The food is always good, just know you'll pay more than a Panera or local deli. If you are planning to meet people, it's tight inside and there is no public bathroom. This was the THIRD time I have ordered from this awful place. The first time they completely ignored a serious food allergy and gave us the wrong order. Also, did nothing about this. This was A YEAR AGO! So, a year later, we decide to try this place again. Welp, what do ya know? They messed up the order again! We picked up two sandwiches, went back to work, and both were wrong again. We were assured we would receive another sandwich the next day, being as we left and could not go back. Less than one star though because I couldn't even place the order that I wanted. I tried to arrange a sandwich platter delivery for my wedding day two months out from my wedding day. Told it was doable and could be dropped off around the corner from the catering site. Was also instructed to call with a credit card number. When I did that, I was told to wait until the date was closer to order. I waited, and waited and now that I placed my order a week out, I was told there was not enough staffing to deliver a sandwich platter around the corner and that the time might not be when I wanted. My sister was recommended this place by her boyfriend's mother who works in town and it was the best recommendation! We were going to go to the salad house but are so glad we came here. And I know that sounds weird because you know, salad is salad, but you are able to build your own which I loved! I have to say Eric is quite young but he is a hard worker, knowledgeable and attentive. I opted for the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cucumbers, fresh mozzarella balls, some beans and balsamic vinaigrette. There were so many toppings I couldn't just choose three! DO NOT HIRE FC.... I hired Stephen Bigmore's Feast Catering to prepare a 7 course tasting menu for 35 people to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. Stephen and I sat together and spoke several times about the details of the party. The catering was AWFUL! First, his staff arrived late. I had a house full of guests and NO FOOD. Then when they finally arrived (10 mins AFTER the party began and I had to make calls tracking them down), it took them 20 mins to get the first course out and it was the WRONG course! Clearly all the time I spent with Stephen was for naught. Next problem was the glasses I had requested they supply (AND I PAID FOR) were "forgotten" so we had to use our own (so much for not having to wash glasses all night). The fourth problem was they were supposed to pass the courses but just laid them out on the counter. (I paid for a waiter and that's what I get?). Again, the staff was clearly not briefed on the event details. Furthermore, they did not have trays to serve the food so I was interrupted to find serving trays. The last straw came several days after the party when Stephen finally called me to "apologize" (read: MAKE EXCUSES). He proceeded to tell me he made the decision to ensure the other event he booked was perfect at the expense of mine. He made no effort to make the situation better. In fact, Stephen ended the call by asking me to drop off one of the platters they had left behind (couldn't even offer to pick it up!) DO NOT HIRE FEAST CATERING. The owner is unprofessional, arrogant and quite frankly, the food isn't all that. What should have been a fun and polished event was stressful and certainly not worth the premium I paid for an alleged "classically trained chef". Stephen and his team need a lot more training and will quickly shaft you for a bigger and better party without hesitation. read more

Stephen and his team not only catered my company holiday party (yesterday) for 140 people...but they designed and handled all the decor, floral...everything! I highly recommend Feast Catering! Feast transformed an office cafeteria into a blue and white Winter Wonderland, our lobby was a dessert and champagne lounge and the whole thing was FABULOUS! From start to finish...seafood bar to fillet satay, passed individual pasta bowls to these red velvet "cakelets" (we'll call them cakeletes for now because I can't stop thinking about them) - I couldn't have been happier - they handled it all! Stephen was just as excited to do this as we were and it was a wonderful experience working with him. Last week a friend recommended ordering food from feast catering. The salad I ordered was incorrect and I ended up passing it along to a friend due to an allergy I had already specified to the worker who was preparing it. Yesterday, I decided to give it another try. I specified more than once my allergy to onions. The worker assured me no onions would be in my salad. Once I opened my package, I noticed the large amount of onions mixed in the salad. I called feast catering to see if they could deliver me a new salad and it was affirmed that only door dash could do it. This delivery could take up to an hour. That did not work in my favor since my lunch period was quickly coming to an end. I talked to the manager, Steven, and he promised me if I was to come back at the end of the day, he