This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. They lost my package for 5 days and then told me they weren't going to deliver it and they would drop it off with Canada Post even though Canada Post is on strike so my medication was in there and now I can't get my meds. One of the worst companies to have your parcel with. ALL my parcels in the last 3 months have been handed over to Canada post even when the they were on strike even though they drive by my house. The supervisor on at the time of my call says It's the only company they have a contract with. So if you want a package delivered do not trust fedex. I am hoping I will never have to ship with FedEx ever again. I recently used FedEx to courier some tax receipts to my accountant in another town who is doing my annual income tax. I shipped my receipts on a Friday and they were to arrive within 3 business days. Instead, they tried to deliver my package (to a business) the next day, Saturday. Well, obviously, the accounting business is closed. They apparently left a sticker for the package to be picked up from their central location. Well, this is a busy business and can't be sending someone across town to pick it up. The business then called and requested that the package be redelivered and were told it would be delivered in 2-3 business days. Then, nothing! I had asked the receiver to contact me if the package didn't arrive by the Monday which they didn't do. I guess they trusted that the package would be redelivered within 3 business days as they were told and so didn't think of it. The receiver didn't contact me until 10 days later saying that the package had not arrived. FedEx only holds packages for 5 days. I don't know what they do if they are not picked up with 5 days. When I finally called down, they had no idea where my package was and could offer no explanation as to what happened. They offered no hope that the package would be found and delivered. They even turned down my request to have the money I paid for the service to be refunded. The loss of these receipts will cost me hundreds of dollars in income tax refund. I don't understand how I courier company can be so inept! read more

I paid $166 on April 26th from Toronto to Phoenix through Fedex for next day delivery of a light box of supplement that I purchased over the counter since my friend urgently needed it. I asked the staff multiple times that if the custom clearance time is included and got confirmed. Nobody mentioned about filing any document. If I were advised to file any document, I would not have mailed the supplement since I have no clue on how to file a custom document. And my friend would definitely not let me mail it due to the hassle of filing the document. I would have just return the supplement to the store that day. However, the signal to me is everything is fine since it is over the counter and available for purchase in the U.S. Then the small box was stuck at the custom clearance and it took Fedex a week to tell me that I need to file a prior notice to the FDA after multiple Fedex persons called me asking me to provide information during the week. I spent 2 hours reading instructions from the FDA and Fedex to file the prior notice the same day I got the email from the Fedex. My friend at that time couldn't wait for the supplement and purchased it online and got it a few days later in early May. A week after I filed the prior notice to the FDA, there was still no update on the delivery status and I called Fedex asking for an update. It took them a few days to assign an email address to me asking me to follow up with that email. And two days after I sent a complaint to that email requesting for an update, it said to be delivered in two days. It finally arrived on May 13. I filed a complaint requesting full refund and got rejected by Fedex. If Fedex advised me of filing the document in advance, I would not have mailed the item. But Fedex failed telling me and delayed many days even after it was cleared at the border. Since my friend purchased the item in the U.S. and what I sent is now useless. I cannot even return the almost $500 item since it is over 15 days. read more

This location, or maybe just Fed-ex in general is INCOMPETENT. I had a package meant to be delivered to my apartment, i received no notification on the delivery drivers arrival and instead of leaving it at the door (i didn't need to sign for it) they decided the best course of action would be to bring it back to the Fed-ex shipping centre and HOLD IT!! Like you try to deliver it once and don't try to contact the recipient in any way and decide you won't try again? I was home keep in mind, waiting, I had to check the site, and by the time it updated the driver was already gone and a note was left to pick it up. When I called the next morning around 9, the man on the phone said my package would be delivered still and they would update my delivery instructions to make it more clear they need to contact me because i live in an apartment, knocking on my door isn't going to work (WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT) and i left the call feeling better. Flash forward an HOUR, i check the site again and it's saying my package is being held at the location. Like did