Hired for packing a POD. Luke and Andres were all business and methodically emptied the townhouse. But the magic occurred in the packing the POD. I started to get concerned about 75% of the way through but Luke reassured me it would all fit. It did with at least 3-4 inches to spare. Hard working. Personable. Polite. Broke something extremely expensive of ours and then turned around and sent us a check for 1/6th of its cost; saying their insurance compensated by pound! We filed a claim about 3 months ago and have heard nothing from them since. We have called multiple times to check on the status and every time they act like it is our first call. Moved our condo 3 miles. Arrived at 9:30 and finished at 6:30. The truck broke down twice by the time the day was over I paid what the driver told me, had no idea how many hours as it took all day to get a mechanic then a tow truck. What should have been a few hours took our entire day. Not good when you're in a time crush. read more

Any way 1400$ later and the the two men that did the work took forever to load I was not there to watch them work but I am very disappointed in this move as they came very highly recommended to me . 6 hours to load but 1 hour to unload as my teen children and husband moved the stuff out of truck at new house and carried it quicker then they loaded it. Despite purchasing 2 moving boxes for our tvs, the had the wrong size boxes. Took a 90 min lunch break. Took several 15-30 min truck breaks. Moved 70% of the stuff in the first 90 minutes, but then took 5 hrs to move the last 30%. They tried to overcharge us for the time they spent. Due to their packing, they broke a nice wall clock, 3 large picture frames, scratched up the top of the cherry dresser, and shattered our flat screen tv. When we submitted just the TV to them, they offered a whopping $90 for the 2 yr old 51 in flat screen. Their reason- it's weight based. After a new untrained mover dropped one end of our new dining room wood table and ruined it. the lead mover offered to end the move and move us "off the books" with a rented Uhaul. he bad mouthed the company, talked anout racism, and I was really uncomfortable with the whole situation. Their method of inventory is of little benefit: there is no way to know if or if not your items are actually listed in their inventory, nor if those items are missing or damaged! I had missing items plus a damaged washing machine that will cost a couple hundred dollars to buy the replacement parts! Also, do I have other missing items and hidden damage!?! If you value your furniture and other properties choose a mover that goes from your location straight to your new location, instead of movers who transfers your stuff from truck to truck to truck before delivery; this kind of multiple transfers causes lot and damaged items, such as in my case! The best way is rent a moving van and load/unload yourself. Or select a local mover other than Eagle Movers! read more

Do not use this company!! The movers were good in terms of picking up, loading, unloading and delivering, but the Customer Service department is absolutely HORRIBLE. Specifically Jamie and Kelly, are rude, confrontational, dishonest and the worst customer service we have ever experienced. We were told our items would be delivered on a certain day then that day changed and changed again. We were then given a final invoice that was almost $1000 over what our original estimate was after being told that that estimate would not have any additional charges and it was okay to add some boxes without charges, if necessary. Jamie was so awful discussing the final invoice (after four days of telling me he would get back to me), told me he deserved to take two days off and then hung up on me. The worst experience. I will forever be haunted by the sound of my mothers voice as she opened unmarked boxes packed by Eagle Movers. They specialize in chaos. Wrapping breakables with one piece of paper, throwing them together with other breakables and placing a heavy statue on top. They are a guarantee for breakage and devastation. On a Monday afternoon I send out several messages through Yelp to local moving companies inquiring about an unloading job from a rental Budget truck into a storage unit. My timeframe window was pretty specific so I wasn't sure I'd even get a response from any company. Mike with Eagle Moving responded within 30 minutes of my message with a fair price and the availability I was looking for. We exchanged all the specifics and I booked the service over the phone. I was moving from Fort Lauderdale to Fort Myers so I sent my dad on ahead with the rental truck full to meet the guys while I stayed behind in Fort Lauderdale to finish up packing the small stuff & clean my apartment. With that being said, I wasn't on sight to interact with the guys and give them instructions myself. However according to my dad he was disappointed with the lack of moving professionalism. He said that the guys who showed up were very young, college students or early 20's and they were very polite & friendly but clearly weren't professional movers. They did get the job done in a respectable amount of time but in comparison to the company we used in Fort Lauderdale their moving experience just didn't compare. Additionally I had given my dad instructions that if a box or storage tub didn't have a big yellow "S" on it, it stayed on the truck and didn't go into storage. Again I wasn't there on site to relay that message myself so it could have gotten lost in translation. Which I expected that not everything would make it where it needed to be so on Tuesday morning I went to the storage unit to find some boxes. When I opened the unit things were haphazardly stacked and overall just unorganized. Heavy boxes were placed on light boxes, heavy boxes were placed on my couches arms, it just wasn't arranged to my liking. Because I'm too organized, ALL of my boxes & storage bins had labels on them and I'd say 95% of the boxes were placed in the storage unit where the label wasn't facing out. I ended up pulling 75% of the stuff out of the unit to rearrange, reorganize and face boxes & bins. I really appreciate Mike & his crew at Eagle Moving helping me out last minute with this unload job. They helped with exactly what we needed which was moving the heavy boxes/furniture off the truck and into a storage unit. I understand they're a moving company and not storage organization experts, but organizing and properly stacking boxes/bins is part of moving. Maybe the team that was sent to help me just needs more time & experience. Regardless I would recommend Eagle Moving to those looking for moving help in the Fort Myers area! read more

