Coffee is good at this shop in DTLA close to South Central. In spite of the location, fear not and get some locally brewed stuff. Fear Not isn't like it's in the hood of course, actually a church we found out after going in. Modern looking space with lots of room for reading, studying, and more. The coffee is affordable for the area as well. A place like this is good for those looking for coffee on the cheap. It's also cheap as far as the free parking. The building is unassuming from the outside, looking like some kind of warehouse. It's about $5 for the Matcha Latte. There's several non dairy milks including oat. Mine came out frothy and hot. We got a table and chilled awhile, realizing this was some kind of church it turned out. It's one of those casual ones apparently. The place seemed welcoming though to be honest. Good coffee and they support some good causes. It's not like it was full of religious nuts or judgmental people. The coffee is a good price and so is the free parking among other things.

I ordered the Fear Not Latte- charcoal vanilla with oatmilk and it was really delicious. The barista was super sweet and I look forward to coming back when im in downtown. Only thing im not sure of is if they have outlets for long work sessions. Will be back!!
Hands down one of THE BEST coffee shops in the city! This is a cute NEW hidden gem. Easily in my top 3 fav coffee spots in DTLA! They also have super cute custom cold brew flasks for purchase! I love the safe environment this spot provides too. Tons of FREE parking and Wi-Fi. Very friendly people at the establishment too! This is a huge selling point for me.

There's a ton of sun light and it would be a perfect place to sit down and chill or study with some headphones. The baristas were also really cool and created a welcoming environment. I got the Spanish latte which was sweet and creamy and had hints of cinnamon. I absolutely loved it. I would 10/10 come to this coffee shop again.
Came here on a weekday morning and it's in such a random spot! But benefit is right off the freeway and a huge free parking lot. It's a beautiful warehouse space and the iced Spanish latte was amazing. The woman working was super sweet. The breakfast sandwich was the only food and it wasn't great, kinda dry. Such fun decor! this cafe is a part of fearless church and it seems well integrated into the facility, with a nice designated parking area, plenty of seats with outlets, wifi, and a/c. (i will say they keep the rolling industrial door open which lets a lot of heat and sun inside so it was still quite hot when i went). i was only able to try the cold brew but it was a solid blend. the service was also great!
Was looking for a random place to chill and kill time then found this hidden gem of a cafe located in an incognito area of downtown/south central. The staff are super friendly and chill--made my day better tbh. The almond croissant hit a spot that I didn't know needed hitting; it was very flaky almost to a fault and just enough sweet. The Fear Not was really good nice and cinnamon-y but not overpowering. I still had more time so I got a vanilla latte and which was solid. I think they roast their own blend of beans in house so if you're the type that cares about that more power to you. Bless.
I like the black and white aesthetic going on. I definitely can see this as a place to wfh and spend some downtime at. I had their Spanish latte and gluten free chocolate banana bread, both of which were good! Also, convenient that they have a parking lot given that the area has very limited parking. read more

LOVE THIS CAFE. when i tell you i fell in love with this cafe, i fell IN LOVE. maybe it's the fact that it's a faith-based cafe but i felt a sense of peace here. the interior was super aesthetic, the inside was spacious, and the decoration was so nice. lots of seating, wifi is provided, and the drink was good. i had the fear not latte and i'm not a big fan of coffee but it was pretty good!! there's plenty of parking and the workers were so kind to explain each drink as well. will definitely be one of my go-to coffee shops when in DTLA. read more

Ordered the Fear Not Latte, it was really good and refreshing, it's made with cinnamon, definitely recommend. I wanted to try the breakfast burrito but they had run out by the time I got there at 10:30am so I got the chocolate croissant which I think was actually Nutella because it had hazelnuts. The croissant was just okay for me, it had an overwhelming amount of Nutella. The coffee shop is located in a warehouse space and has plenty of parking, amazing for an LA coffee shop! There is plenty of seating, although not the most comfortable. read more

