer need to know about FedEx? So I'll be using DHL or UPS in the future. The FedEx corporate office has made it clear that my business is of no value to them whatsoever, so it's DHL or UPS for me from now on. read more

Negative 10. My package sitting in Augusta ga for 3 days 48 minutes away from me. They say it is on a truck for delivery everyday yet I haven't received it. 2. There is no customer service all weekend so I can't talk to anyone about the problem till Monday that makes it 5 days no package 48 minutes away from me. I have been patiently waiting for a package to be delivered to my address. So today I had an update saying my package would be delivered by 8pm and so I start watching for FedEx to come by to drop it off. Well by 7:30pm they still haven't showed up so I go and look and what do I find... I find that supposedly they attempted to deliver around 6:03pm but no delivery driver ever showed up at my address (makes about the 5ht time now). So, I go to look at the tracking updates and seen that the driver attempted to deliver to an address in Augusta (supposedly the business was closed) so I called FedEx to see what is going on with my package and get told that it was delivered to some address in Augusta. So, I get on the FedEx website to file a claim on my package only to find out that my package is being sent back to the shipper. WTH... FedEx doesn't know what they are doing. This isn't the first time that my package hasn't been delivered or late being delivered or something else being wrong to where they can't deliver. I have actually had a driver do property damage because he didn't know how to drive. Did FedEx fix what he did... No, they did not. They hum hulled around for so long that even with the claim number they can't find anything about it. So, WE had to put out over $400 to fix what a FedEx driver damaged. FedEx still to this day has not offered to reimburse for it. We have had the drivers throw packages on our vehicles (them knowing good and well it will scratch them). We have had packages get wet because drivers are too lazy to either put them in a bag (that they carry) or on my porch where it won't get wet. If you want your packages to come in on time, don't want to hunt down your package either by driving or making phone calls, and don't want damage done to your property then when you make an online order make sure you see who the shipper sends packages through or request to have a different carrier to deliver your packages. FedEx is not a good company to be carrying mail. They are sorry, they do not take responsibility for anything that happens. They tell you to file a claim on the website, but they still don't do anything about it. They have poor customer service when you call. You are in the wrong and not them, your complaint doesn't mean anything to them. They cannot understand plain ENGLISH when they are spoken too. They act like they know everything, and you know nothing even though they were not there when it (whatever happened) happened. It is a shame that a Mail carrier is so lazy and don't care enough to get someone their package to the right address on the right day undamaged. To many times does FedEx get away with poor service and poor delivery. FedEx needs to be looked into for everything they do when delivering packages and when it comes to customer service calls. read more

FedEx driver showed up at my house without a shirt on And left my package in the driveway which is 40 feet from my house. It was like the old movie with Chevy Chase where the mail man just threw the mail out the window as he drove by. Very unprofessional. read more

These folks are without a doubt have the laziest employees around. The drivers speed through the neighborhood with no regard for the public's saftey. They never ring a door bell, but sneak up to a house and then trow the package on to the porch. They lose packages on a regular basis, deliver packages that have been so damaged the boxes look like trash. The staff are a bunch of morons that have not got a clue as to what customer service means. They go up on their rates, but the service still stinks! They are idiots with out a doubt! read more

FEDEX was contracted by a shipper to deliver a package to my residence. The package never arrived. I tried to call FEDEX using the tracking number. The recording said the package was delivered. Technically, this was true. It was delivered TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. I tried calling them to no avail (I just got a recording). I had to drive to a local brick and mortar FEDEX location where the clerk hooked me up with a back-door number for a live person at an overseas customer service call center. The person reiterated that the package was delivered but to a different address than the address (my home) on the shipping invoice. She said she would start an investigation to find out why, and re-contact me within 24 hours. Three days later, I received a proforma email trelling me the investigation was complete, it (the package) was delivered, and to reach out to the seller. The email warned me not to bother responding since it was sent from an unmonitored email account. The seller (of course) said it was a FEDEX issue and told me to reach out to them. In the mean time, I'm out $75. read more

I have it on camera! Drove up to the facility, which is across town. The lady was rude, very disrespectful. received a delivery of a power lift chair today, it was left at the foot of the steps of my house. No one knocked or in any way let me know that it was out there. Luckily, it was not very heavy and we were able to get it in the house. this could have been stolen or damaged if we had not seen it as we were not expecting it until tomorrow. I could not even call to complain as there is not a phone listing except the 800 number which sent me to Asia. Hope I will never have to utilize Fed-X services again. read more

I visited the FedEx Shipping Center in Augusta, Georgia because I missed a very important package. They had friendly staff as soon as I entered through the double doors. My package was actually out for delivery again, so I was told to come back Saturday and the staff assured me that the package would be available on that day. The space is small and during the holiday season or leading up to the holiday season, the area gets kind of packed with individuals missing their packages. However, I don't think much room is needed since the service is very efficient and they get people in and out. Additionally, I used to live up the street from this location and I often utilized their services. On one particular day, I jumped out of my car (an older model vehicle that shall remain nameless) and locked my keys and phone inside while it was running. The staff was soooo helpful! They let me use the phone and let me wait inside until a locksmith arrived to help me out. I won't be in such a rush in the future, but a least I know the folks at the FedEx Shipping Center will have my back. read more

The ladies there are great, very friendly and helpful. LaMonte, helped me get some emails to print on their computer, after I had made numerous attempts at home. It took alot of her time, but she continued to help other customers while waiting for the emails to download. She is quite smart, and is a wonderful person to deal with. She makes you feel like you've known her for years. I was very stressed when I went into the store, but was relieved and uplifted when I left. If only every business was this professional and curtious, what a wonderful world this would be. read more

Fantastic service. Been going here for almost a year. Whenever my mom sends me a package from the West coast to the center they hold it for me and have it ready right when i arrive. Extremely friendly and easy to work with. It makes a huge difference when the entire staff has a positive attitude, is extremely efficient, and makes an effort to know you as a returning customer. I came to FedEx to have a package shipped back to a company that sent me damaged goods. I was highly upset at this company for this because I'm sure someone could have noticed several stains all over my item. Well after going back and forth with this company they sent me a return label via email to have it shipped back to them through FedEx. So that is what I did. I was greeted as soon as I entered the establishment. It's a extremely small business and I'm sure can get crowded pretty quick. I had to wait a few minutes because there was a customer in front of me but I was quickly waited on. The lady at the desk was very friendly and tried her best to assist me but she could not get the label to scan from my phone. She tried everything she could even inputting the label number but that didn't work either. So she suggested that I print out the label then return. This would be a task because I don't have a printer at home and I would have to go somewhere to print it. She also advised me that I could go to another location and see if they could help me. She apologized for the inconvenience and was disappointed that she couldn't fulfill my request. The customer service here is great and I would return here if I needed anything else shipped. read more