No rhyme or reason! Broke my expensive WOLF toaster oven, beyond repair! I've had to actually re-purchase quite a few items. Received my electric toothbrush, with NO CHARGER! My water pic the same story! Many, many, many things missing! Particularly jewelry! Furniture was simply thrown into a room. I'm 80 years old. I then had to get help to replace my furniture and artwork! I STRONGLY recommend you look somewhere else for your moving needs. We simply downsized. 6 miles each way! My move was from an Estero storage unit to Orlando. The guys were Nice and everything was going well until it came time to unload into my new apartment. My new apartment is located on the 3rd floor and the guys had no regard for my sectional couch. It disassembles into 3 pieces and all 3 pieces had damage. It was like they just wanted to hurry and get the job over with. My couch was completely ruined and their response was that this stuff happens. My couch is 2 years old... it's original price was 2500$. The insurance they offered me before the move started was garbage... after the move i called their office and they said they'd look at the pictures and try to get someone out to repair it or they only pay back 60 cents per pound for the damages done... so dissapointed with this. read more

We used Eagle Moving in December 2020.  Our 82-inch flat screen tv was dropped by the movers while unpacking the truck.  The movers strapped this tv to the wall of the truck on its side without packing material/boxing (negligence).  Our new 75-inch flat screen tv was also dropped and destroyed.  In addition to dropping both TVs, they dropped and punctured the fabric of our newly purchased reclining leather sofa.  Outside of these items several other pieces of furniture were scratched, dented, or chipped.  It is now approximately 10 weeks from the move and we have yet to receive a phone call or email concerning our claim status despite having reached out to both the mover and their insurance company (multiple times).  We will provide additional feedback as our claim progresses.   Based on our current experience with this company, we do not recommend them.  If you are shopping for a moving company, we recommend you look elsewhere. read more

