About 10 boxes 20 minutes apartment to apartment. Of course I complained and the general manager was very rude and told me I was supposed to watch the movers!! I didn't see that anywhere in the contract. I was busy moving my stuff into my car and driving it to my new place they would not take my stuff off of the truck until I paid... Do not use them. I searched on Yelp for someone local and Family Moving has 5 stars so I gave them a call. I thought they'd have to come out and give me a quote but Susie helped me out on the phone. She asked me to explain the size of the condo and how much furniture and then told me she would send over 3 guys. They charge by the hour and there is a 3 hour minimum. She happened to have a day the following week available so I booked them. Three young men showed up right on time and got right to work. I honestly thought they would be moving slowly to try to get the price up but they were quick and efficient. They wrapped a couple of glass shelves I was starting to wrap on my own - I didn't realize that was included! Once they got to my home on the other side with my hubby they were just as quick and efficient. He even asked them to help out moving a piece of furniture that we had in a room that we needed moved to another room and it was no problem at all. They wound up getting it all done in 3 hours and 15 minutes. We tipped them handsomely as we really appreciate great work ethic and attitude. I would highly recommend this company for any move you have in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area.

There was not a professional mover among the crew, and only the leader had a clue. They broke 5 of the legs on our 6 yr old bedroom set. It now sits directly on floor, making it hard to bend down and open bottom drawers. They also gauged the wood on the side rail of the bed. Our purchased home had a beautiful door which is so chopped up from banging furniture into it along with walls that it has to be sanded and repainted. Pictures were taken by "the kids" and calls made to the office the same day. After 2 1/2 months, of phone calls & emails, we're still fighting for an equitable solution.

Reed's provided my high-rise condominium with their Certificate Of Insurance . I was contacted by the crew 10 minutes prior to their arrival to let me know that they were on their way. Raz and Calvin arrived promptly at 8 am . They securely wrapped all my furniture and kyak and transported them to our new condo in a timely manner. The only thing missing was a cylindrical lock which I paid for in advance and the website stated that "the lock would be inside the unit". It was not. My guess is it was after office hours and I will return tomorrow to get the lock from the Manager. The facility is very clean and looks well maintained. So far, so good. If the rates go up too much, I will move my things again. I did not mind paying for four months up front in order to get the better monthly rate. Hopefully, this will be a better situation since my last storage unit did NOT have an onsite manager or manned office. Everything was done remotely and I could not justify the cost for zero service. I would rent from Extra Space Storage before any Public Storage Facility.

Alex was quick with his reply and we arranged to meet at my home on the 4th of July, and he arrived exactly on time. At first, it took a few moments to catch on to his accent. This very pleasant handyman is formerly a Russian, and he is perfectly happy to be alive and working in the home of the brave. In he walked, very confident, with a fairly lrge satchel full of assorted tools. I brought him to the site of the offending troublesome valve and he set to work on it at once. In what was probably less than 20 minutes, he had the toilet flushing perfectly, at least 4 times, allowing a fill each time. Congratulations Alex! QUALITY: One cannot argue with success. The job was handled properly, promptly, with hardly a word spoken. At one point, he wanted to draw my attention to a part, and when he wasn't able to say it, he apparently tooked it up and showed me the translated word on his phone. Clever, this fellow, quick and clever. VALUE: Alex had agreed with me in advance regarding the fee. He was happy to take my check and after talking with me in general about some painting (Ceiling) I might wish to complete, for which he gave me a fine estimate, he drove away. SUMMARY: Alex did exactly what he was asked to do. There was no holding out for more money or any such nonsense. Fee was perfect. Very highly recommended without reservation.

We visited the facility last week and were truly blown away by all the features and the exceptional customer service. They have lots of enclosed units in a variety of sizes, with the largest big enough to store our 45-foot motor-home. The enclosed units have temperature control and their own electrical panels along with coded access. There are also canopy options, which have electrical hook-ups AND fire suppression systems. And the entire facility is surrounded by a high wall, security cameras and storm drainage. In fact, we learned the entire facility has been built to withstand severe weather. Lastly, the owners are wonderful (which was mirrored by the other customers we met last week) - this is a family owned business and you can tell their genuine customer service and communications come from the heart AND the sincere desire to be successful by way of providing a great storage option with excellent service. Pricing options give real value for money and with no flexing. And we were told we can use the wash bay for free. We researched lots of places in the surrounding area and we would absolutely state this is the best option by far. In fact, we've not seen anything like it anywhere. 10/10. What a great moving company. Professional as can be, nice, caring, and extremely efficient. When the owner Ricky arrived, I asked him for an estimated amount of time to do a very big move. His response let me know that I might be able to manage the budget. I asked him to work as quickly as possible, and he made my budget. Moving is never fun, always stressful, but SGL Moving Services took a lot of the stress off me. And then, I acutally didn't have the funds in my bank, and my check to him bounced! Was he livid? Nope. He let me know he understood times can be tough, and he was patient for the next few days until I did have funds in the bank to pay him. This is not normal, and don't hire him on this premise. I just wanted to share how amazing he was in this particular instance. I highly recommend SGL Moving Services to anyone ready to move, no matter the size of your place. When I move again, my phone will dial Ricky's number again. And for good measure, his quote came in way lower than four other companies I researched. read more

I had some movers cancel on me. I called Ricky and he showed up after they finished a move that they had in the morning. Ricky and Ryan did an amazing job. It was truly a blessing in disguise. I do not remember what size truck they brought but it was a lot bigger then what we needed. Since it was a last minute move, they told me it was what they were working with that morning and came straight to my place right after. It did not bother me, however, I did not want my things to be thrown around. Ricky and Ryan used their straps which kept everything from so much safer. These guys did an amazing job for us. Their rate included a truck with all the necessary equipment. And when they say free wrapping and assembly, they mean it. After speaking with Ricky he gave me two options. Either they can provide the truck or I can. My move was a bit of a drive so I decided that they will provide the truck.They did arrive about 20 minutes late, but they made it up once they got to work. The move went extremely smooth. The only issue we had was the move got pushed back a day, but that was mostly due to another client being somewhat less that truthful about the amount of stuff they had, so the "small job" they were trying to do on the same day became a 12-hour ordeal for them. I get it, and it actually worked out fine. I have to say that William was more than accommodating, and the price was incredible! Completely blew everyone else out of the water! Bobby and Jeffrey, even though I knew they were exhausted, took the time to really put things where I wanted them, and helped me get a little bit sorted so I can live in the new place. I can't stress enough how much that helped me! I have a couple of physical issues, and I was pretty much done half-way through, but they just took care of it all, and now I can at least get ready for work in the morning. I HIGHLY recommend this company!!

He said he would have his best crew on my move. 2 guys showed up and they simply had little moving experience and the were just unprofessional. I am glad it was a simple move but I would never trust that team with a move with heavy furniture, etc. I was disappointed mostly because I was lied to after trying to make sure I had the right company hired.
