Easy to reserve and confirm what was needed (updated tags). The tech was a little more than 30 minutes later than the window of time, but that's not the end of the world. The only complaints I could think of was the address on the Service Agreement paperwork was correct in some spots and incorrect in other spots, so the tech ended up at the wrong address and had to call me to clarify. The tech was transparent about the final cost of billing, which rivaled other companies. He was a bit confused about how to put the extinguisher back on the hook, and I had to show him what to do. (Apparently our extinguishers look different than whatever is popular these days.) He also thought ours expired until I showed him the sticker that the prior company confirmed meant we had several years before we needed to replace them. In an odd sorta way, I'm glad we had the no-show company last year so I was better prepared for how to answer questions during the inspection this year. I'm not sure I would've known about the second sticker if not for that. Friendly tech and easy to talk to. I'd be happy to re-hire them next year if I'm still on the board. Customer service via phone and email was attentive, too. I'm still waiting on an updated email bill, but other than that, all good.

I sent a message via Yelp on a Sunday night and they immediately scheduled our oven troubleshooting for Monday afternoon. Their front office staff is incredibly responsive! George (technician) arrived timely and was very thorough. He explained things to me every step of the way. He is approaching this very methodically - ok, so it's not the igniter, let's look at the next link in the chain... I saw George called out by name in other Yelp reviews, and I understand why he comes so highly recommended! He called the manufacturer to discuss his findings, but the manufacturer tech team wasn't available. He let me know he would be calling them again in the morning and that he would reach out to me with an update. I've had plenty of negative or so-so experiences with other service technicians from other companies. This experience with George / Astera is so positive that I'm posting my review even before the service is completed. Astera will be getting first crack at all of my appliance and HVAC service calls going forward.
