Menu of the day
Charley B.

What an amazing experience, and INCREDIBLE mission/goal/overarching message! The chef of the day was from Latin American, so I ate the chicken fajitas and my friend got the vegetarian option. Both very good. The waitresses were all so sweet and attentive. The space was very open and people were constantly in and out / sitting and doing takeout. Great, lively space with lots of conversation. Love it all.

Love everything about this place! I love their mission, I love how bright and open it is inside (even though it's small), I love the service, and I love love love the food. We went for restaurant week and it was so good! Our waitress was incredibly kind, happy, and helpful. The food was amazing, of course! I started with the barbacoa tacos which were wonderful, then had a noodle curry dish from South Korea that I can't remember the name of, but it was AMAZING, and then last the mango mousse that was slaps fantastic! If you haven't tried Feast, you need to! It is wonderful! The food is always changing and it's always a wonderful experience!!

Best place for international cuisine. Environment is great. Service is amazing. Service is amazing.

Recent celebration at FEAST!!!

Have been going to Feast World Kitchen for years now and have never left without feeling grateful for this restaurant in our community. Not only is the food delicious, service warm and friendly, BUT the Mission of this non-profit is heartwarming. During these insanely turbulent times in our country Feast offers a respite from the insanity with their amazing menu's where our patronage directly supports our immigrant community. Remember that the menu changes daily so plan on visiting often!!!

Spokane is so lucky to have the talented staff and chefs that make Feast a culinary treasure. Tonight, the menu was Syrian cuisine prepared by Chef Abdulkareem Mahmoud. I ordered the lamb ouzi (braised lamb shank over rice) and baba ganoush to share. I can't rave enough about how tender and flavorful the lamb shank was, especially when paired with the tomato vegetable sauce poured over the rice. The rice had cashews, slivered almonds, peas, golden raisins, and aromatic spices to perfectly complement the lamb shank. The baba ganoush was slightly smoky and creamy and the drizzle of olive oil helped tame the tanginess from the yogurt. Absolutely phenomenal! I wish I could start the whole meal all over again. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Feast

We LOVE Feast World Kitchen! Such great food and an even better mission. It's amazing to experience cuisine from chefs with such diverse backgrounds. Everything we've tried has been great. We did a Palestinian night recently and Malaysia. So fun!!

Because they bring in different chefs, there isn't really a guarantee that the food will be good. Because most of the workers are volunteers, don't expect perfect service. But, for something original and fun, this is a great place! Go to their website to see the food for the day /for the week. New menus start on Wednesday. The ambiance is loud and plastic. Many people just pick up the food to go. However, it is really fun eating there and meeting other adventurers.

WOW. Feast World Kitchen is truly something special. The concept of this non-profit restaurant that enables 60+ immigrant and refugee chefs/families representing 30+ countries to share the food of their homelands with the local community via contract work in a commercial kitchen is innovative, authentic, and heartwarming. I can't believe I only heard of this place until yesterday. As I did my due diligence, I found myself wanting to try this place the very next day, and well... here I am with no regrets except for one. The regret of not discovering this place sooner! I've lived in Spokane for a year now, and coming from Seattle I've struggled to find diversity and authenticity in the Spokane food scene... it's just so dominated by bars and grills, pubs, and fast food chains that offer the same mediocre items. There's no excitement or sense of adventure. While writing reviews, I've found myself consistently having to lower my standards for the quality and value of the food here in Spokane vs Seattle. As I write this review, I'm putting back on my Seattleite hat and say with CONVICTION that Feast World Kitchen is 6/5 stars! The menu for the week is published every Monday on their website and each day features a special menu created by a chef they've arranged to bring in. Today's menu: Jordanian cuisine by chef Maisa. One of the concepts I love about Feast is that you can essentially travel the world and sample diverse and authentic dishes all in one spot! It's a melting pot of culture and people brought together through amazing food. Lamb Kebab Wrap ($15) - 5/5 This lamb kebab wrap wasn't playin', the chefs brought their A-game and delivered! Look at the cross section in my pic and you can see just how much lamb they stuffed into this wrap. And the lamb wasn't just all packed in the middle cross section of this wrap, which tends to be a small pet peeve of mine at other places. There was an even distribution of lamb throughout the wrap all the way to the very ends! It's all the other little things that count and add up to earn this 5/5 review. The lamb was perfectly seasoned and didn't leave me quenching for water. I didn't have a large puddle of grease left on my plate, yet the lamb was still so moist and flavorful with all the spices. The wrap was beautifully toasted all around on the outside but still soft on the inside. The roasted jojo potatoes were nicely done with a light drizzle of olive oil and pesto(?) on top, these left me feeling a lot healthier vs a plate of greasy fries that will usually go with something like this. The crunchy side of cabbage salad was also a pleasant experience with its slightly tangy and salty sauce drizzled on top, if I had to guess it was an anchovy based sauce. It's something I do at home sometimes, but not often done at a lot of restaurants. I love how they made this entire dish unique and authentic. Plus, can we just take a moment to appreciate the presentation? Hats off to the chef, clearly lots of love went into this dish. Rice Pudding ($5) - 5/5 I've had rice pudding a handful of times and it's become one of my favorite desserts for something that is creamy and mildly sweet. I loved this one as well. I'm honestly a little uncertain of what authentic rice pudding would really taste like as I'm sure there's no one right answer with a million variations of rice pudding and toppings based on family recipes and region, so I'll do my best to just describe Maisa's rice pudding. The rice grain doesn't appear to be a glutinous or sticky rice as the the consistency of this rice pudding isn't as thick, the grains don't stick to each other quite as much, and it's a medium sized grain. If I had to guess, this might've been Jasmine Rice? This version had a much stronger kick of vanilla than I've had in the past, which I'm not complaining about since I know it's expensive! The thickly shaved coconut pieces on top were a lovely touch as well. Can't wait to come back to try all their other foods!

