Unfortunately, this Fatburger doesn't have a bar like the one on Wilshire Blvd in LA, which was a let down when I walked in (which contributes to my 3 star rating). Above average burger and fries. New since last time I was at a Fatburger is the choice of burger size (small-XXXL). I like the topping options, they also offer a swiss cheese option on the burgers. The staff here though seems very unenthusiastic, especially for a place open about 2 months. The cashier claimed all their burgers were cooked to medium rare. When we got the burgers, they were well done and not even close. Then I saw the cashier working the fry cooker and scooping fries with no gloves, and this was after working the register handling cash. We stopped here on the way North from Anaheim. It was almost 10pm and our stomachs were a' growlin! Luckily for us the nice group working didn't slam the door in our faces (they closed at 10). Instead they were polite, took our order, made our food, then asked if we wouldn't mind sitting outside because it was past closing time. I love their hamburger patties which are made from fresh ground beef. You have options of different size patties and GF buns are available. You can also choose to order the patty alone as a reasonable price. There's a little wait for your burger since its made to order, but its worth it. One of the better tasting burgers in town. My girlfriend was ordering a hamburger wearing a n95 masks. I was not ordering so I stood in the far corner of the completely empty restaurant. My girlfriend was told she would not be serviced unless I complied with a state mandated rule of wearing a face covering while on property. I told the cashier I am more than 12 ft from you with no physical signs of illness. We were both denied service for not virtue signaling our compliance to a unconstitutional State mandate. I had seen a video on YouTube recently from the user's visit to Fatburger and it got me excited to try them out. There are no locations in San Diego, where I live. Luckily there's a location near my mother-in-law's residence. My wife and I went her just the other day. She talked me into taking the XXXL Fatburger challenge. The burger was huge! 24 oz. I have gone here a couple times for the impossible burger they have and it was really good. However when my husband and I just received an Uber eats order from them we paid $60 for our dinner (the impossible burgers are much more expensive) only to receive beef burgers. My husband and I cannot eat meat it makes us very ill. I called the restaurant to see if I could switch out our order, I told him we were even going to bring the burgers back to receive our correct order and he was nothing but rude to me. I could not believe the way he spoke to me it was absolutely unbelievable.
