This is probably the best, most helpful and friendly UPS store I've ever been into. Twice now they have gone above and beyond to help me, one time even helping me prepare a parcel for Canada Post! I can't say enough good stuff about them. I will always use this store in the future read more

Unlike promised my package was not delivered on time and now it is missing!!!! I was given the wrong information by the owner and so I didn't call UPS immediately but waited until Monday as he suggested that the parcel would have been delivered. Now it is missing And I'm out of almost $2000 US!!!!!!! read more

The item arrived damaged and now the owner/business is taking no ownership for their mistake. The item was not packaged properly clearly hence the damage, as well I was not offered insurance on the item - standard protocol for any UPS location, especially when the items are electronics or fragile. I have been trying to get this rectified for 10 days and the management/ownership team has been absolutely horrendous to deal with. The owner is trying to take away all responsibility from him and his team for their mistake. I am now going directly to UPS Head Office and preparing a bad faith lawsuit. I would not go anywhere near this location unless you are more than comfortable with your package arriving in an awful state as well as no ownership or integrity on their end if anything goes wrong aka they make the mistake and then it's on you. The manager is extremely rude and condescending. The owner is completely rude and condescending. I do large amounts of shipping for work purposes (upwards of 5 - 6 packages a week) and this is hands down the best worst shipping provider I have ever dealt with between western Canada. Genuinely pay more to avoid this place at all costs. It is not worth the risk. I have the messages back and forth from the owner speaking about his rights as an owner... how about taking ownership over your business and when you guys clearly make a mistake (Not 1 but 2) - not offering insurance and not packaging properly, you pay for the damages you've caused. Seriously if you are in the edmonton area I would avoid this place at all costs.

Shipper got their address from the UPS website so we used it without a thought. Then this…read morefranchisee refused to accept the UPS delivery for one of our technicians (that was important). Didn't phone, didn't ask, just said no. Then when tech called them, they said they never saw it, when pressed for more info admitted they refused it and blathered on about needing $20 fee for receiving the boxes. (Even though they never called us to ask, we would have paid the $20, it was an important shipment (and even though most other UPS stores only charge $5)). UPS courier says they're investigating, but we'll see if it makes a difference. Actually we won't, we plan on staying far away from this UPS franchise. Painful

We use this company on a daily basis at work (often several times a day). I don't know what their…read morerates are, but the drivers are always friendly and reliable. There are different tiers for delivery times, like a regular is basically whenever they happen to be in that neighborhood or driving that direction (usually still the same day if you call before 2) and direct rush means they come get it and take it directly where it needs to go (more expensive I'm sure). We've only had one instance where we were delivered something that wasn't meant for us, which is a big deal for sure. But for the literally thousands of times we have used them, that's the only incident I can think of. Dispatch is very friendly and helpful. If I'm looking for an ETA, they'll always call the driver and let me know when our client can expect the driver to be there. I would highly recommend them to any business I worked with and would not hesitate to use them personally if ever there was a need. I just wish I knew how much they cost, but I'm sure you can find out by asking. Our accounting department covers that side of it.

Primarily dependant on digital print jobs as all the presses and bindery equipment are past their life expectancy. The colour from their press department is very inconsistent while the Bindery equipment is dated and badly in need of parts replacement. Improper layouts from the prepress department add extra frustration on even the simplest of jobs. The working conditions are cramped with barely enough room to move material in the production area. Low pay, coupled with the employee being expected to wear multiple hats, and poor planning on jobs are primary reasons a person should consider employment elsewhere. Dealing with an excessively moody owner who demonstrates, on a daily basis, that he has no control on his personal anger management issues resulting in his raging verbal abuse toward the employees is again a reason to avoid employment with this company. The owner's micromanaging and inconsistent instructions causes even more confusion for the employee. My mother was unsure how to do this, so I called around from my home in Gibsons BC, and talked to Shazad who assured me that he would be happy to walk her through it. He was waiting outside for her when she arrived and was so kind and put her at ease. He printed out the documents and even pointed out that she had missed a signature. I would recommend them highly, best customer service I've ever seen. I joked that he should call himself Shazam! because it was magical. My mother was so happy and calm, and the scans were emailed right away. Thank you so much Shahzad and Alberta Printers, you are great!