I will work harder next year to find one. The store layout is weird, the employees were not helpful at all and again the fact that it is so over priced is beyond me. The decorations were a little subpar for my taste too. I think that Halloween moments in Spirit are important. It's almost like a bucket list thing every year but I never leave super satisfied. However my 7 year old found the blow up dinosaur costume and he loved it so much. He was hilarious. And I will try to forget that it cost me almost $60 for something he wore for one day. Because anytime I feel he should be a dinosaur we will wear the costume. To preserve the pricing. Ghoulish things and costumes are where it's at. Cheers to Halloween stores.

NEVER AGAIN! I ordered my childrens costumes online, September 7th. My sons was delivered October…read more19th, and my daughters came the day after Halloween. I just went to one of their pop up stores to get my money back, from the sealed package that had just been delivered yesterday, and had thee most horrible customer service ever. The cash register girl did not offer an apology that their company could have potentially ruined my daughters Halloween (thank you Target for saving the day), but then proceeded to tell me that they were not accepting returns anymore as they were closing their shop tonight. I said I understood, however I just received the package the day before, so I could not get it to them any earlier. She then proceeded to call her manager, and read to her the packing slip which said - any unwanted purchase must be returned 14 days after postmarked, which the postmark was November 1st, and today is November 2nd! Clearly not 14 days late! She got off the phone and told me I could exchange it, which I said I had no need for another halloween costume as it was no longer the holiday, and I asked to speak with her manager. She gave me a dirty look and said, You cant speak to my manager, shes busy! I said, you were just on the phone with her, and then she told me that her manager was about to go into a conference meeting (although the shop was closing up that night). I told her I wasnt leaving until I spoke with her manager, and she then told me that I was going to have to wait so that she could cut the line. So I stood around, on the phone with my husband, now venting what a sham this company is, which she kept interrupting with rude remarks. I waited 15 minutes until there was no line, and said, You need to call your manager now. She got back on the phone with her manager, and miraculously got her rt away, even though she was in a supposed "meeting", and within 20 seconds she was off and told me that if I could provide her my card, she would give me the refund. Funny how that works. I love people, and I am always kind to people everywhere I go - but I lost my crap when this rude kid decided that my money and time was of no value. Honest to God, parents, teach your children to be kind and respectful. And spirit Halloween - if someone pays for expedited shipping, and you can't get them what they purchased for over 2 months, train you damn employees to be a little bit more customer service oriented. When you make a mistake, make it right- dont cause the customer to have a mental break down in the store, otherwise you might be seeing my face dragging your a$# to Judge Judy

For years I ordered the Potpourri with a sausage. Now, I usually order the Manager's Favorite with meatballs. Love the mushroom sauce and rotate the second one. My only complaint is parking. We'll give The Old Spaghetti Factory a solid four stars…read more My wife was extremely hungry... the kind of hungry where time slows down and bad decisions loom. We had a 6:00 reservation, bumped it to 5:30, showed up at 5:00 anyway (because of course we did), and they kindly seated us in the bar area. Cozy little spot... no complaints there. Our waitress was great. Friendly, patient, and willing to roll with my nonsense... which is saying something. I had a free birthday entrée (buy one, get one free), promptly ordered something that wasn't on the birthday menu, realized my mistake, and pivoted back to my usual Mizithra Cheese & Browned Butter. Zero regrets. It's my go-to and it absolutely delivered. I ordered the Hearty Meal, which apparently translates to "Sir, here is a mountain of pasta." I barely finished it. I absolutely should not have finished it. I finished it anyway... because I am fat and that is how I roll. My wife ordered the Chicken Marsala. Her official review: "The chicken was OK." However... she loved the Mizithra pasta (a lot). She also enjoyed the Foundry Punch enough to have two, which is always a good sign. Between the two of us, we demolished about a loaf and a half of bread like it was our job. Dessert was spumoni ice cream. My wife had a little. I had mine... and then the rest of hers. Teamwork. The atmosphere was great. It was quiet, they had the playoff game on, so I got dinner and sports... win-win. Prices and value were exactly what you expect from OSF... no surprise fees, no menu gymnastics. They got very busy shortly after we arrived. When we sat down, it was us and one other couple in the bar. By the time we left, every table was full. Nothing wild happened, nothing bad happened... just a good, solid visit. Will we be back? Yep. And next time I might pretend I won't eat the entire plate... but we all know how that ends.
