Fausto's is what you hit when you're craving that Roberto's-style Mexican food, but done right. It's still fast and casual, just way more consistent. Most of the menu hits--especially the taquitos, which are always on point, and the churros, which come out warm and actually taste fresh instead of stale. I ordered DoorDash, 2 beef taco plate, a tamale, and a chile relleno. I have ordered her before and it's been mid, but ok for the price. This time when I ordered, the bag wasn't tied, no utensils, no salsa, napkins, just poorly wrapped food. The beef tacos were full of meat, but had store bought Mexican cheese, hardly any lettuce, and zero queso cheese. I had to throw out the tamale and chile, bc they tasted horribly of some sort of chemical. I'm not sure if the red sauce was accidentally mixed in cleaning detergent or what. The refried beans, basically canned and microwaved with bad cheese. The rice, no flavor, nothing, inedible. Sad bc I'm not sure what happened this order, usually I can expect it to be "ok", now I won't order again. read more

Really cool spot! Tucked off but packed full of flavor! The shrimp taco is basically a fajita in a taco. So much food! The chicken taco is crispy and the crunch is perfect! The carne asada is straight to the point. Guac and pico. Loved every one! And the fries are ! They are the skinny fries . Service was quick and multilingual. Good tacos and burritos. Not too much for the taco Tuesday taco only because of the meat used. But I am a fan of everything else. Their simple veggie burritos to their shrimp burritos are delicious, packed with flavor and ingredients to make sure you're full. I definitely love coming here for a quick bite when I don't feel like cooking. Service always super quick and responsive. Typical taco spot. Nice place to sit and open salsa bar. read more

Stopped into Fausto's this morning it was extremely busy but the service was impeccable. With so many orders you would think it would take long to get your food but it didn't . The manager, Efren is very respectful to his customers and you can tell he is passionate about service! The only items I have had so far are the breakfast burritos but they are really good and especially hearty (they do not skimp on the burrito filling). Finally the pickled condiments is a nice "cherry on top". Service is fast and friendly while the food is filling and tasty. Very good! read more

I almost stopped a few other places along the way, but chose this place. I decided on the breakfast burrito with ham. The guy that helped me as nice, good customer service. I loved the fact that they had the carrots and jalapenos bagged up on ice, and you can just grab a bag of the carrots and jalapenos. Also they had already filled with the sauces. The Habenaro sauce was in a squeezable jar, so you know what your getting if you pour yours in a container. The burrito was huge! I could only eat 1/2 of it. the other half I saved for lunch. What I like about Fausto Mexican Grill they serve breakfast burritos all day. My favorite burrito is the Chorizo w/eggs, cheese and potatoes, but my twist is I ask them add a little bit of refried beans. It is so good! I feel their chorizo is cooked with a spice that I can't pinpoint. Like a cinnamon stick or allspice? Whatever it is, it's delicious and I also like pickles carrots, onions and jalapeño, it compliments the burrito. Also I like their Dorado chicken taco something so simple and yet tasty. The establishment on Silverado Ranch is always nice and clean and the cashier always greets me with a smile. read more

We got the carne asada breakfast burrito because we heard they have great breakfast burritos. My partner loves his breakfast burritos and was not a fan. He felt it was lacking on the cheese and had a lot of egg. I thought it was less oily compared to a lot of breakfast burritos I've had in the past and didn't mind that. Since it was not as oily I felt it was lacking on flavor. The sauces definitely made it so much better. I really like the regular red sauce and my partner said the spicy red sauce was good but it maybe too spicy for some people. read more

I really love that my local Fausto's still has $1 chicken tacos on Tuesdays. It's so good of them to have a day where their tacos are super affordable! I get some almost every week. This is not a traditional Mexican restaurant. Similar concept to Taco Bell. Very salty, my burrito had 2 wraps and too much shredded cheese. The rollos are frozen, this are Similar to flautas but definitely not fresh. There is a flavor that tells me this is not made in the restaurant. Customer service is a great kind server. The lobby is clean, and the bathroom has a funky smell. This is a place for non-mexicans. It's the Mexican American side. There's nothing wrong with that, but I'm definitely not trying again. read more

Service was very friendly at the counter, but they got my order completely wrong and not only was it absolutely disgusting tasting, the burrito wasn't event wrapped so it opened up and fell apart immediately. Took 1 bite and gagged so hard I dry vomited and spit it out, hopefully tomorrow I can get a refund for the dog food EDIT: 10 minutes later and now fully vomiting read more

The carne asada burrito is my favorite so I usually order that and an order of rolled tacos. My wife gets combo plates. It is close to our house and I prefer Fausto's over the other 2 takeout Mexican food places that are all over town. I also like that they have the pickled carrots and jalapenos with the prepacked salsa. I usually don't have to call in my order because they are so quick and very nice to customers. read more

Arrived here around 2 o'clock in the afternoon today to an almost empty dining room. I ordered two specials five rolled tacos with drink and taco chicken salad with drink. Total cost $23, great deal! The portions were big and the cashier was very friendly and efficient. The meal was for my husband and my teenage son and we were all full, however both my husband and son and I did not care for the rolled tacos but the Carne Asada was delicious and the taco salad was great! I really enjoyed their Nevada burrito, which is basically a California burrito. Asada was seasoned spot on, cheese tasted freshly grated. Pretty good size for the price. I also ordered the grilled chicken burrito, which included cheese, lettuce, and a little sour cream. Fausto's Mexican grill Been eyeing out this location for a while ever since the new plaza on Silverado ranch started to open businesses. I was greeted very nicely with the gentlemen at the counter and he took my order and prepared my super nachos and carne asada burrito within 10 mins. The super nachos had the right amount of succulent beef with a generous drizzle of cheese and beans. Don't have to really put anything on these bad boys because they are already packed with flavor down to the meat. How they marinate it is the foundation of this delicious dish. Came in and the place was empty, ordered my food and it was ready in a few minutes. Only thing that came out all right was the beans. Rice was over cooked to almost mush, all the rest of my food was cold. Was in town for the week and I was looking for an authentic Mexican spot to try. Found Fausto's on yelp with great reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. Upon entering I was greeted and the service was great. I ordered the chorizo burrito and Al pastor taco. The pastor taco didn't have that depth of flavor I was looking for and there was pico and guac as a topping which threw me off. The chorizo burrito was giagantic and stuffed with minimal chorizo tons of cheese and French fries. I was looking for authentic and this was more of a late night spot to gather with the crew. If you want authentic cilantro y onion and basic simple Mexican cooking I would avoid here. On the other hand if you are looking for that greasy pick me up after a long day/night this is you spot. read more

Service was super nice and overall I did enjoy all the drinks and got super hydrated. Wouldn't mind coming back to check out their dinner options for sure.

Portions are huge and truly meant to be shared. I tried their special which was a shrimp burrito. Reasonably priced and delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to drop in here again when all other places are closed late night.
