I receive *a lot* of packages from a number of couriers and FedEx is probably the most consistent. Consistently horrible. I can count on them to always lose packages, damage packages, or being significantly delayed for literally no reason. I'm currently waiting on a package that had an original delivery date one week ago. Status is now, "we'll update your delivery date when we have a clue" (or something along those lines). And, on top of it, after a package DOES manage to make it through the labyrinth of ineptitude known as the FedEx network, it will inevitably be delivered to the wrong address. Fedex was supposed to deliver my package between 11 am-3 pm, it did not arrive then - i was then told by the end of the day - i called and was told around 7:30 pm - then I called back and was told around 8:00 pm - it's 8 pm now and it's still not here and Fedex now tells me to expect the package by 10pm. The driver is named Prince. Such poor service my dog has no food. After Fedex promising me that this package would be delivered today on 5/2 - Chewy says that Fedex changed the notation on the tracking to read: "Customer Not Available or Business Closed Recommended action: Delivery will be re-attempted the next business day." They updated this around 7 minutes ago from 9:18 pm. This is dishonest because I've been here several hours waiting for the package. My dog does not have anything to eat as a result. Fedex lied and said customer not available - which is a lie because no signature was required. They simply claimed they would deliver by the end of the business day. It looks like they pushed it to the end of the business day - all of this after an agent said he was 100% sure it would be delivered by today -now they've pushed it to the end of 5/4/2026. Awful service. Update: I called today on 5/3/2026 to complain - and the agent was rude and told me for the first time that the slated 5/2/2026 delivery was a courtesy (a delivery which did not happen)-that this item was really supposed to be delivered Tuesday next week- and I recall him denying on the phone that his company said that a delivery was attempted and that no one was home. I called back - and spoke to another agent - and he admitted that some drivers claim to attempt deliveries and claim that the customer is not available - because they get paid for what I recall him to say are seemingly multiple delivery attempts - he admitted what was happening to me was improper- he told me that the food would be delivered tommorrow morning and a supervisor would call me. FedEx needs to be held accountable. My Costco order was "delivered" at 11:02 AM, but the driver never delivered anything. Instead, they uploaded a fake photo that doesn't show a package or even my door, just a random surface. This is blatant dishonesty, and my package was clearly stolen. FedEx continues to fail. Simplest of things can't be accomplished by the incompetent FedEx employees. First of all, we hall a longer porch with the front door being about 15 feet down one side, why is it that FedEx is the ONLY delivery that leaves every package on the steps or barely on the porch, whereas every single other company can get the packages to the front door? Secondly, FedEx delivers, they drop the boxes upside down, on their side or however they want. Literally just happened 10 minutes ago. Every single time I order something and they ship it Fed Ex, I get a tracking number and a delivery date. The package NEVER comes on that date. Then it will sit, sometimes for a week or more, with the status of "we're actively trying to get you a new delivery date." When you call the customer service number and have to deal with the automated system, you say "representative" to attempt to get to to a real person, and it asks for your tracking number. So you give that, and the automated crap will give you the same tracking information that you can clearly see on the website and tell you that's all the information they have, then disconnect the call. So you can't even get to a live person. Several times my packages have been deemed "lost," or most times when they do arrive, they arrive damaged and I've had to go through a bunch of red tape to either get a replacement or a refund. This company has gone downhill and the customer service is terrible. From now on when I order anything, I'm going to request they ship UPS. Have never had ANY issues with them and packages always arrive early or right on time. I don't recommend ANYONE use Fed Ex until they get their act together or go out of business, whichever comes first. read more

Today at 11:29 A.M. on Progress Dr. in Springfield, Ohio a FedEx truck coming out of a business nearly hit my $72,000 vehicle. He was not even looking for traffic so I had to swerve and honk to not be hit by the driver. When I honked they stopped and honked back like I was the one in the wrong. Terrible service. Consistently, due to FedEx, my packages are delivered to the wrong address. It's really confusing why this keeps happening only with FedEx, as literally NO other courier (UPS, USPS, and even the Walmart delivery drivers) has any issues with finding my house...because they all type in the correct address into their GPS before making a delivery. Whereas, with FedEx, my address is consistently inputted incorrectly. Most of my issues seem to come from one driver in particular. I've never personally met Jaymela from the Madison AL location, but after having MULTIPLE packages delivered by her to the wrong addresses, I sincerely hope I never do. I contacted Fedex and explained that the photo taken off the doorstep was not the front of my house. They looked up my tracking ID. I would give them a zero. I ordered a solid wood dining table in a box unassembled. FedEx was supposed to to deliver to me inside on Saturday 02/07/2026. I waited all day but they did not show. A a few weeks later the same driver did the exact same thing, he peeled out in my grass and left a 10 foot patch of torn up grass. FedEx will not cover the stolen package.
