It has such promise but the service was so slow when there were maybe 5 other customers, the entire floor was sticky, and the food was terrible. The first time we had ate here, it was good and we had good customer service. The second time we got the wings to go and those were amazing. We went on their 4/20 deal and got two of the sandwiches and was charged full price (almost $18) and then charged again for the deal price. (They were only suppose to be $4.20 each) We were told it was refunded but never was. We got wings again to go, this time they left out our sauces. The past two times the customer service was not good at all. This place has potential if they acted like they cared more. The sandwiches are not worth full price, they look much bigger in advertised pictures. For the price I would much rather have Good Times, any day. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Their service is absolutely terrible. I've tried to eat here twice and both times I left because the kitchen was so slow and I was consistently ignored by the people behind the counter. When the lady did come over she was completely non helpful and had very limited communication about what was going on with my order. It's like they don't want people to eat here. We went in last night around 11pm. So not too late but late enough. My boyfriend and I have also been to the fat shack in Fort Collins. This place definitely was better at just walking in. It was very clean and modern inside. The waitstaff were very polite, not only to us, but also to other patrons in the restaurant. We had to wait a little while for our food (less than 10min) but it was totally worth it. The food was very hot and stayed warm all the way home. I would rate this as my best experience with Fat Shack. We each got a different sandwich, both orders were correct and very tasty. My only complaint was that near the soda machine where we were standing waiting for our food was kinda slippery. But I think it might be because the floors are new and probably freshly waxed. No one bothered the say hi or ask how they can help or anything when I walked in. After a bit of a wait started ordering from a kiosk there were no instructions on how to order a sandwich without sauce, had to wait to someone to notice me, when I mentioned no one greeted or said anything since I had been here. The response was to rudely tell me they were busy cleaning tables because people "deserved" a clean place to eat... there was no one else in the restaurant.. haven't even gotten the food yet and it's a one star experience, I don't understand why businesses think they can just put a computer screen on a counter and forgo all customer service. Changed to a 3 star because the food was actually pretty good. This place sucks and should be avoided at all costs. It started off with the girl at the counter wanting us to use the touch screen device to order, so she didn't have to deal with us. The food took a very long time to get to us. When our food was taken to the table the counter girl acted like it was an inconvenience that we wanted to sit in the back because it's "difficult to find people and call out names". There was a list of excuses to as to why everything took so long to make. Other people in the restaurant were also complaining about how long it took. Look I'm not going to lie. I'm not one to leave reviews but I have to on this place. First off you have to know the food is and always has been amazing! Everything we have eaten here has been delicious. But the service sucks so bad I can honestly say we will never get food from here again! At first it was just little things, we would stop by and they would mess up little things on our order. Or we would get it delivered and it would be a little off but not bad. I'm not super picky, I can take little mistakes here and there. Then it got worse. We would order family size meals like we had before and it would be almost completely wrong. So we decided to stop ordering delivery and only go in for pick up or eat in. Nothing has gotten better. We went for wings (which are delicious by the way) and out of the five different types of wings we ordered for our group. One was right. One! First no one in our group wanted boneless wings and half were boneless. Second only one person wanted buffalo sauce and half our wings were in buffalo sauce. Really excited that there was a fat shack opening in Aurora and I've been there a few times and gave them the benefit of the doubt that they just opened and they could be short staffed but every time it takes at least 30 minutes minimum for anything that you order even if it was just an appetizer. They're food is overrated and overpriced. Always frozen never fresh. The bread is stale and crunchy. The cook in the back/ manager is always wearing a tank top which is very unappealing and unsanitary and his guts are hanging out. If you ask them specifically for sauce they never throw it in the bag. I tried to even place an online pick up order and when I went in there 15 minutes after it said my food was ready, I didn't even get a simple hello for 20 minutes of standing