Here you pay first and then pray you get what you ordered. Before you were able to talk to the cooks and order your food as you wanted. Not anymore . Prices: Way too pricey for the food we got. 44.00 for 2 tacos, 1 quesadilla and 1 nacho plate (vegetarian) no meat Oh and now you pay for beans . One tiny cup of beans 5 dollars. Flavor: Delish! That continues to be the same. What's missing? The sink where you could wash your hands, and to be able to say hello and talk to the cooks. Late night taco run you say?.....YESSSS PLEASE! The workers are super nice and the tacos are fire. We ordered tacos.... lengua, grilled chicken, carnitas, asada-queso taco, chips and guacamole. All the tacos were delicious! Lengua: street tacos super tender meat and flavorful with onions and cilantro with no salsa. Grilled chicken: hand made tortilla, onions/cilantro, no salsa with a big dollop of avocado mash Carnitas: super tender pork, onions/cilantro with salsa. Highly recommend Asada queso: really tasty, not as heavy or greasy as you would think with the crispy cheese and it definitely held up. The corn tortillas are hand made and so tasty. They have a salsa bar with green and red salsa and crema and pickled carrots , jalapenos and onions, fresh radishes and lime/lemons. All pretty good and tasty. They have amazing Horchata, Agua frescas (changes all the time) . And ofc a full bar for those margaritas and beer to go with there yummy tacos. The food came out quick and hot . The guacamole was just ok. I only wish it was made fresh and less on the chopped tomatoes. Clearly made and packed earlier in the day. I wouldn't get the guacamole again unless they changed it. Busting out the tacos are high priority especially when it gets really busy. Expect long lines during lunch/dinner times. We went late night so it was super chill. BEWARE! I was excited to give this place another try and was so disappointed to be told "I can't guarantee there won't be any cross contamination" for a severe avocado allergy I have. So if you have any allergies, steer clear of this place. I tried to tell the cashier that I went into anaphylaxis due to cross contamination and he didn't seem to care. First off, let me say that I am a huge fan of tacos, big tacos, street tacos, rolled tacos... Pretty much anything with taco in the name I am all about. So I was very excited to come to taco y taco. Walking into the place, it is beautifully decorated. In fact, I was a little bit taken aback at how beautiful the inside was. Just from the decor. It led me to believe that things would be a little bit pricey. When I was looking at the minions, street tacos were a little bit pricey at $3.15 perter for a small taco. But hey, if the meat is good and well portioned I cannot complain. I ordered two carne asada tacos with cilantro onions and cheese, and to carnitas tacos with cilantro, onions and cheese. Okay. I didn't want to go crazy on adding any salsa so I could really get the flavor of the meat. I got the order to go, so I sat and watched the restaurant operate. The people at the counter were very friendly, everyone seemed very nice and cordial and I watched as people came in ordered, gotta seat and had lunch. My taco showed up, and I came back home to have them. When I opened the foil on the paper plates, I was a little disappointed at the size of the tacos, but hey, they are street tacos so I figured what they lack in size they must make up for in taste. Well, let's just say that the size and flavor match was about the same. Honestly? It's pretty rare that I've had any Taco that I would rate at a three star. But I just have to say it as it is, the meat just wasn't flavorful. In fact, the cilantro and the onions had more flavor than the meat itself. Very sad, because I was expecting more. The second thing that was a bit distressing is not all of the tacos came with two tortillas. It's been my experience that street tacos normally have two tortillas for each Taco to add a little more structural support. Tacos did not have that and to that effect, one shell broke and I was left having to refold it and eat a very messy Taco. Very disappointing. I don't know if this was a money saving tactic or what. Bottom line? I don't think I'll ever come here again. It's sad because the place itself is very beautiful, and from a visual standpoint delivers a promise of an amazing meal. But falls short on the execution. There are plenty of other taco places in Las Vegas to go to that offer larger tacos for less money. And may I say I have more flavor. Bottom line? Within a half mile of this location are many other taco places that outshine this one. My hope is that they do some serious recipe changing and presentation changing to match the interior of the place. read more

Hey Help friends! Taco Tuesday is always the best at Taco y Taco on Eastern in Henderson. We love this spot! We have family in Cali that come here every time they come to town. This location has all the flavors , freshness and options of a corner taco stand with all the extras, full bar, comfortable seating and spacious dining options on multi levels with restrooms and even music(live sometimes). There is a large parking lot but is shared with other eateries. So you may need to come early to get a spot. They also have a condiments bar with salsas and pickled veg. I really like the green salsa and the creamy green salsa. You can expect to see a line sometimes if you go during a busy weekend. You will see menus up overhead. You order first, pay and get a number for your table. The drinks are self serve. The sweet girls that work the front will deliver your orders to the table. They bring them freshly made so we have had items as many as 3 or more items delivered separately to our table. If it's busy and you are not alone I suggest having someone sit at the table to save it while someone goes up to order. If you want to eat in. Check it out. I will def be back soon. Yum! read more

