It's pretty good. Sauce and crust are slightly sweet, dough texture and taste is more like Papa John's than Domino's. It's not going to blow you away with its freshness or flavor or anything like that. But it's an OK price for a local place that people will enjoy if they're in the mood for this kind of pie. Much better than average pizza, mildly sweeter sauce, noticeably fresh toppings. I also very much appreciate that they offer green olives as a topping. Admittedly, I am ranch fanatic, but I was encouraged by my wife to try a bite without ranch to get a good feel for the taste of the pizza. It was so good that I forgot to even use it on my first slice. When I did use the ranch (which I think they make in house) on my second slice, I was impressed by the flavor combination; that the ranch didn't drown out the robust flavor of the toppings and sauce. Finally had a change to check out Fatzo's! We had heard many good things about this place since moving up this way. We were pleasantly surprised! Ordered two 12" pizzas to pickup - timing was good and pizza was hot. They got our order right, so I feel like thats always a bonus! They had grab and go sodas and had togo cups of ranch upon request - the ranch was AWESOME (if you like watery ranch, we we DO!). The pizzas were really good! I got a thin crust and was happy with the thickness (sometimes thin isn't thin enough). Lots of cheese and lots of toppings on both. Sauce is a little on the sweet side, so if you don't like that, fair warning. All in all, we were happy and would definitely order pickup again! read more

We come here at least once a week. We love the pizza. The sauce is not to much that makes you have upset stomach. We get the special with three topping, cheese bread and a two litter. ordered a sub to be delivered to a Rockford address . I was ordering from another city because my friend who was just released from the hospital was out of commission. I did not mention this to the person I ordered from. They then called back after 20+minutes and said the address was 2 miles beyond their delivery radius. I had a white pizza and a red sauce pizza. The red sauce was way too sweet, to the extent I'd have to say Little Caesar's has better sauce, which is ridiculous. However, the white pizza (bruschetta) that had no red sauce was quite good and I'll come back for that. The crust was superior to Vitale's, but that's not saying much. Vitale's crust is identical to cardboard. In Rockford, Pizzeria Grande is the one to beat. Still, try the white pizza and you'll probably like it. I sure did. read more

The food is delicious. Huge fans of the oven roasted subs. We have to get the sausage sub anytime we order. Homemade sausage patty, mozzarella and pizza sauce. Really can't go wrong with any of the subs. Tonight we got the sausage sub, blt and the fatzo's special with lettuce and tomatoes.
