Very close to reporting this company to the BBB and atty. general's office for theft by deception…read moreand taking advantage of the elderly. My 88 yr old mother went to Chapman Ford for a routine oil/lube service on her 12 yr old Ford Fusion. Her bill yesterday totaled $1,200 ! She likes going to Chapman "because they are always nice to her because she doesn't know a lot about cars". $800 of her oil change was "LABOR"!!! Nothing beside that requested service and perhaps filters should have costed at most under $200 total! This is not the first time they have deceived her into work not needed, yet she goes back "because they are so nice to her." To the owner and general mgr of Chapman Ford: Recognize your customer, who they are, what is actually needed. Honest service and fair pricing would gain you repeat business. Stealing from the elderly or any customer, will continue to perpetuate the bad business reputation you have. Not only will I never recommend this company but will go out of my way to ensure others know about this.

They said that the pigtail that the light bulb plugs into had melted. It had melted. Total estimate for the headlight repair was $1,463 and the estimate didn't add up. I said no way! I went to Autozone and replaced just the pigtail and light bulb for just $68.85. It took me just half an hour to complete the repair. I needed to replace the light bulb too because Chapman Ford removed it when I said "No way. Maybe it was burned out. Maybe it wasn't. But they didn't do the repair, so they should have left the bulb in the car. I did complain about them replacing the diver's side when I had tested the lights immediately prior to taking it in. They said it must have gone out on my way there.

Joseph located the exact 4 door in my color with all the options I wanted. It was in shipping so he had the truck routed to deliver it to Jones. Within a few days it was delivered and I purchased my first Honda. Joseph even had a better price than the other dealers who only had colors or options I wasn't looking for. I'd highly recommend going to see Jones for a new Honda purchase.

This dealership is a complete joke from mechanical assistance to auto body repairs. The only thing I trust this dealership with is my oil change, and even when I get my vehicle back, something sounds or feels different and I have to take it elsewhere for second opinions. This review is focused more on my recent experience after getting in a fender bender. I had my Pilot towed to Lancaster Honda's Auto Body, where it took the employees 4 days, not including the weekend, to just look at my car to get an estimate, which ended up not happening. The establishment returned the keys of a car with busted fender and bumper quicker, than taking 15 minutes to assist a valued customer of 20 years. If you care about your vehicle, stay away from this establishment. If you are looking for mechanical assistance, Mikes Motor Zone. If you're looking for Auto Body repair, Maaco. Trust me, Extremely Disappointed Customer.

Dan Marrone gave me an honest description of the vehicle. No high-pressure sales. No lies. We came to a fair price quickly. He helped with the insurance, finance, and rental car return. Communication with Dan and the dealership was great. I drove seven hours in the snow not knowing exactly what I was going to see when I got there. The four-year-old vehicle looked like new. I had no issues and I am completely satisfied. Thanks Dan and the rest of the Jones staff.

This place looks fine and all is bright and beautiful when arriving and leaving with a car. I will…read moresay my salesperson was the nicest. BUT they don't tell you how they seem to not inspect their cars properly or even care to try to help out when you have to come back TWICE in less than a month that you've had your car over parts and malfunctions. It takes a few transfers when calling for assistance to get anyone to even try to let you explain the situation further. And nobody knows ANYTHING useful. It's like they're playing a guessing game. My "new" used car had to sit for a bit before getting an appointment for service. For which I had to wait 2 hours (appointment scheduled) to be told that I had to wait some more because they were just about to work on it. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of recommending the place to a friend. Who also got a car for her mother, and it broke down and made an awful noise 24 hours in. Not to mention they promised to detail it and it was dirty. The manager has NO customer service training, it seems like, or just doesn't really care because "once the car leaves the lot, it is not their problem". I'd think if they were to inspect their cars properly and be more into providing a better service, they could prevent a few of their problems when clients have to come back and chew on their asses while they show no empathy or willingness to help! I absolutely DO NOT recommend Jones Used Car Center to anybody that has no experience with these situations or would like to be met with more helpful people. Save yourself some time and go elsewhere, with better customer service from management and cars that don't break down in less than a month or even 24 hours in.

However, I've bought and leased new cars from many other dealerships where I've had a much better experience. In the end, I got the car I wanted within a payment plan that worked for me. To make this happen though, I feel it required a lot of work, flexibility and attention from me. Lots of phone calls and emails back and forth between me and sales with very little respect for my time and work schedule. On 3 separate visits, the cars inside the showroom were very dusty, no excuse when there are idle salesmen gossiping around the sales manager's office. The finance guys were top-notch, worked hard and saved a sale that I otherwise would've walked away from. One caveat here, they will hit your credit multiple times if they have to, to get to a finance term that works. This will lower your credit rating. In my case it occurred because they promised a deal they couldn't really do. They will push an expensive service plan on you at signing. Not saying it's bad, just be ready for it. Vehicle delivery was anticlimactic and rushed. (Screwed up the OnStar transfer from trade-in to new). I drove away feeling "meh" on the experience. They didn't do me any favors and I don't feel like they did anything special or give me a deal I couldn't have received anywhere else. I can't speak to the service which I hear is very good though, I'll report on that in the future. Overall, I continue to love the GM/Chevy product, but there may well be better Chevrolet dealerships around. Update..... Back at Faulkner for the annual inspection and oil change. This is the 3rd time using service for routine maintenance. Service has been outstanding but they take the state inspection very seriously and it does seem to take a full 90-120mins to complete. Friendly folks, Nice waiting area, clean, nice bathrooms, free WiFi, computers, bottled water, coffee, etc.

Let me tell you a story of why I will never go back to Faulkner Chevy of Lancaster. I first…read morepurchased a new car from them in 2018 and took that car there for all of the service and maintenance until I traded it in three years ago for something a little bigger to suit my needs. I purchased a certified preowned vehicle and two days after driving it off the lot it broke down. Fortunately, it was covered under the warranty and repaired at no cost. About two weeks later a check engine light came on and once again it was covered under the warranty and repaired. About 1000 miles after the warranty expired I started having major issues. I picked it up from repair of an oil leak and it definitely did not seem right at all, but they told me it might smoke so I kept driving it. The next day, the low oil light came on telling me to shut the engine off and smoke was blowing out of it. They came and towed it at no charge and repaired it at no charge because i can only assume it was something that was their fault. I have always taken it there for all maintenance, oil changes and recommended services and I rationalized paying inflated dealer prices because I *thought* that meant I was getting the best care. They had always treated me with respect and seemed to value me as a customer. That was until recently. I took the vehicle in again for an issue and was told that the car was fine and they proceeded to mansplain to me that the issue I was having was normal. I assure you sure you it was very much not normal. I was told to drive the car until something happened. Well something happened. I had the car towed back where they told me that the engine was blown, and I needed a new engine. At this point, I didn't trust them very much so I went for a second opinion. The other mechanic simply ran a borescope down and told me the engine was fine and it was just a burnt valve and he could rebuild the top end for me. While I was weighing my options on cost, I went back to the dealership to look at some other cars there. They were not willing to give me anything for my vehicle nor even cut me a break on any of the other used vehicles there, so once again they were just trying to take me for every penny they could. Keeping in mind that I purchased the vehicle from them only three years ago and still have three years to pay on the loan. I guess loyalty doesn't count for anything these days and all these companies care about it money. I would stay far far away from this service department and better believe I will never buy another vehicle from them.