The burritos had flavor, but I couldn't tell you what it was. The tables all have the finish worn off of them. They're probably disgusting if you were to swab them and grow something in a petri dish. They have a self-serve condiment and sauce bar which by the time we finished loading up on sauces, radish, and lime, our food was ready. Cochinita Pibil Sope ($6): This was my first time trying sope. It's a fried corn shell "sandwich" filled with cheese, your choice of protein, onion, cilantro, and salsa. The cochinita pibil is a tangy, slow-roasted pork. You can really taste the corn in the sope shell which changes the overall flavor. It was interesting to try, but I'm not sure if I would go for this combo again. Vampiro Al Pastor ($6): A vampiro is a fried corn tostada "sandwich" with cheese, your choice of protein, onion, cilantro, and salsa. The tostada was too crispy--borderline hard. The al pastor wasn't bad, but I prefer Taco El Gordo's version. Chicharron Street Taco ($3.25): Fried pork skin in green chile sauce. One of the best street tacos here. read more

TWO STARS -- Stylish spot, but the food and service missed the mark I really wanted to like Taco Y Taco. The vibe is genuinely great--dark, cozy lighting, fun decor, and plenty of comfortable seating. Unfortunately, that's where the highlights ended for me. I ordered the steak bowl, and the flavor was overwhelmingly salty. Not just a little heavy-handed--so salty that I couldn't even finish half of it. On top of that, the portion was surprisingly small for the price. For what I paid, I expected something more substantial and better balanced. Service was also a bit erratic. They use a number system to deliver food, but my number was taken away before the food ever arrived. That led to confusion and extra waiting on my end--definitely not ideal. With great ambiance but disappointing food, tiny portions, and service hiccups, I'm better off going to Café Rio or Rubio's. I won't be revisiting this spot. read more

Overhyped garbage... there's like 60 people in line and one cashier takes forever to get your food and when you get it, it's cold. That was my first experience here I was stupid enough to come back because my coworkers wanted to try it. We spent $150 here. Everything was bagged up when they finally gave me the food 20 minutes after I arrived so I really had no chance to check it. I trusted them. soon as I got back to where I was going I realized they shorted me nine tacos... the food is mediocre. This location is not on the strip and was recommended to us to try for a taco spot. Parking was very easy and their restaurant was easy to find. When you walk in, it's like you walked into a mini fiesta! The music was of their culture and the food was delicious. I love elotes! This is the first taco establishment I've ever been to that had an elote. Not some fancy corn in a cup, but a true street elote. Their protein choices were very flavorful and their Mula was great! The service was very friendly and they have a self serve station for your sauces and toppings. They have some high tops and a lot of short tables. Something changed. Maybe new ownership? But changed for the better. I felt the taco meat tasted way fresher. The portions and amount of meat and toppings way more. And the inside is much cleaner and more organized. I didn't think it was great 4-5 years ago but they really maybe listened to customers complaints and have improved. Good value now. They've upped their pastor game! Last time I was here, the pastor was too sweet-this time, it was perfect! The edges were crispy and the inside was so juicy. When you are there, you have two options to order: you can order at the register or you can take a seat at a table where there is a QR code and you can order from your phone. Tacos el gordo is normally our taco spot, but we're going to start coming here instead when craving tacos. Better prices, tortillas, lines, and seating. They also make their horchata and jamaica there rather than using the soda machine brand. The al pastor and asada tacos were delicious as well as their street corn. Their pickled carrots and jalapeños were great and the jalapeños were actually pretty spicy, which is rare in my experience. The chips and cheese are just tortilla chips with shredded cheese melted on top. Their service was great. The lady at the register apologized about the corn coming out late and was very polite. I was in town with my parents for Thanksgiving, I stop in 11/28 before I made my way back home. We all ordered tacos, asada, cabeza, sesos, tripas and their grilled cactus tacos, I love grilled nopales so I had to try it. They were all very good but my favorite was the tripas, not to crispy but not chewy, they were perfect. The service had to be 10/10. I wanna say it was the owner how took our order and was actually surprised to see her also bring our food out, she was very attentive. The vibe was super chill, the restaurant was very well kept. Pretty upsetting put in online order with notes for my kids quesadillas (no guacamole no sour cream). After waiting for 20 + mins after it was projected to be ready I got home and the kids food was wrong. When I called and asked if I can replace the order that was wrong with correct they responded that they can't do that it's too much for them to take a loss on 3 quesadillas.
