I need them to finish some other areas left half finished by the contractor as well. If a contractor who does your roof only interleaves new shingles over valleys in the roof but does not put a vapor barrier down underneath it with a metal cap or cap the edges of the roof with 3 inch layer of metal, you are being screwed over! I have seen many new homes built this way and they will all need to be serviced at some point because of it. These do not comply with best practices in roofing or the building codes for the county, most importantly of all these are improper means of building a roof in the PNW, one of the dampest and most snow laden areas of North America. I had to call in NSS because of contractor negligence.

We opted for Busy Boys because we were impressed with Mike's thoroughness and attention to detail. We took three quotes and his was the middle one but we would have choosen him even if he came in on top. Once the work started, his crew was on time and they were good solid workers. Most of the roof was redone on the first day. We had an aging skylight and Mike recommended it be replace. He was also an authorized installer for that brand. I wish we had had him do the initial install 20 years ago. It was done so quickly and efficiently. We had to compliment the crew for their clean-up. Our deck was cleaner after they were done than it had been. A bit of trash had fallen in our neighbours yard and that was also taken care of. On the final inspection, we noticed a metal bracket sticking up on the corner of the roof and asked Mike about it. To direct rainwater run-off into our gutters. Very nice. Don't hire these guys. I recommend NOT hiring Pedro and Peter, the franchisee supervisor and owner,…read moreof the Shack Shine franchise in the Fraser Valley. Last week I hired Pedro and Peter's Shack Shine franchise to wash the interior and exterior windows of my 2300 sq. ft. house, for a considerable price. The two technicians that Pedro left on site were polite and responsive to my concerns. However, the two window washing techs were not experienced or trained enough to perform the service to the quality of what any homeowner would expect for a nearly $1,000 job. During their time on-site I noticed and had to bring to their attention entire windows, hard to access windows, and screens that had been entirely missed, screens that were not replaced, and spots that were attempted and left, and streaks and water spots that remained on the exterior windows and simply left behind. The worst aspect of the entire experience was with Pedro the manager himself. I attempted to deal with Pedro directly by texting him during the service provision letting him know that quality control was needed and that he should return to the house. All Pedro replied was that he was in touch with the window washers, he assured that I would be satisfied with the quality, and said he would not be returning. After that response Pedro ghosted me on the text string and did not respond to any further texts. With a house photographer due to arrive at my home I was forced to spend the next 60+ minutes walking around the home repeatedly and coaching the two window washers myself to complete the windows to a satisfactory level. I asked for a discount to account for my time that it took me to direct and coach Pedro's employees. I might have been satisfied with a $100-150 discount. But, between Pedro and Peter the franchise owner, all I was offered was $25 for my negative experience. Neither Pedro by text afterwards, nor Peter over the phone a week later, would back down and resolve the situation to my satisfaction. They both simply made excuses such as "no one should have to supervise their own job, you may have misunderstood our process," and from Peter, "we never leave a supervisor on the job, the technicians on the job are qualified." I hope Brian Scudamore the CEO of Shack Shine reads this review. He should not be impressed. Like I said, I don't recommend hiring these guys.

Shortly after complaining to the Pro Grass company about their workers urinating behind the garage.. at least that's what it looked like... and the fact that when they turned around it was obvious they were putting Mr Winky back in his hiding place; anyway.. after that complaint they started blowing all the yard debris onto my front porch area. This is sooooo unprofessional. I would not recommend Pro Grass for any business especially if there are young.. and older.. children running around.. which there are and were plenty when the obscene displays were happening. I cannot stress enough that I don't trust them and I'm certainly not recommending them.
