I too received the termination of care letter after over a decade with Dr. Caperna. As you can see from my prior review, I really liked Dr. Caperna, but the way his change of practice was handled was very poor. Dropping patients with no warning, with no sign of compassion about the situation you're putting them in, is pretty shabby

Dr Caperna is a DICK with a "God Complex" with absolutely NO PATIENCE or "Bedside manner"…read more Instead of being able to communicate, he left the room, right in the middle of our interaction, and I was left wondering why. He comes back in about 5 minutes later only for him to show that he was frustrated interacting with me... Rather than give me a chance 'do better' or apologize, or tell me what the problem was, he again threatened to leave me in the room again by myself, as if I were a child that needed a "time out". WHAT AN ASSHOLE. If this guy has no ability to "handle" a wide variety of personalities or types of people from the community, WHAT KIND OF PATIENCE does he have for "medical practice?" I simply walked out... what a shame... I was putting all my hope in him, as I felt fragile, dealing with an ongoing issue I'd been suffering from for few years now...and he came highly recommended. SO DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED. I was so nervous just to be there, challenging the diagnosis, or lack there of from another doctor... I never expected this treatment on top of the emotional and physical pain I came in there with... He either has a sever lack of ability to listen and communicate, or all this was a rude ploy to get me out of there because he didn't really want me as a new patient... either way I wish he could have just told me so, rather than have me go through all of this turmoil. I'm glad his true colors come out on the 1st appointment and not months into it. It's a shame doctors forget they are there to help people. --Congratulations, Dr. Caperna, you earned yourself my DICKHEAD AWARD, earned in less than 10 minutes. FOLLOW-UP: The person that referred Dr Caperna to me told me that Dr Caperna apologized to HIM for "things not working out". IF DR CAPERNA WAS AN HONEST PERSON AND SINCERE, HE WOULD HAVE APOLOGIZED TO ME...

When I call, I can't get a call back. This has happened more than once. Recently I was put on a few medications and I noticed some side effects so I googled it and saw that u should not be on both. Just one of the medications did the job. I asked my new doctor about it and she agreed that I shouldn't have been on both. The message I left previous to Dr Dysart was stating I don't think I should be on both of them and no one had called me back. They just don't care anymore. I hope they read this and take this to heart.

That's when I became proactive and started searching for a holistic care to investigate what was happening with my health. Inner Path Naturopathic came highly recommended in ChatGPT, Google and Yelp. I immediately setup an appointment with Dr Judy Rosas - AN AMAZING NATUROPATHIC DOCTOR!! Fast forward, she has been treating and caring for my leaky gut condition and monitored my elimination diet project closely for a successful recovery. I've also had customized IV nutrients to enhance the recovery since I've experienced immune exhaustion due to internal inflammation. I highly recommend Dr Rosas and Dr Zand, Inner Path Naturopathic, if you are seeking a holistic care. Whenever I see him he makes certain that we touched all bases and nothing else can be done with the current visit. After seeing him for nearly 6 or 7 years, I had a life changing event and he takes even more time just to listen and make sure that he is providing the best care possible and by spending the extra minute, he once again will make sure that there isn't anything more he can do to make my life better. Although he does take insurance, he doesn't rush like most doctors to the 6 patients an hour that is required for most doctors accepting insurance. If something requires more time and attention, he will make time to help. He makes me feel comfortable about talking about even the most embarrassing issues and dealing with the situation in the most dignified manner. Finally, when he doesn't know exactly the right treatment he will refer to someone that is more knowledgeable in the field that the ailment requires. We see things the same way about drugs, meaning less is more. He doesn't have that mentality that "there isn't anything my prescription pad cannot cure". So those people "shopping" for doctors this isn't your guy for getting your fix he's a doctor, not a drug pusher/dealer.
