This order was placed through one of the food delivery services now operating in the Macon area. I thought it was a rather simple order, but obviously, someone at Fatty's felt it was too complicated. I ordered"The Big Cheese Pizza" and added mushrooms and ham. I also ordered "The Popeye's Salad", selecting Blue Cheese dressing. I asked to have the bacon on the side rather than mixed into the salad. Since it was not a "Dine-In" order, I expected paper napkins and disposable utensils to be included. The pizza was delicious, but needed more mushrooms and ham. The salad had the bacon thrown in with the rest of the ingredients. There was no salad dressing, at all. No paper napkins or utensils we're included. I placed the order about 7:30 PM, in the hope that the main "supper crowd" would have thinned out, so the kitchen staff could focus on each order more carefully. The order did arrive within the time estimated by the delivery service and the pizza was piping hot. I have absolutely no criticism for the delivery service. The driver was polite and friendly. I will use the same delivery service in the future, but there will be no more orders placed with Fatty's. read more

Unimpressed. We (myself and husband - not a large party) went for lunch on a Tuesday and ordered the 5.99 lunch special which included 2 slices of pizza and a drink. Flash forward 30 minutes and everyone who had ordered after us had eaten their food and was getting ready to leave. We ended up with to go boxes to so we could have cold pizza later. Got a pizza to go back to hotel. When they first put into box it was way undercooked so asked them to bake longer which they begrudgingly did. When we got it back, it still could have used more time in oven, but went ahead and took it. It was still really good pizza even though it would have benefited with more cooking. Several times now they have lost our order. When we've gone in to pick up our food at the time they say it will be ready, they have no idea where our order is. Which wouldn't be a big deal if this was a one-off or for unusually busy days. But this last time there didn't appear to be many customers and the staff wasn't hustling or seemed at all concerned by us showing up 45 minutes after placing an order and they haven't even started it. The really terrible customer service really left a bad taste in our mouth (metaphorically since we didn't end up getting any food) and we won't be running back to Fattys anytime soon. read more

I was excited to try their pizza, but overall I was disappointed. I felt like the cheese was a bit rubbery and the toppings were severely skimpy. BUT I will say, I've never liked a pizza crust more than theirs! It was buttered with garlic, yum! read more

Food was delicious, cost was very reasonable. The cashier was on her phone the whole time and didn't notice when a handicap lady was trying to come in the restaurant. That really botherwd me. You are being paid to work ,not be on your phone. Customer service is important. read more

We were pretty hungry from traveling all day. We stayed the night in Macon on way to FL. Fattys is a cool little pizza place in an older exposed brick historic building. The pizza was fair to poor. Very, very cheesy and quite light on sauce. Looked and tasted more like a cheese bread than a pizza. The crust is fresh but not cooked well. Overall not a great pizza. read more

The downtown Fatty's has always been one of my favorite pizza places. Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience at the Tom Hill location. I walked up and saw that not a single employee was wearing a mask, not to mention I saw an employee coughing / sneezing. Even the cashier wasn't wearing a mask, which is extremely frustrating. The service beyond that was poor as well. The pizza took 25 minutes longer than the expected time (despite being a carry out order) and there was no acknowledgement of the wait. Lastly, we paid for extra pepperoni and they were still very stingy on the pepperoni. The pizza was good, but it's just not worth it for the poor service and lack of regard for our community. read more

Awesome place with friendly staff and good pizza! Not the best I've ever had, but gooey, cheesy, and delicious all the same. A little greasy. It took a while to receive my two slices, but they came out piping hot, clearly fresh made and straight out of the oven. Very reasonable prices ($5 special... 2 slices and a drink), great atmosphere. Inside tables look out on the memorial statue, outdoor tables out back by a quaint alleyway. Bonus points for fantastic music selection (AM, Modest Mouse, etc.). From reading the other reviews, it seems it's a fairly new place. But they're doing a great job, I'd highly recommend stopping by for some solid pizzand I'll be back if I'm ever in Macon again. Went once for lunch with a few other people. I don't remember waiting too long for the food to arrive, but the pizza was pretty bad. I ordered cheese and the crust didn't taste fresh, and the pizza didn't have much flavor. The crust was soggy as well. To me, it's on the same level as your basic chain delivery type place. If you're expecting legit pizza with good toppings, skip this place. read more

had a meeting in Macon and we stopped at Fatty's for Lunch. The service was quick. I got the personal supreme and a large drink it was $12.00. I loved that they cut all the toppings into bite size pieces so you got some of each on every bit. Would recommend to anyone. read more

Fattys is so good cheaper than bigger pizza places and better tasting but I ordered a pizza for delivery recently waited an hour and never received it I called to see what was going on and they told me they didn't have my order in the system. I LOVE Fatty's pizza. It's seriously one of the best I've had in middle Ga. Very reasonably priced too! The cookie pie is to die for!

When we arrived, the girl at the counter never looked up from her phone to greet us. I had to interrupt her to ask if we order at the counter, or get seated and get waited on. It was out first visit and thought we'd try it since Dough Boy was closed. Right after electronically paid and tipped 15% for counter service, I was advised they didn't have the beer I ordered and she didn't know how to refund my money. I substituted it for side salad, same price. I noticed others that ordered after us got their food way before us. Finally one of our personal pizzas arrived, but wasn't as ordered. Then about 5 minutes later, my son's personal pepperoni pizza arrived and he LOVED it! By the time my order was corrected, he was done eating, so I got mine to go. When I got home I looked at the details of my itemized electronic receipt that went to my email and noticed they charged me $0.47 for a cup of water in one of those clear flimsy plastic cups (so that cost very little). The counter person never even mentioned they charged for tap water. The pizza was actually pretty good, but coldish by the time I got to eat it. Service was not great at all. read more
