I went with my family (son, his wife, kids 8 & 5, and dog) on a very windy, chilly fall day. The entire experience was 5 Stars. Two dog parks, a huge playground where we had a picnic, horses, a very large cow and many smaller animals in the children's barn. Plenty of space to run around and very nice, clean restrooms. We went on a Tuesday, so there were no parking or admission fees. We will definitely go back in the warmer weather. What a Gem! read more

Never had any issues at the Endicott Dog Park. The park itself is always very clean, most people respect the park and pick up after their dogs, some do not. I also did stumble upon a big piece of glass by one of the benches (see photo). Other than that one instance, I really enjoy coming here with my dog. Note: the water shuts off closer to winter so if you come around that time, bring some water. read more

We live nearby and this is one of the great fringe benefits of living in this area. We enjoy the dog park year-round, meeting other friendly dog owners while our pets enjoy frolicking and getting exercise. Beautiful nature trails pass through wooded areas and across the meadows. A classic English style flower garden is beautiful in season. Our grandchildren love the playground and checking out the barnyard animals. Fortunately porta potty restrooms are available. I can't think of anything bad to say about this local treasure. read more

This is one of my favorite places to come and unwind, relax walking around the park or just to bring the kiddo and get him tired‍. The park is not that big. It is pretty clean. The animals are well taken cared of and the bathrooms are not bad!. You know, for a public place!. It has a nice playground for kids of different ages. And also a dog park. Theres is a pond with tiny fishes a tons of baby tadpoles. If you're into fishing, you'll like this place. read more

Really nice park for dogs! Clean and large, also a separation for large/small dogs. Water fountains are great for the dogs. I've been here about 6 times now and always meet very nice people who are attentive and caring to their pets. I will go back!! 2/26/20 UPDATE: The park has really gone down hill fast. NO ONE picks up after their dogs, poop everywhere and they still haven't solved the problem of dirty rain water pooling in the large dog side. What a shame:/ read more

RIP Leila the goat, who I wrote about in my original review, but who passed away in 2018. I miss seeing her roaming about the park after breaking out of her enclosure! The park lost its sweetest resident-- but I think that mean white goose is gone too, so the balance has been maintained. The park has added an education room to the Visitor's Center building since my last review. It has some neat displays about the local flora and fauna, including an exhibit of live bees. The hours when the education center is open are very limited, so check up on that before bringing the kids in for that purpose. There aren't really any social animals there anymore; they pretty much just graze and don't want to have much to do with the visitors. But what can you do? It's not a petting zoo. I don't go there nearly as much as I used to, but it's still a beautiful place to visit. read more

Beautiful park with a little bit of everything- playground, grilling, walking, gardens, nature education, a pond, and even an estate if you walk far enough. It's a very laid back and peaceful place. And of course- there's the animals! Horses, a cow, chickens, sheep, bunnies, goats, and pigs! read more

This park has a big beautiful dog park with separate areas for dogs below and above 25 lbs, both of which include dog bags and water fountains. Each area has plenty of shade. We were visiting from out of town and took our two dogs there multiple times. Everyone was super friendly, and the dogs had a fantastic time getting their energy out. read more

If you're not native to Danvers - this place is a hidden gem. The park is gorgeous - grassy green picnic areas, dotted with shade-producing trees, a fishing pond, community gardens, hiking trails, a children's barn complete with all manner of animals, playground, picnic tables and grills for your use - at first sight we knew this was the place for our picnic wedding. The staff was responsive to our inquiry, any subsequent questions, and OK'd any vendor we asked for - they even measured their picnic tables upon phone call request from my very excited tablecloth buying mother-in-law-to-be. The Park Rangers were as unobtrusive as they had been attentive on the actual day of, which we really appreciated. We actually had to track them down to pay for our guests' parking at the end of the day. With several picnic areas to choose from, plenty of family-friendly attractions and an easy reservation process I recommend Endicott Park for an outdoor wedding or large gathering or anyone looking for some inexpensive (non-residents pay $3 to park for the day) place for an afternoon of outdoor activity. read more

This is a definitely a great little treasure in Danvers. This place is huge with beautiful landscape, a magnificent modern playground, a kid's barn with animals and equipment for learning purposes and tons of other great stuff. It costs three bucks if you aren't a Danvers resident to get in, and one dollar if you are. But the cost is well worth it when you realize it goes to the maintaining of this beautiful public area. With plenty of walking trails, picnic areas, and a variety of things to do you could easily spend a day here. The animals on the property are beautiful as well as the very well kept parks and recreation areas. There is also a great garden that today we found is rented for weddings and other such events. I would love to attend or hold an event here. Amazing. Do go here. You will not be disappointed! read more

Not a fan of the dog park. Dogs are separated by weight, so my dog was stuck on the empty side of the fence, watching the larger dogs have fun. The rocks were too hot for him to walk on. Also, dog water fountain was broken. read more

One of the best town parks of any town on the North Shore. Great trails, farm animals, ponds, playgrounds, etc. Highly recommended.

Used to be a great place to bring the kids but now u have to pay to go in. So you cant just stop by to say hello to the animals for 5 minutes unless u pay a dollar. I think if you live in Danvers it should be free or maybe they could ask for a donation. It should not have a mandatory fee read more

My son and I'd go for a short hike and then hit to the playground (we missed the old one tho!). Great little escape.

This has got to be one of the most perfect places to take children I have been to (and we have been everywhere on the North shore). Free on weekdays and I think it is 3$ for nonresidents on weekends. Was a working dairy farm until the 1950's. Lots to see... Bring a blanket to picnic, check out the barn yard animals, although they appear to be dwindling, let the kiddies play at the play ground, or bring a fishing rod and try your luck. There is also a beautiful "house" and gardens on the property. Can be used for party's and weddings. There are restrooms. Very peace full and I have never seen it crowded. read more

this place cant get any better! its great for kids and adults. For the kids they have everything they have a huge playground, pond, and fun hiking trails. they even have animals such as horses lamas sheep,etc. scince i live in danvers i n that every year they hold 2 events truck day and endicott park day/scoopahhbwl. truck day is great for the kids they have all kinds of trucks,cars,and even some helicopters and you can go in them too! they have fire trucks, police cars, abulances, tractors, etc. endicott park day is full of fun stuff like rides and bounce houses. If you live out of danvers its a cost of $3 and its worth it. read more

Beautiful park. Loads of parking. Free on weekdays (small fee on weekends). Petting zoo. Clean bathrooms. Nice pond to throw rocks in with the kiddos. Picnic areas. GREAT playgrounds. Only downside--they spray one section of the park with pesticides and I can't understand why on earth they would do that at a park where little kids run around and wouldn't know to obey a little yellow sign. That is the ONLY reason this isn't five star. read more