i not just call and was told it was on the way?? AND the lady this time on the phone said there were NO instructions left + i had to retell her what i just told the man an hour ago. She then told me it would take 24-48 hours to have it redelivered and there might be an extra charge if it's for Saturday. Charging me extra for your incompetence?? Make it make sense. This place needs to be looked into from higher staff, when i asked the lady on the phone if i could speak to someone higher she ignored it. Genuinely the worst service I have gotten from a delivery service and will be avoiding Fed-ex from now on because they are lazy + would rather u pick it up from the shipping centre than have the drivers actually do their jobs + deliver the package like they are paid to do. I brought a parcel to be mailed to a cancer patient overnight. The employees accepted the box, but FEDEX never picked it up. I paid $247 for overnight delivery but Fedex and Staples rip people off. Very very bad services. I ordered meat online that would be sent by fed ex overnight. They tried to deliver it while am out, they did not notify me, so it was a misdelivery. I kept calling them that day , I was only answered by an answering machine with limited options but no talking to representative. FedEx!! The customer service agents (spoke to two) and then a manager literally had me crying on the phone. I'm emotionally scared after dealing with them. I recommend using DHL (lovely) or any other courier I called a day prior to have my delivery address updated or to hold it so I can pickup because no one would be home for the day of delivery! They keep telling me to contact the sender because the sender (Shein) has put a restriction on the package. I went and I tried to contact shein but that's a whole other thing because you can never get to speak with anyone. I keep getting the bot. I called back on the Delivery day explaining that I updated the delivery address. They tell me that they didn't get the update and that the package was failed to be delivered at 11:20am! I then said I didn't receive a call or notification regarding this. They said that their drivers don't have a phone to use to call the customers. I tried to explained to them over and over again that I'm unable to reach Shein. To remove whatever restrictions they Saud I have on the package. FedEx was no help at all. They keep repeating the same thing over and over again I even asked if they could send it to a Staples close to the address in which I could pickup from there. They said no I need to contact Shein. I got so flustered and frustrated that there's literally nothing I could do to receive my package. The manager collected my information phone number and all just to tell me that they will try to deliver again tomorrow. I asked her if I could get a time frame because I would try to be home for that time frame to let the driver in the building. She said she can't give me a time frame and why I don't tell the receptionist or building manager to open the door for the driver. I explained to her we don't have receptionist or building manager on-site. And that a fab is needed to get in because I'm on the 5th floor. That's why I wanted to change the address or even receive a call so I could make arrangements. In in all she HANG UP THE PHONE ON ME STILL ON THE LINE without try to resolve the issue. I will try to bar all my shipments from ever going to FedEx. About 4pm I got a call from their automated system telling me that my package is waiting for pickup at Staples ‍. They just left a note downstairs saying no response and requested you to pick up the mail from their shipping center which located remotely from your address. Unbelievable the incompetence of FedEx... ordered from a third-party seller on best buy... item shipped ok... told Friday (today) delivery... received word Wednesday it would be early so Thursday (yesterday) it would arrive.. waited home all day.. no delivery.. called CS.. they said Friday.. ok then... now because my buzzer is broken at the main entry doors I added everywhere I could that I needed a text or a call when he arrived to meet him at the door... told CS also... figured np right? So all day today I wait.. no delivery.. call CS.. am told they were here but the buzzer didn't work so he left. I said I had instructions to call or text as my buzzer is broken. Told suddenly drivers don't call or text upon arrival. At all. They are not issued phones nor use there own. So... I wasted 12 hours waiting Thursday, 9 hours Friday, not knowing I'd have no chance to get my delivery anyway ... and there were multiple chances for FedEx to inform me drivers can't, don't, or won't ever call ...even if there's a situation a customer has that absolutely requires it. But not once was i told no call or text is possible. So now I have to pick it up and since my car was written off in an accident I will have to use transit an hour each way to a depot. I will never order from any business that uses FedEx again. FedEx should be ashamed at how pathetically incompetent they have appeared in my experience with them. I will be notifying the company I purchased from and also the BBB about them engaging a deliberate policy of no call or text capable delivery drivers.
