Parking is free but limited, and it can be a hassle depending on how busy the night is. Food is hit or miss since it's usually buffet-style. Some items are okay. Like the spare ribs they're known for but overall it doesn't always taste freshly prepared and can sometimes be overly salty. The bar is also inconsistent; I've had well-made drinks, but other times they've been watered down. On one visit, I even found a bug in my drink, but the bartender did replace it without issue. On the positive side, the staff is consistently friendly, accommodating, and service is usually quick. Overall, it's a decent spot for casual events like birthdays or retirement parties, but not ideal for anything more upscale or polished in my opinion.

The magician I wanted to hire was booked somewhere else and I only found out a few days before, but the balloon sculpture artist Mark recommended instead was an absolute hit with the kids as well as the adults, which was a pleasant surprise. He made my husband the most outrageous birthday hat. Right when he was supposed to be done, one of the kids tripped and popped his balloons and got upset, and he stayed longer to make him (and a few other stragglers) more balloons. Truly kind. The photographer David was also really so helpful, friendly, and on it! He came early and helped with some of the set up... he was attentive and also very nice to talk to.
