Outstanding Customer Service -- Saved Christmas!…read more I cannot say enough great things about Tomo's Tackle and their incredible customer service. We ordered a fishing rod for our son for Christmas--he's a teenager who absolutely loves fishing and spent weeks researching the exact rod he wanted. Unfortunately, the rod arrived damaged due to shipping, and we were heartbroken. From the moment I reached out, Tomo's Tackle was responsive, kind, and incredibly accommodating. They immediately reviewed the photos, offered a full store credit, walked us through comparable options, and even went the extra mile to order the exact same rod from their supplier when it wasn't in stock--at no additional cost to us. They were patient, communicative, and genuinely cared about making things right. Thanks to their efforts, our son will still be getting the rod he worked so hard to pick out, and that truly meant the world to us. They didn't just fix a problem--they saved Christmas for a fishing-obsessed kid and a very grateful parent. If you're looking for a tackle shop that stands behind their products and treats customers like family, Tomo's Tackle is it. We will absolutely be repeat customers and happily recommend them to anyone. Thank you again, Tomo's Tackle!

People sitting in lawn chairs reading their books while soaking up the sun. It couldn't get more magical and relaxing than this. I came here to enjoy dinner at the little seafood joint located in the park. I couldn't have asked for a better setting for my last meal on my vacation. The breeze from the harbor. The sun beaming through the fluffy clouds. I was almost too good to be true to be in such a perfect setting. But I was here, living in that moment. I couldn't have asked for a better park to eat my meal at. Everything I took in will forever be etched in my brain. A memory and feeling I will never forget.

Randy and his team pick you up from the pier and take care of everything. You don't have to know or bring any thing other than yourselves. Bring drinks and snacks if you want. The captain takes you (just the small group, less than 6) out. The team is great with kids. You catch mackerel and then go bass fishing. They know all of the spots and make for a great day. The kids will learn and do as much as they are able or want to. We have gone out with Randy multiple times.

But once Captain Bill found the whales, we were treated to a non-stop thrill exhibition of fireworks in the water, from below the water, and majestically hurtling out of the water. Five stars for sure. My Sweet Lord, we saw it all. We had a ton of sightings, pods of four whales at a time, three magnificent full breaches and a dozen majestic flukes. Our guide/naturalist Rebeca added quite a bit to the experience with some expert commentary on the whales and the state of international whaling. One cool thing we learned was that whales spend their winters in the warm waters of the Dominican Republic and live off their blubber. Sounds like a good career path to me. Rebeca knew the names of the whales by their fluke markings, and she knew which whale babies belonged to which whale mommas. She was terrific. Just be warned, the ride to the whales is two hours out and two hours back to Gloucester. Our ride back was choppy and the barf-bag inventory was seriously depleted after our run. But this goes with the territory, it's a hazard for doing something like this. So if you have a weak stomache, take some pills or something . I was 100% satisfied with how this spectacular excursion played out. Well done, Captain Bill!
