Arcane is one of our favorite GR pizza shops. The dough is sourdough which gives it a really good savory flavor. The breadsticks are deceiving!! They look a bit lifeless but absolutely necessary to order and try. The cheese on top is a game changer for flavor. The dry rub wings were perfectly seasoned and cooked. I can't wait to try the other flavors. Pizza- basic P is a classic pepperoni pizza with cupping pepperonis. I can promise this will be one of your go to pepperoni pizzas. The mushroom trio is perfectly loaded- every bite you get a good amount of topping but not so overwhelming to not taste the actual pizza. Try them out! read more

I tried to call ahead to order, but no one answered. I went in-person, and it was ready in about 15 minutes, so I didn't think that was bad. I had been wanting to try this place for a long time now since I miss NYC/Neapolitan style pizza from the east coast. I also ordered 6 jumbo wings with sweet thai sauce, which were great quality wings; I would've liked them a tiny bit crispier but still very delicious! The hot honey and pepperoni pizza was very good too. Next time, Id like to try the Prosciutto GOAT. No seating inside; takeout only. read more

I put in a carry out order and it was super quick, which was great! The crust is good and the pizza feels really "fresh" and doesn't leave you feeling weighed down after. We really liked the NSB and tried the prosciutto GOAT, which we were really excited about. It was okay, wouldn't get it again. It was just lacking the strong flavor we were expecting. I was beyond excited to see Arcane open a brick and mortar after being so prominent in the food truck scene. They do a great job with a thin crust pizza and we opted to get a the Basic P and Sweet Heat. We weren't sure what the sizing would be and how we would feel but we ordered two for 4 adults and felt like it was the perfect amount for no leftovers. Outstanding Pizza! Crust is homemade and incredibly delicious! Perfect crisp on bottom and some soft on top but perfectly done! The sauce is excellent and the cupped pepperoni is great too! The staff is very friendly and they are great with the times for picking up- it seems like they are always finishing cutting the pie as we walk in to pick it up! We think it's the best pizza in town and that's saying something when our past #1 held the title for 30+ years. After reading the reviews we decided to try Arcane. The location is convenient, the prices were fair and the pizza was delicious. Our wait was short and the place looked very clean. We tried the not so basic and breadsticks. The serving sizes were large and we had plenty of leftovers after we both had our fill. Arcane Pizza is officially my pizza go-to as of tonight! Their ratings are accurate and well-earned because of the quality of their food. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza, which has pineapple and bacon, in addition to your standard BBQ toppings; these are unusual but delicious additions. I also ordered the angel toffee cake, which wasn't 100% to my liking, but if you enjoy heath bars, this is the dessert for you; I will definitely be trying their beer-amasu next time :) Customer service was great, and overall I'm looking forward to giving this place my business in the future for all my pizza needs! read more

On the more expensive side and that definitely reflects with where they are located as Creston is an up-and-coming neighborhood. While it is nice that the dough is made from scratch and is fresh, the pizzas could be better, expect to wait a while on Friday Fridays and Saturdays during the 5 to 10 PM timeframe. read more

For wood fired pizza, in a food truck no less, the prices are quite reasonable. Pizza was pretty good. Would definitely come here again. They go to Farmhaus Cider regularly, which is a great venue for the truck. Sweetie Thai didn't have much Thai flavor. I think I tasted it only in one bite. Still, it was a good pizza. Prosciutto Goat was pretty good. I didn't really get the rosemary from the infused honey, but enjoyed it anyway. Check these guys out. read more

Arcane Pizza is the newest addition to Grand Rapids food truck scene. They are turning out some amazing wood fired pizzas! Fresh toppings, hand tossed/stretched dough and imaginative combos there is something for everyone on their menu. We tried them out while they were at Lost Art Brewhouse. We already had dinner plans but could not resist as pie after pie passed our table each looking and smelling better than the last. We split the Angry Hawaiian (grilled pineapple, serrano peppers, cheese) and my husband got a side of their rosemary infused honey for a .50 upcharge. Holy, wow. It was SO good. The crust was perfect darker and crispy in spots, tender and chewy in others and the toppings were the perfect amount. I have no idea how they are able to have such quality out of a truck (not to mention such a variety of pizzas) Super friendly service and fantastic food priced reasonably. Pizza was great, pizza truck staff worked really hard but I heard them complaining because there was a line. I tried to place a larger order early by phone but communication and follow up was terrible. While placing an order they were irritated and we wanted to go back for more pizza but chose not to because the initial interaction was very tense due to a large order. I do not think we will visit the food truck again. Pizza was wonderful though! read more