would reimburse me my money. I went there as he suggested. Steve had prepared a gift card for me. I told him I would prefer my refund in cash or out back on my card as we discussed on the phone. He didn't appear too pleased about that. After signing my paper, I said my goodbye and thank you. Steve called out, "Maybe next time you should let the workers know about your food allergy when placing an order." I was taken aback, but let it go. Once I was in the car, I realized that his comment was extremely inappropriate and rude. I'm a paying customer and to have been treated with disrespect was not right. I decided to call Steve and tell him how it was the wrong way to have handled the situation. Steve must of went on and on with repeating the same lines for a good five minutes. He would interrupt me when it was my turn to speak. His response was, "When ordering, you need to let people know about your allergy."I felt as if I was taking to a wall... Isn't that what my complaint was about? Did you not hear what I had to say? He also said, "some people don't want the onions because of the smell." It as apparent that Steve had no care nor respect. He should be embarrassed as to how he treated his customer. He should feel foolish for lying about the refund. He should try his best to accommodate the customer, rather than acting in a rude and unprofessional manner. Thank goodness I looked at my salad before eating it due to my allergy. I will not be returning. His professionalism was disgusting. The costs are overpriced. His demeanor was horrific. It's sad because I wanted to give it a third try. However, that will not be happening. Steve, learn how to treat people with RESPECT. That's the only way you'll get customers to walk through the door. I just finished enjoying a delicious lunch from Feast Catering. So delicious, I decided to do something I never do and write a review about it. I ordered their #8 Sandwich, Roast Beef, Lettuce, Roasted Pepper and Horse Radish Mayo on a perfectly toasted French Baguette. I have to say their sandwiches are ALWAYS made to perfection. They had catered an event of mine about a month ago. I left the entire menu up to Stephen. On the night of the event I had the biggest food critic in attendance - - my mom! And she love everything Stephen prepared - so much so she was raving about it to her friends. Not a usual thing for her to do. I highly recommend them for lunch or any catering event you're planning. Best appetizers in my opinion: spicy duck in wonton cups, stuffed mushrooms, filet mignon on french bread. I have used Feast Caterers in the past and was generally pleased with their food and service. That opinion has changed after my recent experience with Feast. After 5 emails between Stephen and I, a call was placed by a family member to pay for the order. I was then informed that the order was not taken, there was no recollection of an email and that i would need to order from what was available because the owner had already shopped without any consideration of my order. Given it was Friday and my event was on Saturday, i felt pressured to use Feast so I placed the order. The owner was not a drop apologetic and did not offer any compensation- not even delivery. To add insult to injury, the pasta which was supposed to contain sundried tomatoes did not have any sundried tomatoes- not one. The grilled chicken was served a la carte with oranges laying on top of it being kind of odd given it was not advertised as orange chicken. The grilled eggplant was mushy and over charred. In summary, the food was just barely mediocre and the service definitely lacking. I would not use feast again and if i were one of the owners I would be a little worried given the influx of new and creative restaurateurs in the area. read more

With very little advanced notice, they perfectly catered a last-minute party I threw for 5 couples. We had vegans, we had lactose-intolerants, we had meat-and-potato eaters ... and Feast made the menu work for everyone, quite amazing. The food was excellent, and the prep person/server that "worked" the party for me was superb. She plated everything beautifully, served professionally, then after the party cleaned the entire kitchen and packaged the leftovers perfectly in my fridge. Furthermore, while I was at their shop reviewing the menu with them the week before the actual event, they gave me a bunch of party ideas that were excellent, I used them all. I could not be happier. We've always liked the quality and diversity of the menu here, having had several lunches and the occasional take out meal from Feast. That quality translated when we had them in for a Halloween celebration recently. Attended one of Stephen's cooking classes offered through Westfield Adult school. He was the consummate host, professionally demonstrated a diverse menu, and made for a completely enjoyable evening. The food he cooked up for our class was awesome! I've also eaten lunch at his shop on numerous occasions and have consistently been served quality food. The build your own salad has something for everyone and is my wife's favorite. He routinely fills his shop with patrons, many on a repeat basis.
