In reality, the job took twice as long, and I was charged $1,100.25--double the estimate! When I questioned the overcharge, Troy (the owner) explained that they typically recommend three movers for this type of move but only sent two. He claimed that even with a third mover (at a higher hourly rate), the total cost would have been "about the same" because a third person would only save 20 minutes--which makes zero sense. If three movers were recommended, why send only two? And how does an extra mover only save 20 minutes? This company lowballs estimates to get your business, then charges you double. If you want honest, transparent pricing, look elsewhere. Avoid Price Moving at all costs.

The only reason we are not giving the 1-star is due to the fact that at least everything made it here, but not necessarily in one piece. Our issue started with 3 days before our move that was planned 3 months in advance with their staff. We received a call asking us to change our move date when we had made plans all focused around the move date that they gave us. They instead came and picked everything up a day earlier than planned (which we agreed to) and instead stuck it all in a warehouse for several days waiting for a driver. They did not provide any status updates and when we called from the road, they passed the buck off to the driver again. When everything arrived, the movers were unable to get our bed up the stairs (we had specifically asked our Peluso mover staff member if it would fit and he had assured us it would). We had to call another moving company to actually get our bed where we wanted it. We have asked Peluso for some kind of restitution for this additional cost and they have ignored us. Boxes that we asked if they were packed properly arrived mangled and some items were damaged. Again, no restitution. If you are moving to/from Naples, FL, we recommend you go with anyone but Peluso Movers. I am removing a star for the response by the owner of Peluso Movers. They refuse to take responsibility for throwing our "packed by owner" boxes (nothing was broken inside of them so clearly they were packed properly) being thrown around given that the pictures speak for themselves. They are not taken any responsibility for the bed issue and requests for discussion with their staff have gone unanswered. Wow... this unfortunate response is the cherry on the top of this mess

What is unique about both instances is being told that there were issues with their bank so they had to have cash for the job. For each occurence the other oddity was not being able to get a reciept for my tax purposes. I saved all the text messages between us in case I faced an audit but it occured to me businesses have the luxury of collecting unreported cash...and that bothers me!!

The movers decided to fold the mattress in half like a taco and tightly wrap it with rope and tape so that they could more easily transfer it by dolly. Had they been properly trained, they would have know that doing this would damage the frame and innersprings beyond repair. They not only damaged the springs, cracked the wood support frame and ripped the mattress itself. This was pure negligence and lack of training. Although, our replacement cost would be in excess of $6000 + tax and delivery, we were offered only $500 compensation after waiting for weeks for an answer. We are now having to turn this matter over to an attorney, so, not only will they be charged for the damage, they will also be responsible for attorney fees.

After having made various calls up north to find someone that was available/willing to load my truck and risking telephone miscommunication with timing/rates, it was much easier to just enter my requested time slot on the E-Team website. I received a prompt call and we were able to confirm the move. As it turns out, my UPack container arrived earlier than expected. E-Team was extremely flexible and made it out a day earlier which helped us get our container out of the driveway later that afternoon....Which also helped us not make immediate enemies with the neighbors by keeping it over the weekend. Our original projection was about 3 hours with two movers. These guys were super efficient and able to get the job done in about 2.5. I was extremely impressed and relieved that it did not drag on. (Note that I paid them for the agreed 3 hours.) I've noticed in my moving experiences that movers will guarantee on the phone that it will not take more than X hours and then of course run over and you're forced to pay another hour....and what are you going to do at that point, move the piano, hutch, and treadmill by yourself?.... Anyway... I would definitely recommend this team. They were professional, polite, and reliable. Moving days are never enjoyable and you always expect to have some hiccups. This team will make sure that you don't encounter any issues in the loading/unloading process.

The guy doesn't have the decency to let us know he's not coming so we can make other arrangements. He ultimately texts me at 11AM to say one of his guys didn't show up and maybe he could do it later. We're dead tired and stressed from the move already and really didn't need one more rock dropping on us. This guy is irresponsible and untrustworthy. Don't bother with this loser. There's plenty of other good businesses to patronize.