at the counter. I really think the pizza place next door is a better option if you wanting to buy food. Tried for the 1st time last night. Was greeted by a nice gentlemen at we arrived. Order at counter versus server style which is fine with us. Husband wanted to do some wings. Poor order taker had no idea what he meant when he asked if he could get them as flats only. Had to get permission as I option on computer. We were a little taken back that they don't even offer typical wings sides like celery/carrots in the menu and charge addtl $ for blue cheese for wings. I after looking at the menu at all the options was ordering a simple Philly cheesesteak and didn't need a huge multi-item meat, chicken, fried cheese, french fry layered burger. Was instantly told I could order anything except something that contained cheesesteak or cheesesteak included ingredients. That was a real bummer as most everything except simply single hamburger burger contains cheesesteak ingredients as the truck order doesn't gets placed until Thursday's. I nearly just left but decided to go with a single burger combo which comes on a brioche bun. There is no way the meat on that bun was a 6 inch patty as the guy said the small one was. Meat was maybe slider size at mist on a 6 in bun. It was so thin, torn and seemed like it was more of a patch work piece of meat they tried to make round. Bun needs to be warmed or steamed as it was very hard and chewy. Meat tasted was ok since it had "their" burger sauce on it. Fries were nice and crispy though. Splurged calorie wise and we went ahead and decided to share the Feep Fried Rice Crispy dessert and stressed that we didn't want them delivered with our food order just wanted to pay for them now and let know when ready to have cooked. Counter guy had to go ask if he could do that also and it was ok. Also got a Shock Top. The gal that poured the beer asked if we wanted an orange and we said of course. Listened to bickering amongst employees about where they were at. No one could say but kept going back and forth from kitchen. We were sitting at the bar in front in plain sit. Then the bickering began between the gal and who seemed to be mgmnt about what happened to all the tip $ went to from the pitcher up front as shift change happening and it wasn't there. Then saw 2 guys carrying computer bags leave from an office by dining area having a great laugh at whatever was entertaining them not even acknowledging all the arguing what was taking place in front of diners. Order guy left, gal left and then food arrived and guess what -dessert was included, in a to go bag dabut. Why? I explained to the person delivering the food that we specifically asked that dessert it come with food order and the order taker got permission to ring as such. She huffed and turned away. We ate and watched a poor kid who was at counter to order a shake stand there for eternity before someone came back out to help him. It was probably me getting up and banging the tip pitcher on counter to get their attention that they came out from back again. At that time we were done with our food and asked to go ahead a prepare our dessert. Came out in a bag again and for something that was deep fried was rather cold and chewy and reminded me of waffle cake blobs. We each tried one and No way these were freshly made and definitely didn't seem like rice crispy inside. I got up again and stood by front register again trying to get someone's attention. Finally banged pitcher in counter again. Longed haired blonde guy came out and I showed him the contents and asked him if these were what we ordered. He had no idea and said he'd have them make a fresh batch this time. Should have already been fresh. This time came out in the same shape and molten. I think they dumped straight from the fryer to a 6inch thick layer of powdered sugar in the bottom of another to go bag as it was even dripping through it. Resembled nothing like even a ball Rice Crispy rolled in batter. Oh by the way - never got the orange slice for beer. Doubtful I'll go back. read more

Not good!! I had heard great things about this place so I finally decided to order something. For 14$ I expect food that is a cut above chain fast food that I can get for 10$. This was oh so much worse! The fries were leathery, tasteless and dry. I tried to choke down a few with ranch dressing from the fridge but ended up throwing out the order. Wendy's makes better fries, OK? I got the buffalo philly steak sandwich. The bread was definitely good. It tasted fresh baked and was crispy outside and soft inside... but the filling? Overloaded with something that was either Cheese Whiz or that processed American cheese that overpowers any other food it comes in contact with. The rest was a mush of meat, over cooked veggies, way too much Buffalo sauce and I don't know what else. I simply could not taste anything but the buffalo and that disgusting cheese. I ended up eating less than half the sandwich and I could only do that by taking it apart and eating the bread separately. I pieced at the rest of the filling mush but threw part of that out.
