While my parents introduced me to a family friend who was a real estate agent, I had no idea how to go about finding a loan officer! After digging through Yelp/Google, I stumbled upon Meridox Mortgage that had stellar reviews and took a chance. I called Meridox and was put in touch with Trung Tran. I let him know that I didn't have any knowledge of how the house-buying process works, but he was incredibly supportive and assured me he would walk me through every step. Shortly after we finished talking on the phone, he sent me a list of items to provide for the pre-approval letter. Trung's turnaround was quick. I sent him my information in the evening and got the letter the next morning. My real estate agent used this letter to draft the offer...it was accepted! After my offer was accepted, the rest of the process was somewhat nebulous, but my real estate agent worked closely with Trung to help me through. Trung was with me every step of the way. He patiently explained how my monthly mortgage payment and closing costs were calculated and even helped me negotiate a home insurance offer. He even kept a close eye on the market and advised me when I should lock in the rate. I thought home buying would be more stressful, but it wasn't as bad as I thought because Trung made every step clear and was very on top of deadlines. From pre-approval to loan closing, it took just one month! Thank you Trung for being so diligent and patient in helping me secure my dream home! Trung was also very proactive in reaching out to me a few months later when interest rates dropped by about 1%. I had the honor of working with Trung again for my refinance, and it was also efficient and painless! I recommended Trung to my coworker recently when she was looking to buy a condo. Highly recommended to anyone who is in a market for a house to look into Meridox!! Thanks again for your hard work, Trung!!!

A little background: I did 2 house purchases, and 1 house sale by myself without a realtor before engaging Meridox. I didn't need handholding, because I was not a first-time buyer. I wanted an advisor who can give me an honest opinion as to pricing, knows the neighborhoods, and can negotiate with the seller's agent. Linh was so on top of things. She understood that I was busy and scheduled multiple showings for me on weekends. She mapped out our route, so we can be efficient with time. She never asked me to consider any property that was outside my price range or not what I was looking for. I was able to knock out many home viewings with her, and we put in a couple of offers. I saw a house that fell out of escrow. I messaged her, and she was immediately on it. She showed me the house, called the seller's agent, and basically convinced the seller to take my offer that was a tad below listing that either that same day or the next. (OC is a hot market, so this was an incredible deal! My other offers all sold above listing.) She was incredibly responsive, super sharp, and very easy to work with. I used Meridox as my mortgage broker as well and used them again to refinance a year later. Very seamless and easy transaction. Forget all the agents who claim to "treat you like family." We found Paul after submitting a request online for mortgage quotes from several brokers. It was a Sunday night so we didn't expect any responses until Monday morning, but Paul replied immediately to our inquiry. He remained responsive and prompt the entire time we worked with him. When you're making offers on houses and especially when you're looking to close on a home, you want a loan officer who works fast and is readily available like Paul. We actually vetted several other mortgage brokers before finding Paul, but did not feel that they were forthcoming or transparent. When you're looking for someone to help you get the best deal on a loan and potentially save you thousands of dollars, you want to feel that you can trust them to have your financial interests in mind. Paul was honest about rates, costs, and what we qualified for. He guided us on our best options while also never being pushy - all while also helping us get a better rate and lower closing costs than competitors. From the early rate discussions to the final steps of funding, Paul was always on top of everything and made sure we understood what to expect at each stage. We especially appreciated how patient he was with our questions and how proactive he was in helping us meet every deadline. We've been recommending him to friends and family and will happily work with him again when it's time to refinance.

Although I had initially called Josh with the intention of applying for a loan, I felt so comfortable and confident with his work that I ended up choosing him as my realtor as well - this turned out to be a really, really great decision! Josh and his brother Anthony were with me every step of the way. Being new to the process, I had several questions that were always answered very promptly. Josh was honest, hard-working, and incredibly friendly and sincere during this whole process. Due to the crazy housing market, the house that we were interested had several offers on it. With Josh's real estate savviness and knowledge, our offer was chosen. We were ecstatic! The rest of the process went extremely smoothly. The entire home buying journey was so much less stressful because of the support I received from Josh and Anthony. We moved in late November 2020, but even when I contacted them after, they were ALWAYS there for me. I have no hesitation in saying that if I called them up today with a question, they would give me the great same service I received from them several months back. Thank you Josh!!!

When I email them, they respond that they will get back to me and I never get answers to my questions. Plus, they do everything they can to make it hard for you to refinance for a lower rate. And the agents manipulate you and try to get you to go for a longer loan if you pursue a lower rate so that they can take even more interest from you than if you never refinanced. I would not recommend them. Get your home loan elsewhere rather than dealing with this nightmare company for 15-30 years.

I bought my first home last August. The Realtor I was originally working with referred me to…read moreWindsor Capital, specifically to the lender named Jun. I called Jun on a Saturday morning back in July and even though we had never met, and it was a Saturday, he was incredibly helpful and friendly. I ended up working with Jun for the purchase of my home. He was very flexible and accommodating to the times I was able to meet with him. Since this was my first time buying and I had no clue what I was doing, he really took the time to explain everything to me in depth and sort of "dumb it down" so that I understood what was going on. He did his best to get me the lowest interest rate, and the transaction was very smooth. After moving into my home and living there for a few months, Jun contacted me again to let me know the rates had dropped and that I could refinance. The refi process took a bit longer than the original purchase of the home, but I was in no hurry. Just last week when he was wrapping everything up, he called me again to let me know the interest rates dropped again, and that he was going to try to renegotiate the loan to get me a better deal. He was able to do that, and just this morning I met with him to sign the refi paperwork, and my payments have now dropped considerably. I have already referred a few friends to Jun for their home buying needs, but I just wanted to put the word out there that I think Jun and Windsor Capital are awesome!