I was happy with my experience with the men and their moving my appliances. They used proper COVID-19 procedures when entering my residence. Polite, helpful, and communication before they arrived allowed me to get my work done before they arrived. Even though they had to arrive to a home where everything was in disarray because of a recent move and a kitchen remodel they assured me " no worries". Which made me feel comfortable and at ease with the removal of my old appliances. This was the first time we had used Eagle Movers. The crew assigned to our move was unprofessional and disorganized. Many pieces of furniture were scratched, some significantly. Valuable antique furniture was simply shrink wrapped, resulting in no protection at all. A valuable antique, handmade dining table was not protected at all and was simply strapped to the inside of the truck, resulting in scrapes and scratches along the edges. Valuable wooden office furniture was seriously gouged and scratched. After submitting multiple pictures of damaged items to their claims represent ative, we abruptly got a check in the mail for $270 with no further explanation. I have white custom dining chairs and custom table, a white leather couch and chair, bedroom sets and other misc items. They did not cover anything damaged all my pieces and I had to fight with them for months before they sent someone out to address the damage. They fixed all the wood furniture but the leather couch with a scratch and the custom chairs and table had black handprints all over them. They would not have them cleaned so I need to hire someone myself. The Tommy Bahama furniture that my children had was all chipped and scratched with large chunks out of them. When I asked the "claims person and Manager" if they knew the value of Tommy Bahama furniture they played dumb or are just plain stupid. They said they would give .60 a pound for damages (which I would have been happy with TB furniture very heavy 4k+lbs) they said they adjusted the weight to 350 lbs. NOT WHAT THE CONTRACT SAID. Get a lawyer, reach out to the licensing board. They have to carry 10K insurance for every move. I have reported and copied all emails and text they sent. I am making sure all my Real Estate friends know. I will go on every review board I can find to make sure you do not make the same mistake I made. The company is shady on actual schedule moving pick up dates. I was told at set up, they can only do two day moving windows. I even said I need specific day to move. They said that's fine but they need a window to put into the system. I confirm the date to move for the day I need, they say oh that's not a guarantee. they can come the previous day even though nothing would be ready to move. I said I wasn't told this at first when I said I needed this day. I got charge 800 to change it to the day I specifically needed. be very careful about requesting the day you need and get a quote for the specific day that you need. very shady read more

We moved July 19th, from Naples to Estero. Eagle Moving had the best quote and we were initially worried about how they might cut corners. That worry was unfounded. Jacob, AJ, and Karl did a fantastic job. They protected our belongings, were polite, industrious, and efficient. They moved our massive Cybex Arc Trainer down a flight of stairs with some difficulty. And they did it without complaining. Amazing! It has been a little over a month. When I look back on the stress and strain of moving, that day was made better by these three young men who came along side, shared the experience with us, and took the brunt of the strain off of our shoulders. Our recent local move in Fort Myers could have been better. Eagle Moving promised me a crew of three. Only two movers were available. The two guys worked hard, but they weren't very big. Subsequently, they were a little outmatched by the larger pieces of furniture. Two of the larger pieces were scratched. Unfortunately, one of the pieces was an expensive side-board. A large framed painting was seriously damaged. It was clear that the two movers were inexperienced and not well trained. I followed their protocol for making a damage claim, but I've yet to hear anything back. While the price of the move was reasonable, if you're looking for a mover, I'm sure you can do better. Follow-up: In contrast to the owner's response, my bid from his man, Eric, clearly stated 3 men... " I think a 3-man team with 1 large box truck should be able to handle your move efficiently." My damage claim was submitted on August 5th, as per the owner's instructions. Resubmitted on August 26th, after absolutely no response. read more

They must have sent me guys that hadn't moved before and just started that day. One slid an antique wooden table, like a moron, and it broke. Unbelievable. All he had to do was pick it up, it was small and anyone can lift it. Another guy was a complete argumentative jerk the entire time and was very INSULTING! Complain complain complain. I wanted to fire him and let him just sit in their damn truck, but they'd still charge me the same price. After these guys, I actually got another company to do the rest. The other company was WORLDS better. I'll never let my family and friends in Florida EVER call Eagle moving. Good moving companies are hard to come by these days and this isn't one of them. This is the 2nd time that I have used Eagle moving. The first time the guys were good, I had no complaints at all. The 2nd time they were GREAT!! I have no idea how they got this done so fast. I budgeted for 3.5-4 hours and they got it done 2.5. There were elevators in both buildings, yet they knew when they should use the steps to save time. They were professional & kind. Nothing was broken, nothing was missing and they took the time to ask me what room & where in that room furniture would be placed so that they could set it up for me.
