The food is nothing special but it's always really good. I wish there was more booths available only having 2-3 to sit at in the whole restaurant. There is popcorn available to snack on if you don't want to pay the extra to get an appetizer. The dessert is way too pricey for the portion they give you and there isn't much of a selection for it. There is absolutely nothing special about this place and the prices they charge make it even less appealing. Strange decor composed of old dirty signs, inattentive wait staff, and just a generally strange feel to the place I had the "CJ Burger" which was rather plain and somewhat dry. I have been here 3 times. Once when they first opened and twice because others wanted to try it out. There is a reason this place opened near Fleet Farm and Tractor Supply. If you lived in a small town and this was your only burger bar you would think it was great. If you are a Citiot like me and you have been to hundreds of these type of places you would think it was very basically with nothing noteworthy and nothing special. They are trying to go for a car club or nascar vibe and might have some cool cars in the parking lot depending on the day but the food is very basic small town bar food. read more

Good for a pit stop.. decent food for a reasonable price. Service is hit or miss - mostly friendly or at worst indifferent.

Was greeted right away. Within a minute we had are drinks. Refills were made without a request. Burgers were awesome and they had plenty of fries. If you are looking for a place that had high quality burgers and service go to big willies. read more

At the mayo for about a week. Visited many places and fat Willys was absolutely my favorite place to eat and have a couple beers. Not down town was more than ok for me. Friendly staff great food and decent prices!! read more

I am leaving one star only - considering this is the HUB of excellent medical care, one would believe restaurants would be accommodating. This place was not!!! My daughter was advised to eat small tiny portions at supper before expansive testing in the morning at Mayo Clinic. She asked for the child's meal, explaining she could only eat a small amount. The waitress and manager both declined that this was a possibility. The $3 difference in price is not the point-- large portions nauseate ill people. LaQuinta motel next door recommended-- after we returned we told the manager and they were appalled. I hope Willy's enjoy the extra $3 they made. read more

Went there for my uncle's retirement party and had the shrimp boil. It was amazing and the waitress was very polite. The bartender knew about half the people that came through the door by name, so they must have a good amount of regular customers, I would recommend this place for any age group. read more

This is a burger joint. It has some great original burgers with unique names. For starters we had mufflers ( I think). It was cheese bread with pepperoni served with marinara. They were basically mini pizza starters on thin slices on French bread. Not sure if I would order them again. They had a lot of marinara sauce on them which made it a bit soggy and the additional marinara on the side was not necessary. I had a Ferrari burger which is a hamburger with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese on top. I had fries; nothing to crave but satisfying. My boyfriend had a burger that was open faced with French fries and nacho cheese on top (I forgot the name of this burger). We felt his burger had too much cheese on it and we are HUGE cheese fans. It would have been better if the cheese was real cheese instead of nacho cheese. They have a nice environment. The waiters were running around like crazy but were very friendly, efficient and made the experience overall pleasant. I would go back to try a different burger with a car name! This is out first time here. Staff was polite when we walked in the door. We chose to sit out on the patio as it was a beautiful evening! They have an awesome view of the pond here. We started with a round of beer which you can never go wrong with. The three of us each had a different meal which we were completely satisfied with. We will definitely be returning! read more

I am surprised by all of the negative reviews of this place. I tried a jalapeno burger here once and it was amazing :) The location is a bit far away from where I live, so I have only been here the one time. But I remember our server being friendly and the food being tasty. My boyfriend and I are burger connoisseurs and he was also pleased with the food we had here. read more

With unique automotive car themed decor and equally as unique burgers, Fat Willy's is definitely a must in my book. It brought me down memory lane of when I was a young child. I've been there quite a few times and have always left full and satisfied. My favorite burger is the CJ burger and the beans (they are to die for!) I would recommend Fat Willy's to all of my friends and am planning on taking a large group of them there to eat out on the patio! read more

Great food, terrible service. Gave menus to review and didn't even give us time to look before asking what we wanted. Didn't offer specials, overheard another waitress give them. Came back three times literally a minute between to ask if we were ready to order. Once food came she didn't come back to ask to refill drinks or ask if the food was good. After 26 minutes of waiting had to get up and go to the bar to get a refill while the waitress was sitting at the end of the bar having a drink herself. Awful! She wasn't even busy because she could sit and have a drink at the bar. Never again. read more
