    Meatball Sub
    Marissa C.

Friendly service and clean space. We ordered the kids spaghetti, meatball sub, a salad, and, of course, those tasty breadsticks. Everything was great and much enjoyed. There is plentiful parking available.

Today was the second ever ordering here. Ordered the Grand Sampler which comes with Lasagna with Meat Sauce, Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, Spaghetti with Meatball, and Ravioli with Meat Sauce. The lasagna had an odd taste, the chicken Alfredo was basic with NO chicken, the spaghetti was basic with a frozen meatball with no sauce on it, the ravioli have little to no sauce. Disappointed.

Went to Fazoli's on 2/28/2020 and ordered a kids meal, two orders of pepperoni pizza, Ultimate Spaghetti, and NY Style cheesecake. Unfortunately, I did not receive my cheesecake and did not notice until we got home. I called and no one answered so I got a voicemail for the General Manager. Left a voicemail with my order number, 5135, the date and time which was 5:53 PM and I have not received a call back to reimburse or provide me with the cheesecake we ordered. Very unsatisfied with the customer service.

This is the salad we paid for to go with our family duo!

It's so nice to see such "Quality" in my meal this evening! I opened the salad and everything seemed ok, until I moved the heap of cheese and mountain of cherry tomatoes used to hide the disgusting brown lettuce. Good thing I didn't feed this to my 4 year old daughter... you all should be ashamed you sent this out the window and not into the garbage. Just another place on the list of never again!

What a train wreck…read more.. I have given very few 2 star ratings in all the reviews I have done over the last 10 years but this was bad. We wanted to try something new in Heath and Thiango's popped up so we tried it. The interior is nicely decorated but it still had some Christmas decorations up in mid February so that should have been a clue that something was a little off. When we got seated and settled in we realized that it was really cold interior restaurant - like 60 degrees cold. The waiter, Shawn, was horrible forgot our drink order - 3 times. He suggested having the seafood so that is what we had. I had the seafood platter which was OK - the salmon was over cooked and they forgot to put the crab in it. When I pointed out the lack of crab they told me they would get me a side of shrimp? Wifie had the salmon platter with linguini covered in rose vodka sauce which the salmon was over cooked but the rose vodka sauce was really good. It took forever to get the food out and the waiter stopped by so infrequently that our drinks spent more time empty than one could imagine. They offered to bring us more bread but they ran out. The bread was good also. This would have been a great place to dine if it was not for the poor service, the overcooked fish, the cold temperature of the resturant, the forgotten crab, the empty drinks, this lack of bread, ...

Our experience was great! Short review summary: Kids eat free on Sunday made the process awesome,…read moreservice was very good, and food was pretty good. Decor was fine despite the remnants of the old brand still there. More info, for those that care: In my type A personality I noticed a lot. Sure there is still decor that needs attention, like Christmas lights still up (must be a choice on purpose), a few paint locations need touched up, and yes, three surfboards still mounted to the ceiling from the old restaurant, but it didn't change the ambiance much. Music was nice (smooth jazz was playing) and most of all, food was pretty good and price was great. The free appetizer bread was really good, my Chicken Marsala was good, and my wife's Chicken Alfredo was really good. The kids spaghetti and Alfredo cheese ravioli were good too. Nothing tasted like Olive Garden, it had a unique local taste (BTW if you didn't know OG pasta is just bagged and boiled- as someone who works in the kitchen, they'll tell you). Overall the food was cooked well, sauce tastes handmade - salad dressing on my side salad definitely did (balsamic) and despite there being some generic things like iceberg lettuce and generic mushrooms, it tasted pretty good. I think what made it the best was our service, which was outstanding. The place was a ghost town, there was one other party there and us. So we should have had great service. The main host/waiter was great though despite the good timing (he welcomed us and responded to anything we needed quickly). Finally, the price was awesome! We got 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals, with kids eat free on Sundays, so our bill was $43 before tip. Overall we hope to go back and try another time. If you haven't been recently, you should definitely go back and try it again!

Wow! Where do I begin!!…read more I made a reservation for this restaurant after I friend of mine raved about it. Our reservation was at 7:30p and we were seated promptly upon arrival. Our servers name was DJ, she did an impeccable job. Very friendly, answered all of our questions and was very good at her job!) We ordered the Pasta Fritto for an appetizer and it was incredible. Bread service was included with the meal and the garlic bread was good! We both decided to get Alfredo and it was 10/10. Super creamy and rich, noodles were cooked perfectly. We then ordered 3 different desserts and brought them home to try. We got the Cannoli, Tiramisu and Carrot Cake. They're all made in the bakery next door and fresh as can be. The carrot cake was my favorite! I would highly recommend this place! The ambience was quaint and pretty, staff were incredible, food was top notch and the prices were fair. I can't wait to come back!

