Popped in here randomly while passing through town. A true old school tavern vibe from the decor, bar tender and clientele. We stayed for one beer before hitting the road again. Bartender was nice enough and attentive. They have there regulars, as the bartender was playing Yahtzee with a few of them at the bar. If you're looking for a genuine midwestern tavern, than this is your spot. I can't imagine I'll ever be in Kenosha again but I'd return in the future. read more

Drinks only stop. The layout must have changed since the pool table was clearly an obstacle when we stopped in. Spilly Jim at the bar was wearing more Bud Light than we saw him drink. The bar countertop had at least half of his drink, too, and no effort was made to clean up his masterpiece. Though not crowded, the folks there were definitely deep in their cups and getting a bit rowdy. Exactly what you would expect in this town. Open very late and was crowded until a fight broke out around 2am. Enjoyed a couple drinks and darts. Obvious to me this was a local hangout. read more

I don't understand how this isn't a top 5 bar in Kenosha?! Younger crowd but still enjoyable for all adults. Pool, darts, and ping pong are all available to play. They have leagues for everything it seems like and the staff is super friendly. If you haven't stopped at Fecs's Place then you truly are missing out. Definitely recommend trying the Fec U Long Island. read more

Incredible atmosphere and a good variety of finger food including pizza. The drinks are high quality but still find some way to be less expensive than most of the surrounding area. Several pool tables, dart machines, and even a ping pong table! Bartenders were very friendly as well. A loaded juke box supplies a variety of music that you can even control from an app on your phone. Several TVs layered throughout the establishment supply an access to most major sporting games. Horrible experience. Walked in with twelve 27-year-olds. One person had an Indiana driver's license and for some reason two flashlights and a manager were needed to verify if it was real or fake. THEN, mind you, we were here for a bridal party/send off for our friend moving to England and they wouldn't let her fiancé in from the UK. The bartenders are awesome and it's a great place. However there is one bouncer that has a problem with service dogs and constantly harasses me for having my service dog with me when he is working at the door. The bouncer has demanded my dog's registration (which he knows he cannot legally ask for) and has kicked us out on one occasion, even though my service dog only lays at my feet and doesn't bother anyone. Fec's has been here forever. From the outside it looks like a typical dive bar, with its old school sign. However, its actually a pretty lively place. Lot of young people. College kids, 20 somethings, and yes some older people. But its a fun place. They have a separate room for pool, which is nice, so the other patrons don't get in the way of your game and vice versa. There are enough tvs in the place if you want to watch the game, but not too many to make it distracting. Jukebox has a good mix of new and old so you don't get the dive bar vibe of hearing the same old classic rock and country songs over and over. They understand people under 40 listen to a wider variety of music than the old people. When they have a band, the place gets packed. Prices are reasonable and they have great bar-pizza. And don't miss their annual street party pig roast in the summer. Its a benefit for wounded warriors. read more

Since Mike was my Uncle's cousin and the original Running Bear..It saddens me he isnt there now.(I was lucky enough to live downtown and see him do the Running Bear quite a few times).The juke box is the best in the planet(Old school..THANK YOU) I hope whoever is running it now doesnt put a bunch of new crap in it and ruin it with some Christina Agulara bullshit. Service is usually pretty good, decent bar tables, same with the bar food/munchies. Don't care for their policy to start a tab... you've checked my I.d. And taken a credit card. Why do you need to hold an I.d. Along with it? Doesn't make sense to me especially when not all bartenders enforce this. All in all nice place just don't like policies that are 1) silly and 2) inconsistent. read more

It was way too long to get a simple drink, and was denied service and drink taken out of hand because my sister who left before me didnt leave a tip... Ended with me being physically removed because I was denied service for my sister not leaving a tip!! Seriously? How do u know i wasnt gonna leave a tip for all of us? We take turns leaving $50 tips for a few drinks every weekend... Ur loss, not mine! read more

Drinks are strong and the crowd is diverse (All colors and all ages just looking to have some fun). Service is great and bartenders are nice and Gourgeus! The weeknights are a little slower but weekends is always packed! What else can I say? Just became my favorite Kenosha bar! :) read more

I always had a prejudice against this bar because I know people who frequented it. I was already drunk once and decided to stop in. Couldn't even move it was so crowded, everything was rude including customers and staff. It was also dirty. Won't go back. read more