Fear Not is my favorite coffee shop in DTLA, a very nice and cool spot for work. I love their coffee, specially the Spanish Latte and the Matcha. The baristas are always very welcoming and friendly. From their pastry, I really like the Nutella Croissant and the Breakfast Burrito. read more

This place is odd and I mean that in a good way. This place is inspired by The Lord Himself. The coffee is good. I received my cold brew in a black flask. A bit quirky, I liked it. Service was super friendly, as Jesus folk usually are. Ambiance is cool. It's a warehouse space in an alleyway. Tons of space and open room. Check it out. read more

I've been working from my laptop for the last 8 years and can honestly say this is my favorite coffee shop so far! Here's why: Parking: FREE parking! The $10-15 I save on parking pays for my coffee and a breakfast burrito! haha. There is a huge parking lot so you don't have to worry about searching or paying for parking! Coffee: The coffee is FIRE! They roast their own beans in house and you can taste the freshness. It's also STRONG so you will have plenty of energy and focus throughout the day. Pricing: I'm shocked that I can get a latte this delicious for under $5! Seriously, this is a rare find in DTLA. Vibe: The vibe here is chill + productive. People are here getting work done but there are also people her having conversations and hanging out. It's a very easy place to focus but at the same time meet new people (if you're feeling social). Also they've got frisbees so if you need to take a break you can toss a frisbee outside haha. People: I didn't know there were nice people in coffee shops in DTLA haha. The people that work here are super friendly and genuine. It feels like a family. Space: This place is huge! It's in a modernized warehouse so there's tons of space. Most coffee shops are crowded but this coffee shop has all the space you could ever want. It's awesome to be able to jump on a call or walk around without having to worry about bumping into someone else's table and spilling their coffee haha. Food: You have to try the breakfast burrito! They also have a good assortment of pastries. All super high quality and reasonably priced. Design: Whoever designed this place did an amazing job because everywhere you look is a potential IG post. From the shipping containers to the neon lights to the murals to the 360 view of LA (from the rooftop) this place is IG ready. Wifi: The wifi works great. Zoom calls, downloads/uploads, and everything else works great without any issues. read more

Can't say enough good things about this place! It's a large warehouse setting with plenty of seating, so it doesn't feel crammed at all. Nice and bright inside; great place to get some work done. I love coming here to work and get an amazing cup of coffee! The vibe is very chill & spacious. They have outlets available if you need to plug in your devices, clean bathrooms, and free parking! It's also really awesome that it's in a church because you get that peaceful good energy vibe, and they play low instrumental music so you can focus not like some Starbucks that play music often too loud you can't concentrate & with words so very distracting. What a blessing, pun intended. But this place has legit good coffee and great vibes. Its hipster meets urban meets Jesus meets chill. And if you're not religious, which I am not, this place isn't trying to shove any gospel down your throat. You can pull up, open up your laptop and just work while sipping a nice cup of Joe. It's a great place to hang out and study now with the now available free wifi and tables to sit at but what's even more amazing, free parking! Not many places in Downtown offer this perk. So not only will they serve you great coffee but proceeds help feed the people in the community. The gentleman who manages the shop has plenty of experience in the coffee world so you will see his wisdom be expressed through all aspects of the shop. The menu is nice and is constantly evolving with new drinks being frequently offered. Can't go wrong giving this spot a try. Simply GREAT coffee! They have other drink options besides coffee. Healthy food options and also delicious pastries! Always greeted by friendly baristas! Good ambience! Place is clean, with lots of seating & FREE PARKING! I would say a good coffee shop to come work at - they have good WiFi (always a plus) I would recommend a Spanish latte and a Nutella croissant def worth trying out this shop! read more

Fear not coffee is one of my favorite spaces to have meetings and get some work done in LA. There's light music playing in the background and free parking on the rooftop also there's a lot outside. Today I tried the pumpkin spice latte and it was really good my business partner had the vanilla latte. We both have worked in cafes in the past and The barista Josie made our drinks perfectly, which I was pretty happy about. I recommend this place. read more
