I was always told when I tried Fatty's for the first time to go downtown because the food and customer service were so much better. Well, I rarely go downtown, so today was the day to try it. The customer service was great (at the non-downtown location). I got the 2 slice $5 pizza special that comes with a drink. I love the thickness of the crust and the pull of the cheese is insane. It was freshly baked and hot out of the oven. I don't mind waiting for hot food. It tastes pretty darn good. I love white pizza, so I know that I would definitely return to try the one with the spinach and mushrooms. Sorry, I can't recall the name. read more

I finally understand the hype--this pizza is OH MY GOD, SO GOOD. I just brought it back to my hotel room, and I'm literally devouring it like a savage. No shame. The crust, the cheese, the sauce--everything is on point. I was just in town for the night from Atlanta, and now I'm seriously considering grabbing another one before I drive back in the morning. Was not impressed in the least. My husband and I have been waiting to come here for awhile. With the rain coming in, we figured this would be perfect to take back home since we live an hour away. When we walked in, tiles on the floor were broken, it was dimly lit, thick with smoke from the pizza oven, torn chairs, rap music playing loudly and unfriendly staff. We have been coming here a while. Usually the pizza is great. This time it was hard to say that. The pie was very doughy, overly soft, overly floppy, overloaded with cheese which sounds good yet it over powered the dough that didn't seem cooked at a high enough temperature or long enough. I couldn't really tell if the sauce was there even though I could see it at times. Very thin crust which is awesome, yet so chewy and soft was hard to tell if it was cooked long enough. While the pizza is delicious (we ordered 6 different kinds) the management and communication between shifts needs much work. We phoned in a large order (for 25 people) the night before, called to confirm 2 hours before pick up and when we arrived 5 min before pickup no one had a clue about our order. Our attempts to talk with the general manager sadly has fallen on deaf ears. We also noticed staff behind the line not wearing gloves. Two stars is a stretch. First time trying this place. Cheese bread sticks are not bread sticks. Just burnt pizza crust. Barely any sauce on pizza and just taste bland. Of course the pizza is delicious, the cheesy bread is awesome, but I cannot say enough about the people!! I have ordered twice from here. Two big orders to be delivered to Atrium Hospital. Both times they have been OVER THE TOP ACCOMMODATING!!! Most recently I dealt with Ryle (I'm not sure if I'm spelling his name right), he was SOOOOOO hospitable!!! The pizza wasn't bad, but the crust was NOT cooked. The private online are not correct. A side salad (4 pieces of lettuce, A LOT of mozzarella, and 2 pieces of tomatoes) was $7, online it was $3. The small self sized pizzas online said $10-12 when they are $16-17. The wings are definitely overpriced with little to no flavor or sauce on them. We spent $50 on 2 self sized pizzas, 6 wings and 4 pieces of lettuce. We just moved to Georgia from NC and wanted to try local businesses, yet have regret as we paid way more than we wanted to or needed to, and the pizza crust not being cooked made it doughy and unable to eat. After multiple employees open just about every prepared order to figure out what is in the box, they realize that some of her items were never prepared. Stopping in Macon on spring break and we thought we would try some local pizza. I ordered the pizza online and the email said it would be ready about 45 minutes later. I ran to the local grocery store and arrived about 5 minutes early. 30 minutes later I had to stand at the counter to ask once again about the pizza. I called five times in a row to place a carry out order. I was hung up on, and put on hold several times. I finally placed my order online and waited 30 minutes to pick it up. When I arrived at the restaurant they did not have my order, claiming "maybe you ordered it from the wrong location" - which did not. Eventually my order "mysteriously" came through their ordering system (after 30min). If a restaurant can't staff their establishment sufficiently to take orders, they need to close their doors. I went to Fattys last night about 625 to pick up a hawaiian pizza I had called in on phone.The girl that took my order said I was screaming in the phone was my first clue.I asked if all the cooks and help wore masks cause Im 69 and have a heart condition.She assured they all wore masks. So when I went in the cook, caucasian man with dark hair was not wearing a mask and another black emplyee was back in prep area with no mask on either.He walked all way up to counter and took a mask out of his pocket and put in on.I stayed back 10 ft with my mask on.So I asked why they didnt have them on and that the Girl had assured me they all wore them and he said They werent required .So I asked for a manager and he said there wasnt one.And he laughed at me when I said why did she tell me all personel wore masks. So I told him I didnt want it but my husband had charged it on his card.So I reached and got it far back as I could.Box was almost cold and I had been early per the girls instruction.