Review by :Avila.Eats on TikTok, insta, YouTube…read more Service: wait staff and owner are friendly and attentive. Water was never an issue and all questions were answered thoughtfully. Ambiance/Atmosphere: inside is small but well decorated. Spacious although cramped. Nice interior matching the home like exterior. Food: Spaghetti and meatball is alright. The sauce is a strong acid forward sauce and the meatball is tender and well flavored. The noodles were perfectly cooked and it all paired well together. You could take it or leave it. Lasagna was great. Thick layered meaty lasagna perfectly cooked and balanced between all ingredients. Large portion and thankfully so. I'd recommend. Chicken parm was delicious. Crispy well seasoned chicken breast. This is one of the better chicken parm's I've had in central Ohio. Well seasoned and perfectly cheesy. I'd highly recommend. Chicken Marsala was great. Juicy well seasoned chicken breast paired with a Delicious and well executed marsala mushroom sauce. I'm not a fan of risotto but this is was exceptional. I'd recommend. Chocolate espresso cake was good. I could see this being high on the list for a coffee lovers dessert list. Dense chocolate sponge with a delicious espresso frosting. Bread pudding with whiskey sauce was delicious. Soft, warm, well seasoned bread pudding In a delicious cream and whiskey infused sauce. This was the best bread pudding I've had to date. I'd highly recommend. Cannoli was delicious. Crispy shell and a freshly done ricotta mascarpone cream. The cream itself was a cinnamon cream and paired excellently with the chocolate chips. The best cannoli I've had In Ohio. I'd insist on this order. Carrot cake amazing. This is one of the best if not the best carrot cake in central Ohio. Deep orange color and packed with nuts. No raisins but the cream cheese frosting makes up for it with the subtle sweetness. I'd insist on this order.

My son and his wife took us to a an amazing place they stumbled into what may very well be the culinary pride of Columbus: La Tavola, a family-owned, family-run Italian restaurant that feels like someone teleported you straight into Nonna's kitchen... but with better lighting and no guilt about not calling enough. If you love yourself a great, unapologetically stinky pizza and I'm talking Parmigiano-Reggiano and ricotta levels of heavenly funk then this is your place. This pizza didn't just have cheese; it was knee-deep in cheese. Handmade, hand-rolled, and clearly crafted by people who know their way around a dairy situation. The appetizers? Fantastic. The waitstaff? Friendly, attentive, and exactly the kind of people you'd hope are handing you carbs by the plateful. But then, the main dishes arrived. I ordered seared scallops over a bed of handmade buttery fettuccine with capers, and I swear I heard an angel sing. The scallops were perfectly cooked, the pasta was the kind that ruins you for boxed pasta forever, and the whole thing tasted like someone's Italian grandmother blessed the plate personally. If I could say "WAY TO GO!" in Italian, I absolutely would but instead I'll say this: If you're ever in Columbus, go to La Tavola. Go hungry. Go ready to eat like you're visiting family. And go prepared to fall a little bit in love with this place. Family-owned, warm, cozy, and outrageously delicious. Highly recommend.

And apparently has a core memory of a fun family gathering there, so she wanted to go. I did not, but when it's almost 2 and you haven't eaten lunch sometimes the kid wins. Who am I kidding, she almost always does, because there has to be something for her to eat and that's not always true at my Chinese and Indian and Korean picks. It was packed, at 2pm on a Saturday. Newark has a decent amount of choices, and yet everybody was here? Harumph. Got right in though, and service was frazzled but reasonably quick and super friendly. Kid K got kid-menu mac and cheese, side of fries, and upgraded to a smoothie. She liked all of it. And the salad and breadsticks, though I think the endless parmesan was what really sold her. She asked for lots on the salad, even some on the fries and mac. Portions were big, a good thing since she is now a bigger kid. I went small since I figured the breadsticks and salad would make up part of my meal. The "lighter" lasagna. And it was a small portion, but it did end up being enough with the "free" stuff. No leftovers, of course. And I didn't really care, because it just wasn't that great. Olive Garden's specialty is good-enough sorta-Italian. And with so many other options it is never my choice. The lasagna was like a frozen one. Frankly a "premium" frozen one would probably be better. Oh, well. Free refills on my pretty-good lemonade (not Minute-Maid, the "classic lemonade" I think.) Great service, as I said. Not super pricey. I survived.

Despite living 30 minutes away we had yet to give this place a try. Located on Paint Street near Yoktangee Park, parking can be an issue. During the day it's metered - after 5 no charge but still rather limited spots for the number of stores in the area. We found one across the street. We got there about 30 minutes before closing but service was courteous and we were seated and had our food within 20 minutes. We weren't the only late arrivals. Another couple came in behind us. We felt bad about being there after closing but many tables still had people eating when we left. We asked for the pizza they are known for and got a 16" NY style cheese pizza brought to us in minutes. Super hot! Overall, we were underwhelmed with the pizza. Sauce was good and not acidic. Pizza could have used more cheese. It seemed like the sauce to cheese ratio favored sauce. The star was the crust. Nice and crunchy. Edge was cooked nicely but I would have liked it to have give a little longer so the middle had more structure. Next time we'd definitely order it topped. They use cupped pepperoni so my husband was happy. I generally eat cheese pizza but even I said it could benefit from a topping or at least more cheese. I'd give the place 7/10 but we're willing to try other things on the menu to see if the cheese pizza just wasn't for us.
